Great food and service at a unique hotel lobby area in the heart of Celebration!
Second time I went bolt times everything was great
Dylan was awesome during happy hour, our service during dinner was very poor, took 25 min to get water , calamari was sooo greasy.
Have dined before and enjoyed, but this was our last visit. We always go for the Thanksgiving buffet, but this year was just a stressful disappointment. The food and dessert options were shrunk a lot this year and they eliminated the crepe station. $59 per person, plus $3 for a tiny soda or glass of tea, plus they add an automatic, non-negotiable and NOT ADVERTISED 20% “service charge” because “this is a special menu and we charge for the tip”. The decision maker for never returning, however, was the service. Our waitress was stand-offish, rude, and hardly did a thing for us, but was fantastic to every other table around. She arrived promptly to ask if we wanted a mimosa and offered no other drink options, so those of us that don’t drink had to request soda and iced tea. We weren’t told to help ourselves to the buffet. We weren’t offered mimosa refills like every other table was. We weren’t asked if we wanted a refill of our sodas or iced tea like every other table was. We had to stack plates and leave them on the edge of the table because she was ignoring us, but quickly clearing the other tables. Thankfully a sympathetic waiter saw what was going on and apologized for her actions, and took our plates. Finally I had had enough and walked to the wait station and grabbed a pitcher of water and 2 sodas. She flew over to the table and watched me refill the glasses, then held out her hand to grab the pitcher. We asked for an iced tea refill at that point. She came back about 5 minutes later with a tray of water glasses and plopped them on the table “so you don’t get thirsty”. She returned with the tea and made a finger counting motion over the table and said “so you’re up to 4 sodas and 2 teas” and walked away. That was the last we saw of her. She had another waiter bring our check and cash us out. She never provided her name, and the male waiters name is on the receipt. She ruined our Thanksgiving!! I asked the host about the 20% tip and told her we’d never return.
Went for the $60pp thanksgiving buffet. Way fewer options than last year. Very disappointing. Unable to accommodate allergies as everything was “pre-made this morning”. Sub-par service. Poorly lit outdoor seating. Next year we stay home and cook.
Horrible service. Buffet dinner for Thanksgiving and had to wait 15 min to replenish Stuffing. Ask for a wing of the turkey and I received white meat on my plate obvious language barrier issue. Mushrooms in string beans and mashed potatoes I feel wasn’t a great idea as a lot of people don’t eat mushrooms so there wasn’t an alternative.
Our 1st time for the thanksgiving buffet, 1st and it was our last time, from table tops being lose and wobbly, chairs seat being sunken in, from the food being warm not hot, buffet was not being attended to, i.e. caked on food on the serving spoons, and countertops we not cleaned from food droppings, crumbs . server poured water into our glass , most of the water spilled to the floor. Never mentioned an automatic 20% gratuity added on to the bill for a party of 2. Ambiance very cold, no atmosphere, the musicians (2)was the best. Spoke with the director of Food and Beverage Stephen Carter, he suppose to compensate us, we will keep you informed on the outcome. We are locals and we love going here for a drink and hors’d oeuvres sometimes. In December we made a reservation for the regular restaurant we’ll see how that turns out. If December is a flop, we won’t go there anymore.
We were all excited to have our thanksgiving meal, but very very disappointed how it turned out.
Delicious, fresh healthy flavorful food. Beautiful relaxing environment. Perfect service. Cannot beat the outside lakeside setting. Live jazz that was perfect for dining. We will remember this meal! Not a typical hotel restaurant dining experience al all!!
One of most pleasant venues in Celebration. Beautiful, peaceful view and great place to relax.
It was a very average experience. The waiter seemed a bit disinterested and the entrees were lightly undercooked. The appetizers just didn't taste that great. For it being related to the Bohemian, we really expected more. Not worth the price.
Nice for outdoor happy hour or casual dining. Live jazz on Saturday
Service was very slow. Odd set up for the restaurant right in the hotel lobby. We are not sure why they participated in Magical Dining because it felt more like we were eating in a busy hotel lobby with people coming and going, plus unsupervised screaming children. Food was good. Calamari was outstanding. The kids sitting with their mother running around in the lobby playing kind of ruined it for us. The front desk did nothing to remedy the situation and neither did the parents. We noticed the table next to us also were very unhappy. Manager came over later on an apologized for the slow service. He was kind enough to comp us a round of drinks and our gratuity. Although the hotel was lovely and we love Celebration, I don't know if we'd come back for dinner. The band playing outside directly behind our table was so loud we could hardly hear one another. It's too bad, because if it wasn't for the noise, we could have lived with the slow service.
This was supposed to be a Magical Dining experience, but it failed to deliver on a lot of issues.
1) We were seated right in front of the entertainment, this was very loud and we could not hear ourselves or the waiting staff when ordering. We asked to be re-seated inside, which they did.
2) Once inside, we were seated at a table which was neither in a dining area or within the confines of the bar area. We were in essence sat at a table in the reception area, while we were dining people were coming and going while checking in/out.
3) The food. We all chose from the Magical Dinning Menu. Two of the meals were completely mis-represented from the menu description. Aspects of the meals were missing, while other elements on the plate were under cooked, inedible and not part of the described meal.
4) On the only positive note, the manager was very apologetic and resolved the situation very swiftly to our satisfaction. He was very gracious in admitting the food was not up to standard and he would be letting the kitchen know this.
To summerise, an extremly disappointing night at Celebration, one that we looked forward to for months. Other Magical Dining venues we have visited were so much better than this.
We celebrated our anniversary there, and enjoyed it immensely.
The bartender was friendly and fast, our waiter was knowledgeable and fun, the menu was outstanding - fresh, creative, well executed. There was live music; our dinner was truly enhanced by the excellent guitar player.
Food was good quality, service excellent but ambiance terrible.Super noisy and it was only half full.It was our anniversary and I even went days ahead to select the table along a window. My bench seat was so low i felt i was about to fall through to the floor. The server was good but never once did she suggest she knew it was our anniversary. ( the details were on the reservation ) Food quality was first class but the desert was lame. Expecting a slice of cake or some special mention we had key lime pie that was no better then store bought. The table set up mediocre at best. The tables around us occupied by men only and to say the least every second word was F this or GD that. being a special night for us I wasn't going to suggest we walk out. There will never be a second time at this place for us. Not when there are so many other choices within walking distance
We were able to get a table for 11 and enjoyed a meal where we could hear from one end of the table to the other.
It was amazing it was my boyfriend birthday and he loved it the whole atmosphere was nice.
We went for magical dining. It is a little loud inside but awesome outside. Will try brunch next.
Food and waiter were excellent. Will come back. Noise level was load until happy hour over then it became acceptable.
My husband and I took a friend to this restaurant during magical dining month. The atmosphere was good and we got seated right away. When we were handed the menu I was a bit surprised to see that the magical dining menu was a small blurb on the upper right-hand corner of the menu and not a separate menu as we had received in other restaurants who participated in this event . I ordered the tomato bacon jam bruschetta for my appetizer and that was very disappointing. It was just white bread with big strips of bacon and a smear of what I guess was some kind of tomato jam. My friend ordered the calamari and she said it was crispy and tasty. My husband ordered the Farro salad it was only about a teaspoon of Farro with lots of arugula and some tomatoes. We all ordered the beef tenderloin. One thing to note is that you should not go by the description on the main menu for the beef tenderloin option because you do not get the Gorgonzola mashed potatoes with mushrooms ; the magical dining version comes with fingerling potatoes with asparagus . I don’t like asparagus so I gave that to my husband. I had the chocolate torte for dessert and it was excellent . They did not have the apple galette, so they substituted salted caramel cheesecake and that was also excellent . The service was OK and we would have given a good tip but what I didn’t like was that they added a 20% gratuity automatically to the check. Overall although we had a fairly reasonable dining experience at this restaurant I would not rush to go back there .
Although I really liked the decor it was quite hot and noisy and the service was slow and the food costs a lot for the quantity you get. I usually give a place a second try...
Wonderful meal!! We went for a special occasion and we were so happy we picked it. We took advantage of Magical Dining and were very pleased with the selections offered. As a bonus, they had a great live jazz music outside, so we ate our dessert there. I highly recommend the restaurant, especially on a Saturday night to hear the jazz music!
Food took a long time to come out between brunch & lunch.
Food was Very good but not great
Food was tasty. Service was okay. Servers should have been more knowledgeable and attentive. An incorrect order was brought out and servers struggled to describe menu items (cheeses, ham versus prosciutto).
Beautiful place with a nice lake view. Excellent service and delicious food.
The restaurant is in the Bohemian Hotel in Celebration. I ordered the trout and my husband ordered the catch of the day-grouper. Both our entrees were delicious and perfectly cooked. The salads were so fresh and you could tell that the ingredients were locally grown. My only criticism was the tartness of the sweet potatoes. Not my preference but still tasty.
The food was ok but it was a nice place
Went to brunch with my friends and husband. View of the lake was excellent. Food was very good. I would go back again
Other than one salad having to be returned, dinner was excellent. Live jazz was worthwhile, although the amplification was too loud for the small space. Pleasant service, competitive pricing.
Enjoyed the creative food and the musician who played for the evening. Just a little odd to have a restaurant and hotel lobby/registration occupying the same space.
Great spread for mother's day brunch. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Nice atmosphere
Danny the waiter was awesome as well as all the servers!
This is one of our favorite places to eat in Orlando. We like to sit out by the lake with the kids and it’s almost always perfect. This particular visit, the service was so slow we had to leave before we’d gotten desert. But that had never happened before. I suspect there was an issue in the kitchen. Other than that I’d give it 5 stars every time.
Quite impressed with the food! Service left a bit to be desired as our server was not very attentive. It seemed the manager/supervisor was trying to make up for it. They place a carafe of water on the table, add that to our wine chiller/bucket, app plates, empty charcuterie board, etc and it makes for a very crowded table. Unfortunately our server didn’t notice and we had to ask for him to remove items. Food was VERY good, thoroughly impressed with the entrees and apps!
Enjoyed our food during our date night. Omar took good care of us.
Anniversary dinner. Food was fantastic!
It’s a beautiful location. I made my reservation requesting outside seating and when we arrived it wasn’t available. They did accommodate anyways. But the menu online said brunch, it was lunch only. It was very busy and took a while. But I liked our server, Austin. Seems like they weren’t prepared for the amount of guests. No music on outside either. This place was ok overall.
We took the family for Easter brunch and had an absolutely wonderful time. The food was incredible. The view from the back area looks on the lake and is peaceful and beautiful. Even the pickiest eaters were impressed!
