LakeHouse at Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress
Extremely noisy. Meal very expensive and server was preoccupied and seemed overwhelmed. Paid $144 but service was at level of a low cost restaurant. Children running around, no masks. Parents were off and on masks. Nothing said. Server disappeared after meal served. Worst New Years meal ever. Not Hyatt level.
New Years Eve. Had read wonderful reviews, but we found everything very average
Food at the Lake House was acceptable although pricey. They are trying to make the experience enjoyable in the middle of a pandemic but I think that they should include more with their meals, like bread or toast at breakfast and bacon with the pancake meal. The decor is minimalist and rather spartan but all things considered they are trying to exist in an unreal world.
Nice thanksgiving meal!
Service was amazing… Everybody was so very nice and such a pleasure during dinner.
Excellent service in a clean atmosphere. The shrimp and grits were delicious! The cocktails were even better!
Great dinner and breakfast! We always enjoy eating here!
We did not even get to the hotel; the gate guard informed us the dining was for in-house guests only. Open Table needs to look into this.
Great Food & great experience overall! Highly recommend especially if you’re staying at the hotel!
seervice was just a little slow, and they brought our salads the same time as the entrees
The Food was delicius, hot and very tasty...just a little expensive ..
Mike was our server and he was outstanding! We love eating at the Lake House when staying at the Hyatt.
The entire evening was wonderful, we were celebrating my 50th birthday and the staff were very positive and accommodating. The menu is unique and fun with lots of options for both adults and the kids. I had the new york strip steak with pesto sauce it was cooked perfectly. I also had the purple grits which went perfectly with the steak. Everyone in my party of six were pleased with their food and service. We really enjoyed a memorable night. Thank you Lakehouse !!
Excellent food and service. I highly recommend to anyone considering it. You will not be disappointed. Keep up the good work guys!
Great place. Beautiful setting.
I enjoyed the service at LakeHouse. It was wonderful and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Food was good!
We were staying in the hotel for the long weekend and we loved having a nice place to come down for breakfast. Good menu options and the service was great! Our waiter was mike and he could not have been more attentive! We came back on our 2nd & last day there and asked for him.
We went for a girls get away over labor day weekend. The resort had only one restaurant ripened for dinner with 4 cooks on the line. They were unable to keep up with the demand of both the restaurant guests and room service. We waited over an hour for our food. When it finally came the order was incorrect. Being that it was a holiday weekend I feel that they were under staffed. They should have had double the kitchen staff or kept the pool (outside) dining open.
Food was ok. Drinks were good. Service was great. Very nice staff. The food was not up to usual Hyatt standards
The food was great. The service was great. Even though they are not servicing at full capacity, they are short staffed; the one we had Mike, was great. He managed to swing over 6 tables and came by every few minutes to check up on us. The Hotel Restaurant staff were great on sitting you and making you feel at ease.
Our server JP was fantastic. Very attentive and helpful.
Really slow service. Fish was overcooked and dry. Will not come back.
Although it was a very busy time when we went, you saw all the servers all moving with urgency. Servers were very accommodating and pleasant. Our server Isabel was FABULOUS. Interacted well with our family, very professional. Night manager took time to come by our table to ask how things were and apologized for the "busy" night and any delays.
We really enjoyed the wedge salad. The bacon jam drizzled on it was delicious! Calendar had a perfect crisp on the outside and very great flavor. Nothing was too salty or bland.
Incredible food. Impeccable service. Spent our honeymoon here 35 years ago and it’s still such a special place.
It took very long to get our food about 30 minutes before the they took our order.
Food is way too salty!!! Calamari, pasta, eggs next morning, hash browns. After night's dinner, I specifically asked for no salt. Was ignored.
The food at the Hyatt Grand Cypress is excellent no matter where you eat, even poolside. The meal was delicious, but the portions were disappointing considering the price. Still overall a good value since the kids ate free. Service was overall pretty good, but expect alot of screaming children and babies. If you want a quieter dining experience while at the hotel, check out Hemingways. Their brunch buffet is quite excellent and a better value since you can eat as much as you want.
It was the day after a wedding brunch. We were supposed to be seated together and we were not. However, our server was amazing! I forget her name but she mentions that she is from Colombia.
Relaxed environment with beautiful views at a decent value. Meals are ~$25-40
Great food & view. Excellent service!
The ambiance is very nice & relaxed. Family friendly. The servers and the entire staff are very professional, and provides excellent customer service. Great food selection!
After 40 minutes with not even receiving our drinks we left. It was like eating at the grocery store...too bright and loud. Service was so bad we left so I can’t comment on the food. What a disappoint for Valentines Day.
Overpriced, underwhelming food quality and taste....both dinner and the breakfast buffet....hardworking staff though....very attentive.
Could do much better for the money in Orlando
Super great staff, the food is great you don't have to leave the hotel. Ask for Ray or JP the best service anywhere.
Super Great service Ray, Great breakfast buffet.great staff.
Super Great Service JP
New Year’s Eve great place for dinner !!!!
The service at this restaurant, both at dinner and lunch, was fantastic. We had Anika in the evening and Mo during the day. Both servers were efficient, friendly, genuine, mac with a sense of humour. The caesar salad and calamari were excellent. The wedge salad was good. The sushi roll/California roll was fresh and excellent. The sushi chefs obviously know what they were doing. The fish and chips our neighbours had looked great, as did the salmon. We also tried the fish tacos. They came with lettuce and purple cabbage, vs lettuce, and were a little bitter. This was our least favourite of everything we tried. However, we liked the restaurant enough to visit the next day. Definitely would recommend!
