The Calamari was great and the Mussels were very good! The fish taco was just ok due to too much batter while the Mac and Cheese lived up to its reputation! Rhonda was very accommodating and informative. She made a pleasant day perfect. Thank you and we'll be sure to come back.

The Lake House served a wonderful meal amongst gorgeous surroundings of Lake Ontario!

Very nice spot. Been a few times. Lots of folk having dinner. But they’ve cut down considerably post COVID-19. You won’t be disappointed, we all had a version of the prefixed menu.

I had the Salmon and my friend had chicken. Both were very good! The sangria was very watered down due to the fact it was mostly ice. But everything else was warm and tasty!

The service was terrible. The waiter never checked in, when he did come over he took my unfinished plate without a word. Just scooped it up before I could say I wasn’t finished. I didn’t say anything after the fact but I was hurt I didn’t get to finish my meal.
After another long period of time of not checking in, we asked for the bill. He returned shortly with a piece of paper folded put it down in a haste and left without a word. The next time I was able to get his attention and ask for the card machine to make payment. Again, he dropped it on the table and walked away without a word.

Ambiance, we sat indoors. Had a decent view overlooking the lake. Inside is not too aesthetically pleasing. Pretty plain place.

Very nice dining on the lake. The service was fantastic. Our server I believe was Ashley and she was funny and took good care of us. The food was good but not as good as the Keg and more pricier. We both had steaks. They were tasty. Mine was perfectly cooked but my husbands filet kinda rare for med well. The peppercorn sauce was super salty and I like salt. Maybe next time we would try something different as there was many nice things on the menu.

Great setting on the lake. Unfortunately the food is mediocre. Guess it is a destination location, so people will keep coming despite the poor food.

Lunch at Lake House was a great start to a weekend away with my husband. Service was great, all covid protocol in place, and the food was fantastic! We had the fish tacos, shrimp “mac & cheese” and the key lime pie. Would definitely recommend.

Have been there twice now. Great food. Great service. Friendly staff. All COVID rules were observed. Will be back again soon

It was our 55th anniversary and the staff were very nice. They all gave us their best wishes. At the end of our meal we were given a delicious piece of cheesecake. Much appreciated and will definitely return. This was our first visit.

Booked on line and was disappointed we were not outside as hoped. The receptionist was very good but a bit Buick and short ,she told us the wait was an hour but our reservation was for inside and that we had a table with a view. The person who took us to our table was surprised we didn’t have our phone with us making a hard copy of the menu a must. The waitress Ronda was very welcoming and helpful and made our evening very pleasant.
I suggest you tell people reservations for your patio are not possible and that they are a first come first served basis. The receptionist was good but thought her explanation of what the reservation was common sense, because of the possibility of back weather, made sense but should be on line . Expecting everyone caries their phone is not realistic.
Food was very good. Nice evening all in all.

Incredible view. Every plate that past our table looked and smelled absolutely delicious. Our plates didn’t disappoint! Burrata board was amazing the garlic toast is perfect. Chicken panini - chicken was juicy and perfectly cooked, brie was yummy and arugula was fresh. Sweet potato fries perfectly crispy on the outside soft on the inside. Will definitely be back.

Always a pleasure but waiting outside to be seated is not. Would be nice to have someplace to sit. Would be awesome if we could reserve patio seating.

Awesome lunch with friends. This restaurant has been a favourite of ours for a long time and now we’ve just moved to the area, so can visit more often. Food and service are consistently good.

Our table was by a window that was covered with fruit flies outside and there were many in side the window too right at our table which wasn’t too bad until the food was brought out. I ordered beef short ribs which are usually very juicy. They were so dry I could hardly swallow it without a drink. This is my second time here, the first was fabulous this time not at all!

Celebrated our 47th anniversary & my sisters 72nd Birthday together. It was a lovely evening and the view was spectacular. Food was awesome, well presented and great value. Thoroughly enjoyed. Waitress was nice enough but not as pleasant as previous visits and celebrations were largely ignored. Bit disappointing but the food was incredible. Safety protocols were observed and we felt comfortable with Covid precautions.

The Lakehouse has been one of our favourite places for a relaxing lunch or dinner for years. We have always been pleased with the welcoming service and excellent food. For us, no trip to the Niagara region is complete without a stop at the Lakehouse.

Great experience, was able to come in a little early. We had a great table by the window with a lake view. The food was delicious! Service was friendly and Covid protocols were obviously in place!

A beautiful location on the lake. Lunch was wonderful and the staff were very friendly.

The food was excellent. I had the chicken panini which was almost too much for lunch i.e. salad, fries and panini. Probably better for dinner. thanks.

A shout out to the young lady who was trying to seat us, I know it's difficult in these times, however I'd like to give feedback. You took us upstairs first, which seemed great at first, however, it was too compact in there. Then I specifically asked for a table along the wall/or window and you sat us in the middle of the room, while two other couples came in afterwards and were seating along the wall/window (at tables for 4). Please listen to your customer!!! Our server, Jennifer, was awesome. Well spoken, she timed her arrival at our table perfectly and looked after us well. The food (chicken and salmon) was amazing!! Keep it up Lakehouse.

Dinner was fantastic as always, however I wish they had informed us that the tent had been taken down for outdoor dining and we had to dine on the patio which was far too cold.

Romantic place with good food for every age. Still didn’t try dessert due huge main dish servings :)

Excellent restaurant! Have visited many times and have yet to have a bad experience. Food, service and ambiance are always outstanding. Weather permitting - enjoy the patio with fabulous lake view!

My friend had the clam chowder. Said it wasn’t hot & not as flavourful as she expected. Loved her muscles.

Had a great celebration for my husband's birthday. Good food friendly service overall great time will come again.

We booked reservations two week prior... and still had to wait 15 mins to sit down... while we were waiting another couple came in and were offered to sit inside with a view overlooking the lake.. while we sat near the bathroom bar side.. great way to celebrate our first anniversary.

For the food it was aright both worth the price.. definitely had better calimari and steak in cheaper locations.

but The waitress was kind and respectful

The only thing I wish for is that the calories of the foods were posted on the menu

Attended for an anniversary dinner. Friendly staff who acknowledged that it was our anniversary and put some nice heart-shaped confetti on the table. We went with the fixed menu and an extra entre. The Boston chowder was rich and satisfying. The lamb shank had sweet curry notes while the short rib was sweeter with berry notes. Both fall off the bone tender. Highly recommended!

Very disappointing not a good experience at all. Travelled 2 hours to go for lunch to celebrate our 2 year wedding anniversary put in a special request for nice table with view which we received. However our reservation was for 330pm and we arrived early at 3pm and told no tables available even tho it was not busy at all. Waited until 330pm only to find out menu was limited for dinner prep. We were really looking forward to trying this place for first time and saved our appetite as we had reviewed the menu online and Saw so many great dishes we wanted to try. We had salad or pizza to choose from after travelling two hours on a very special occasion to find that out we would of dined elsewhere. Even tho everyone around us was eating perch tacos and burgers etc and just recieving our meals after we had already been sitting 15 minutes not sure why werent giving same option server tried to explain and was very bland about it didn't seem to care about costumer experience even stated that alot of people complain and it should be listed in the website! Yes it should be listed and secondly if an employee is saying this to a first time customer than why is this still continuing you would think the restaurants would offer the full lunch menu up until 4pm or at least last call at 345pm we decided only because we were starving after a long travel to get the arriabia pizza to share. It was flavourless and extremely greasy! My husband had a caesar which presentation was nice and he said was the best ever and I had an ice tea that tasted like pure water again disappointing. Was not offered refill and or water we wanted in and out 40$ for pizza and 2 drinks later lead to a very disappointing anniversary dinner and horrible first impression of the lakehouse if you are trying do not go after 3 for lunch not worth it with the limited menu would of been really nice to try some real food...

Excellent social distancing of the tables. The lobby area got crowded but we didn’t wait too long for our reserved table. I would have stepped outside to wait if it had taken any longer.
I hadn’t been since it had been renovated. I like the more modern look.
The food is always good. The burger is delicious. And I loved the Lake House Fizz cocktail. Both reasonable priced.
Our server, Kaylyn was fantastic.
We sat upstairs in the private function room that is now being used as regular tables during Covid social distancing. Large window and lots of mirrors so everyone can enjoy the lake view.

Upon arrival we were seated at the back at a table against the wall and distanced from other people. But, there are 2 doors going to outside in this room and neither door closed on its own. Waitresses and guests were continually going through these doors and not closing them. It was windy and cold outside so had to sit with our coats on while eating. Many times I got up to close the door after repeatedly asking servers to close the door. After I told a busser. about it, she mentioned it to the servers and then noticed that it was better. The fish tacos were plentiful and excellent. We were offered the very tiny desserts as compliment because of what we had to put up with.

Delicious food! We got the clam chowder, the Brie skillet, shrimp Mac and cheese and the fish taco. Super Yummy.!

Beautiful setting, good food. Make sure you go during daylight/sunset to really enjoy the view.
