Outstanding in every aspect!
Outstanding service!!’ Thanks Douglas 😎
The mahi mahi did not have flavour and needed to be more salted
The evening was magical. Outdoor seating is definitely the way to go. Even in cool weather.
A tad overpriced for the limited selection. Some of the oysters were not fresh. Drinks are additional cost
I have never dreamed of spending close to $500 (with the tip) for my wife and I at a restaurant, but someone we know very well that lives in LV recommended The Lakeside restaurant at the Wynn. It was my wife and I’s 23rd wedding anniversary, so being a frugally minded person, I opened up the purse strings for at least a night, and man what an incredible experience we had. The Maine Lobster just melted in our mouths, I’ve never had better oysters ever, and the restaurant presented us with a happy anniversary dessert plate (though we ordered an delicious dessert already when it arrived). The service was unbelievably great. We were seated quickly at a outside lakeside table (with heaters), just an incredibly beautiful setting. Did I mention the fun lake/water shows every 30 mins (we saw 4 different ones during our dinner). The whole experience was just amazing, really over the top of our expectations. I’m not a gambler (I live in Reno, Nevada), but I would recommend you spend your money eating at the Wynn Lakeside, not at a Craps table, because at least at this restaurant you’ll get something back, the best food and experience ever.
Best restaurant in Vegas
Service was ok...not great, waiter was pushing dinner order before or appetizers were out, want to sit back and enjoy the experience.
Although it was January, it is Vegas and it's been mild, but with the addition of patio heaters we were able to sit lakeside comfortably. Our team of servers were attentive and fun. Not at all stuffy. Of course the lakeside show at the Wynn will add a fun element to any meal, but it is a wonderful addition to the atmosphere here. Also, my plant based/vegan diners there are a few menu items for you...that aren't just salad!
The food was disappointing. Prawns were dry as sawdust. Very pricey for the food I ordered.
I marked would recommend due to the food and service. They were solid all around. Wine pairing was spot on as well. One of our party had a steak. It looked and was said to be excellent. The scallops and the tuna were fantastic. Clean, fresh, plated well and again great service. My only knock and I understand it is personal preference...... but the singing robotic frog and flames was kitschy as hell.
One of the best meals in Las Vegas. A Vegan’s dream!
Top notch! Every aspect. There is a reason that Wynn/Encore continually gets high marks and it because they make sure all the little details are taken care of. Friendly knowledgeable staff, cleanliness, menu selection and explanation by staff, presentation of food and ambiance all come into play here. High recommended.
Absolutely the best! Will be back again. The performance outside is so cool.
Loved the food, service, live jazz music and sitting outside in January. And yes it is my birthday month!!
I've eaten at Lakeside nearly a dozen times, but this time was a little disappointing. The service was very good and attentive, but the food wasn't up to par. The mahi mahi was overdone and lacked flavor, the caesar salad was ordinary, and the cocktails were good, not great. The scallop entree was excellent, but I walked out feeling unsatisfied.
Everything was OK, but not great, and I expected more based on past experiences.
The food was very bad. Mahi Mahi was seriously burned to black. Vegetable sides were way too burned. The burned flakes off from the vegetable were everywhere in the plates... none of us wanted to eat much of it... it was left almost untouched for most of the vegetable... very bad food! I could not believe the food was so poorly cooked at Lakeside. Pity for Lakeside.
Great. Minus ambiance.
Came in for a Sunday brunch buffet with reservations thru OpenTable. Very nice setting and service. Food was excellent, abundant and reasonably priced. Highly recommended and will definitely return again!
Outstanding experience all around!
Waiter a little too talkative. Good food.
Great food and service New Year’s Eve
Deserving of its stellar reputation. If you appreciate chef talent and outstanding service - you will be satisfied. Sit near a window or on the terrasse for a view of the lake show.
Loved it! The show, the food - so worth!
Quality of food was good. Flavor profiles left something to be desired. Service was somewhat unattentive.
Beautiful place, nice service. However, they kept a door open even though it was December, and in spite of our server trying to close it, they kept re-opening it. Everyone around us (including us!) was complaining of the cold.
Jazz brunch is enjoyable but quite pricey. Dixieland band is good but can get a bit loud for conversation.
Really amazing experience. I think the ambience and feel of the place is worth it on its own. Amazing patio seating, they warm it very well in the winter. The food is great too - particularly the shrimp and snow crab legs. So juicy and plentiful. The poke salad is nice too. On the menu I recommend the crab cake benedict, steak frites (I like the fries particularly), and the lemon ricotta pancakes. I think they need to rethink the buckwheat crepes, filling is a little mushy and monotone in flavor - I expect way more for the price. Also the bialy with smoked salmon was a bit too salty. The service was pretty good, there were momentary periods of shoddy service but overall that was a great experience as well. We were really taken care of! My only real qualm with this place is that soda, coffee, and tea are not included!!! For 70 bucks that should be complimentary.
I know that the price per head might seem a little much, but it’s well worth it for the experience. The bright sun, the all you can crab legs, the nonstop food service - perfectly Vegas.
Way to expensive aNd not much variety
Tasty but left hungry and it was an all you could eat buffet where I did not want to eat
I love the restaurants of Wynn Las Vegas, because they have so many vegan options, but not at brunch.
The atmosphere is super nice and the waiter who served us was very kind and asked the chef to make a veggie burger
Food was amazing except for lobster risotto. It was gummy.
Great food and environment
Lakeside is definitely our favorite restaurant here in Las Vegas. Food and service are always excellent.
We were sad to see some of the items now off the menu and new items are excellent so we can’t complain!
The fresh fish was ruined with crazy coatings like coffee, etc. This restaurant is extremely expensive for what you get. I don't recommend it as they try to take the food to such a high level that it no longer tastes good.
Service was less than accommodating- had to retrieve my own champagne from the bucket.
Had to flag down the waiter a few times and courses arrived on top of each other.
Price was way too high for quality and service.
Located beside the fall so the view was good at night. Others just soso. The sharing dessert was so small!0
Lakeside always provides excellent service.
Wonderful and the vegan options were excellent!
Disappointed. We come every year at this time. Patty which is main attraction was not open. Service was only “ok”. My husband found a piece of plastic in the 18 dollar mushroom side. They did comp it plus dessert but still not what you expect at a Wynn restaurant.
We really enjoyed our dinner at the Lakeside restaurant. My friend and I each had the mushroom soup—delicious— and we each enjoyed our fish, Hawaiian snapper and mahi-mahi. Great wine list, terrific server (Bruce)!
