About Lakeside - Wynn Las Vegas
Star chef David Walzog, whose innovative chophouse fare continues to make SW Steakhouse one of the hottest addresses in town, turns from turf to surf at Lakeside. From this glamorous perch at the water's edge, he crafts modern cuisine that showcases his deft touch with seafood cooking. Iced Florida stone crab claws and lavish shellfish platters; ocean-fresh fish and a large variety of wood-oven roasted lobsters from various ports of call anchor his menu, while prime aged steaks and chops round out the bill of fare. Lakeside's new 'Ocean-to-Table' seafood program showcases a specially curated menu of the most unique species of wild caught fish found in the Hawaiian Islands.

Lakeside - Wynn Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
We opted out of a table outside or inside, and decided to ask for two seats at the bar. The cocktails here are wonderful! A bourbon whiskey smash was my perfect ending to a busy day. And my sister's vodka blend satisfied her taste buds. The bartenders are busy here, but not too busy that they won't converse with you. This small bar seats a few, but the bartenders also service the waitstaff. The menu focuses on seafood, of course, but there are other options. We settled on a medley of seafood on a bed of endive with a lemon vinaigrette. We left with a good taste in our mouths, after a long travel day. A good welcome back to Wynn. Try this place for a small appetizer, or better yet, widen your wallet and splurge on a full dinner. Enjoy one of their signature cocktails, too.
This was an amazing dinner to celebrate our daughter getting engaged. The service could not be beat. Everyone was friendly but invisible when we wanted them to be. Professionally dressed. It was absolutely one of the best meals we have had. If we happen to visit Vegas, we are staying at the Wynn and dining at the lakeside.
We were seated exactly where we requested. It was greatly appreciated. We each had a cocktail and ordered the king crab avocado appetizer. Delicious!!! Our steaks were prepared perfectly and were amazing. The asparagus was fine and the mushrooms flavorful. Our server Brandy was attentive, informed, and timely. Very friendly. The only surprise we had was the price tag on the drinks. $20.00 seemed steep for a Manhattan. Other than that, it was a wonderful meal.
We selected the Wynn Hotel for our visit to Vegas. A friend recommended the Lakeside at the Wynn. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is unique on how it opens up to the beautiful outdoor lake area. I ordered the filet with Caesar salad and the Yukon whipped potatoes. My wife ordered the organic chicken breast. We were very impressed with the quality, taste and presentation of our menu selections. Our wait staff was very polite and very responsive during our visit to Lakeside.
It was all good here, from the caviar and foie gras appetizers to the lobster risotto entree ! We were seated inside but could hear and see the waterfall and "lake" outside. There was also a light and sound show on the waterfall maybe every 15 minutes or so. The wine list is quite good and fairly extensive.
We ate here in April and knew we would be back. The food, service, atmosphere is outstanding. Mix of spices on the steaks and the char are perfect. Seafood is amazing. We had filet mignon Oscar style, crab and avocado app was amazing as was the lobster rissoto. We'll be back again in November.
We were seated outside, and the atmosphere was fantastic. Beautiful landscape and peaceful waterfall. Unfortunately, Wynn has a “show” that plays every 15-20 minutes and the music is really loud, impossible to sustain a conversation through. Not what you want if you’re in a meaningful conversation with a business client.
The food was excellent as was the service. Just expect an entertainment interruption every 15 or 20 minutes.
Dinner for two at Lakeside turned out to be even more than we had hoped for (and our expectations were high). The food was delicious, perfectly prepared, seasoned and presented. The restaurant ambience was comfortable and conducive to easy conversation. But the most impressive aspect of our experience was the wait staff. I so wish I could remember the name of our waiter and his assistant but I neglected to make a note of it. MY BAD!!! They were charming and contributed greatly to our Lakeside experience. Can't wait to return!! One more thing...the whipped potatoes were almost life-changing. All in all, a memorable meal in the best possible way.
Gorgeously decorated inside and out. Every seat would be a great seat. Sat lakeside every time I visited and the shows every half hour over the water were spectacular
Vegan options are nice but for the price I would expect a little bit more portion wise
Will come back again in the future.
Service was attentive and professional.
We came to celebrate the success of the business and picked this restaurant for its position and reviews. However, the greetings were average, waited a while to get to out table despite the reservation. The menu looked good but Lobster Thermidor didn’t look or taste like one. Service was ok, but not brilliant by any stretch of imagination. Why it takes so long to bring a bottle of wine.to the table?
I am sure the place can do much better than that and live up to the customers expectations. Good luck!
