It’s a beautiful location. I made my reservation requesting outside seating and when we arrived it wasn’t available. They did accommodate anyways. But the menu online said brunch, it was lunch only. It was very busy and took a while. But I liked our server, Austin. Seems like they weren’t prepared for the amount of guests. No music on outside either. This place was ok overall.
We took the family for Easter brunch and had an absolutely wonderful time. The food was incredible. The view from the back area looks on the lake and is peaceful and beautiful. Even the pickiest eaters were impressed!
Omar (our waiter) was awesome. We dined with two children and he definitely paid extra attention to our family. We stopped into the Lakeside after a long day of travel and this was a great spot to get the vacation started. We plan on visiting again before we leave.
This is a great place to eat outside on a nice day. We had Sunday lunch overlooking the lake and it was great. I loved the salad and my husband enjoyed the sandwich he ordered. The service isn't the quickest but if you're not in a hurry and you're enjoying a nice day that doesn't matter.
Great atmosphere!! Food was delicious. Service was slow. Restaurant is in the lobby, literally! Noisy.
One of the best and most memorable dining experiences I’ve had in a long time (& I dine out every day)! The carefully-prepared cuisine was amazing and so fresh, the water views were so beautiful and peaceful, and the service was impeccable and very personalized. I can’t wait to return this week!
On chilly evening the bar seemed more inviting than on the lake seating. Nothing special, nothing negative. Probably best for drinks & apps or small plates.
This is a magical place to have lunch outside on the terrace but - in the evening - the indoor dining area lacks any character and is, in fact, almost part of the reception area.
Food was fine, service excellent but not a memorable overall experience.
We made reservations on open table and when we showed up we had to ask the hotel front desk to be seated. The restaurant is basically oin the hotel lobby. The main meal was served very undercooked(rare) anf had to be returned.
Wait was awful. It was 20 minutes before we even had water pour water.
Entrees were excellent.
staff were very friendly and accommodating , great evening
We had a fabulous time. The food was amazing & the atmosphere divine
Our family was there for Christmas dinner. Our waiter, Omar was great as our waiter. We had two children in our group and everyone was accommodating. Food selection was excellent. Loved the location.
I want you to know how much I appreciate the excellent service you provided on Thursday! The unique place, attention to details, excellent service and excellent staff made the experience even better than I expected. Many thanks to your staff for extra help and for a memorable event!
Thank you,
Judita
very disappointed! Came here for our office holiday dinner- didn't realize restaurant is basically in the middle of the hotel lobby. slow service. soup/salad were good but took a long time for entrees and then the well-done steak was bloody and everyone's food was cold. Had to send it back- never saw or heard from a manager. Waited another 40 minutes and then flagged someone down and said we were ready to go and forget the food. They brought new entrees but it was far too late- we had lost our appetites and lost interest in staying. We will now have to redo our holiday dinner because this was such a letdown.
Great view
We loved the restaurant and the Thanksgiving buffet was amazing. Our waitress seemed a little frazzled and disappeared after first round of drinks. We did not see her again and had to look for someone to get our check. Would definitely go back if I was in the area again.
Perfect Thanksgiving buffet with not a lot of crowd. Expensive but well worth it for a special occasion. Food was delishes and the cold cut table was already value enough, before the meal. Complimentary champagne.
A little slow but nice atmosphere and friendly staff
restaurant lacked sufficient staff, after sitting at table for 10 minutes we had to call someone over to take our order and provide coffee. After 50 minutes there was no sign of our food so we complained and at last a different member of staff attended to us and our dfood soon arrived
Saturday night live jazz music too loud for a small dining area could not hear my wife speak at a table for two ..... small portions quite expensive for the quality of the food ... many other local restaurants with better food and better wine list .
Good food, average service. Still on of the best in Celebration.
Lakeside Bar and Grille was a great experience, our server, Anthony, did a great job taking care of us on the patio during the beautiful evening, and the Magical Dining menu was fantastic!
I took my partner here for his birthday during Magical Dining Month. The food was excellent! The service exceeded my expectations! I would defiantly recommend this restaurant especially if the temperature outside is comfortable, as the waterfront dining was quiet and enjoyable.
The location, parking availability, ambience, menu choices, food and server were great.
The time required for food prep and delivery were outrageous....especially considering the dining areas were vacant when we arrived. Fortunately, we had no where else to be following dinner.
Very pleasant surprise , plan to visit for other occasions!
My wife and adult daughter went to the Lakeside for dinner on Saturday evening. We had a 7:15 PM Open Table Reservation. We arrived at about 7:10. We should have walked away at the hostess desk because it gave us a clue of the service we were going to receive. It took 10 minutes for someone to show up at the hostess counter to seat us. Another 10 minutes for drinks to be ordered. When I asked if there were any specials we were told that there were no specials, but there was a price fixed three course "Magical Dinner" menu available. This menu was actually what we ordered from because of the choice of items and price. The "Magical" part was administered by the Wicked Witch.
My wife and daughter were served their appetizers (one hot, one cold) in a reasonable amount of time, but not mine. After 20 minutes we asked for a manager, and Kay came to my table and essentially called me a liar, stating it hadn't been that long. She did deduct my dinner from the total. My appetizer was finally delivered, and was finished by 8:09 PM (remember we were seated at 7:20 PM), then the next countdown began for when our entrees would arrive. They all arrived together this time, but it was now 8:44 PM, or an hour and half after our arrival.
The food was OK, but nothing spectacular. The restaurant had a jazz group playing, and while I enjoy listening to jazz, I'd appreciated it more if the volume was toned down. The only time we could have a conversation was when the band took a break. Our waitress, Summer, was way over extended having to serve tables both inside and out.
We are local residents, living only 15 miles away. We enjoy going out, including trying new places. We have been to several other in Celebration, but have scratched this one from out lis
Nice small restaurant located off the Hotel's lobby. Had music (which was a little too loud) and a chatty server who was a bit absent minded but nice. Magical dining menu was great, food was very good, and portions amazing.
First time here and will absolutely be back. We tried the Magical Dining Menu and every course from the appetizers to deserts Were excellent. The service was spot on and we didn't know this upon booking but they have a band that plays on Saturday's. Great popular Jazz tunes and not too loud that you can't enjoy your date...and a really fun atmosphere.
Surprisingly exceptional ambiance despite it being in the "lobby" of the Bohemian! There was live music on the first night of Magical Dining. Enjoyed wine that they also discounted to pair with the menu. Calamari were plentiful. Tomato nice and light. Crab cake not remarkable. We added a cheese board--outstanding! We enjoyed our tenderloin and a friend had the maple glazed chicken. Chef was nice enough to sub Brussels sprouts in lieu of asparagus. Thank you!
Service was very good. Dessert good. I was most impressed with what they did with this space! I'll return!
Our server Ryan was amazing, he took the time to tell us the menu & recommended me a dish that was delicious. What made it even better was the live jazz. Will be coming back for happy hour & dinner again. Very pleased.
We went for brunch- which is listed on open table, but I don't believe they actually serve brunch on a regular basis. We sat at our table for 10-15 before we were greeted by our waiter. When greeted he told us we had about 3 minutes to put in our order if we wanted breakfast. It was just annoying that it took him that long to get to us and then decide to tell us that we had to order right now if we wanted breakfast. I don't suggest going there if you are looking for a relaxing brunch. Food was great, but service was fair.
We enjoy breakfast here very much. Easy buffet or a la carte eggs make for a nice meal in a very relaxed yet fine atmosphere. Nothing stuffy about wait staff...welcoming attitude and kind service each time. Cant beat the atmosphere. It encourages long conversations and long visits.
Very nice experience, we were looking for a nice evening with good food and a relaxing atmosphere. We were not disappointed.
GREAT DINING EXPERIENCE!
Mothers Day
Right after making the reservation several days before, I was told over the phone that the tables were going to be in the patio (which, we knew, has a great view of the pond), but when we arrived we saw that all the tables were inside because of the Mother's Day brunch. Result: You are cooped up in one of the dining rooms (which I believe are designed to be meeting rooms actually) where there is gorgeous weather outside! The only thing that makes up (albeit partially) for this disastrous error from the management is the usual quality of the food and service we expect from a Grand Bohemian. Still, overall I regret to say it falls short of being worth the money for a "special brunch", but it may be worth another visit for a standard breakfast that apparently runs from 0630 until 1100 where there will be tables outside (trusting they didn't give wrong information again of course).
First time to the hotel and restaurant. Great customer service and the chief came out and introduced himself. Food was great, a little small but nice. I would defiantly return in the future.
The food was cold & basic, the waiter was slow and not very friendly. Only saving grace was the view/atmosphere.
Food was very good service great enjoyed
