   We've been to this restaurant before and have genuinely enjoyed the beautiful view, inviting patio, and quality food, which is why we chose it again to celebrate a special birthday. Unfortunately, what should have been a lovely afternoon turned into a deeply frustrating experience due to poor management and a lack of basic hospitality. We made a reservation well in advance for four people and initially chose to sit on the patio. However, soon after being seated — and before ordering — the weather turned uncomfortably cold and windy. We kindly asked to move indoors, but were denied seating in the main dining area, even though multiple tables with a beautiful lake view were clearly available and remained empty the entire time we were there. Instead, we were moved to the gloomiest, most unwelcoming section of the restaurant, where my view was literally a "washroom" sign. When we asked our server if something could be done, she reached out to the manager, but the answer was still a firm “no.” I was deeply upset — not just by the seating decision, but by the complete lack of flexibility or empathy. After finishing our food, I asked to speak with the manager directly. To my disbelief, she told me that because we moved from the patio, we were now considered “walk-ins,” It was 3:00 PM — the dining room was nearly empty, and lunch service ends at 3:30 PM. There was no logical or humane reason not to accommodate us. It’s incredibly disappointing that a restaurant with such a great location would fail so badly in customer care. A good manager should be able to assess a situation with a little discretion and make reasonable exceptions — especially when the restaurant is not busy and the request is simple. I hope this review brings attention to the need for more thoughtful management and basic courtesy. What a waste to let empty tables sit unused while guests are made to feel like second-class customers.

   So many delicious sounding options, it was hard to choose. We did however and it was delicious. Our server helped make our choices and she was very knowledgeable.

   Beautiful experience, sat upstairs for first time, food was really good, portions are not huge but sufficient. Service was amazing and nicely timed.
