The food was so good and the cocktails were delightful- if you’re a whisky drinker, do not skip the Knoll Creek old fashioned. Sadly, not enough wait staff so service was a bit slow. But our waitress was a trooper and did her best.
Food and service was very good! It wasn’t busy, it was a Sunday evening so it was quiet
very convenient location, food was fine but not exceptional
The food was absolutely amazing. The short ribs were cooked to perfection and the truffle mashed potatoes utterly delicious. Very pleased with my meal.
I had a long day of travel, and was so happy to see that it was sushi night at the restaurant. I had very fresh sushi, that was prepared perfectly. My waiter, and the other staff all made my experience a great one. They were extremely professional, warm, and attentive! I would definitely recommend this restaurant for the food, the staff, and the beautiful surroundings.
Servers were all friendly and efficient. Food was prepared in a timely fashion, and was of good quality. Our only complaint was the dinner menu was very limited and did not change while we were there.
The service was good and the restaurant itself was very pretty, but the food was extremely disappointing. As soon as you walk in you get hit with the smell of old fish (from sushi bar), and although that should have warned me not to eat fish I really wanted salmon and got a wedge salad with salmon added. We started off with calamari which wasn’t bad, but they only gave us 4-5 pieces all of which the breading was kinda soggy and falling off. The salad and salmon I ordered was not good; the salad dressing smelled too much of anchovy, the lettuce didnt taste like it had been rinsed, and the salmon was very fishy. The salmon didn’t taste bad, but the fishy smell was too much for me. Our server did take the salmon off the bill which was very nice. My cocktail also had small pieces of ice in it which was weird since it wasn’t a cocktail that was meant to be poured over ice.
Food was great-good size portions and food came pretty fast! Would go back.
Amazing, delicious food and fantastic waiter. We will return!
Service not good. Slow... waiter never checked on us once to ask how things were... if I wanted salt or pepper (none on table-maybe because of covid), etc. Food ok. Sushi good though.
Our server was great and the happy was great, since we could have it at our table and not just at the bar. The food was limited and not flavorful.
The gods was mediocre and the service was disorganized.
Great experience overall and very convenient within the hotel
We would have probably had a better experience dining here, had we not been staying at the hotel.
Service was extremely slow. We waited two hours to get our meal.
Service extremely slow and food not very good for the price. Would not recommend.
Service wasn’t good at all, food was just okay
It took 40 minutes to get our appetizers, another 30 minutes for our dinner and 15 minutes to get my check. My daughters pasta and sauces was very spicy and my steak was tough. No bread for the table and they told us that they were short staff.
Great food. Phenomenal service! Enjoyable atmosphere!
It was not the experience that we are expecting. The service was very slow, when my plate arrived the temperature was wrong. Then more 20 minutes waiting, my wife ate alone and I did too. Not exactly what you expect for a Valentine’s Day.
I regret choose that particular restaurant for that celebration, was stressful and unhappy day, no server seems to care.
The food was ok.
I’ll not return at this place
The service was horrible. We ordered and never saw the server again until time to pay. We had to flag down others to help us and even got up and refilled our own water. This wasn't the best Valentine's meal for us. The food was great but the experience was awful.
Food was a bit bland
Great food, great service. Would definitely go here again.
It was ok. Food was good but the atmosphere was a little deceiving based on the pictures. It definitely has a vibe of a hotel restaurant.
Extremely noisy. Meal very expensive and server was preoccupied and seemed overwhelmed. Paid $144 but service was at level of a low cost restaurant. Children running around, no masks. Parents were off and on masks. Nothing said. Server disappeared after meal served. Worst New Years meal ever. Not Hyatt level.
New Years Eve. Had read wonderful reviews, but we found everything very average
Food at the Lake House was acceptable although pricey. They are trying to make the experience enjoyable in the middle of a pandemic but I think that they should include more with their meals, like bread or toast at breakfast and bacon with the pancake meal. The decor is minimalist and rather spartan but all things considered they are trying to exist in an unreal world.
Nice thanksgiving meal!
Service was amazing… Everybody was so very nice and such a pleasure during dinner.
Excellent service in a clean atmosphere. The shrimp and grits were delicious! The cocktails were even better!
Great dinner and breakfast! We always enjoy eating here!
We did not even get to the hotel; the gate guard informed us the dining was for in-house guests only. Open Table needs to look into this.
Great Food & great experience overall! Highly recommend especially if you’re staying at the hotel!
seervice was just a little slow, and they brought our salads the same time as the entrees
The Food was delicius, hot and very tasty...just a little expensive ..
Mike was our server and he was outstanding! We love eating at the Lake House when staying at the Hyatt.
The entire evening was wonderful, we were celebrating my 50th birthday and the staff were very positive and accommodating. The menu is unique and fun with lots of options for both adults and the kids. I had the new york strip steak with pesto sauce it was cooked perfectly. I also had the purple grits which went perfectly with the steak. Everyone in my party of six were pleased with their food and service. We really enjoyed a memorable night. Thank you Lakehouse !!
Excellent food and service. I highly recommend to anyone considering it. You will not be disappointed. Keep up the good work guys!
Great place. Beautiful setting.
I enjoyed the service at LakeHouse. It was wonderful and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Food was good!
