Lake Elmo Inn
The Lake Elmo Inn has been chosen as one of the top 100 Brunches in the nation by Open Table. From shrimp cocktail, smoked salmon, double smoked ham, and carved rounds of beef, to eggs Benedict, Belgium waffles, mouthwatering salads, and fresh seasonal fruit, the Lake Elmo Inn serves a Sunday Brunch that is artfully prepared and elegantly presented.
Best food, best service, best ambiance in all of Twin City Restaurants.
The bread rolls were exceptional. The Ribs were very tasty and very tender, would have liked more sauce. The marinated veggies was great, never had that before. Great part of this brunch is the wide variety you had to choice from.
Food was good but cold sent it back. Bread came with meal instead of before. I think the waitress was having an off night! That said they did offer discount on food and a free desert but that wasn’t the point It ruined our Birthday evening!
Great food and service as always!
Food excellent, Service great! We have never had any issues at Lake Elmo Inn.
One of the many nice things I was amazed was when the bill came it included a 3% surcharge. It was for the non tipped employees which are just as important as the tipped employees. It was to help keep and retain good help. I was happy to pay it and wondered why all restaurants didn't consider there employees this way!!!
Always good food and service. Menu with daily specials makes it a pleasure to dine there.
Lake Elmo Inn is the BEST!
5 stars as always.
We enjoyed a delicious lunch with friends...and still ordered dessert!
This was the first time in three (3) years that the broiled cod was prepared properly. The fish was tasty, flaky and buttery which was far superior to the dry and tasteless cod we've experienced in the past. Our hats off to a change in the preparation. They did run out of broiled fish which was a disappointment.
We have always had wonderful dining experiences at Lake Elmo Inn, but this visit exceeded our expectations. The food was just wonderful and delicious. And plentiful. Service is always excellent and was so again. We strongly recommend Lake Elmo Inn for any meal.
Great bar staff!
Easter decorations have begun. The room we were seated in had a 40 pound white chocolate decorated Easter egg flanked by chocolate bunnies. Main dining had a 100 pound egg! Festive atmosphere and superb food!
Delicious food, lovely table, great waiter!
One of better experiences - we were there a couple of weeks ago for lunch and last night for dinner. Both experiences were made so lovely because of the hostess. Both women were very friendly and accommodating - first impressions make such a difference!!
Awesome! Great place for nice quiet dinner!
The selection and the taste of everything I tried, couldn’t try it all, was superb. The employees are friendly, happy to be working there, do a great job at keeping all the items on the buffet full, neat and clean. The waitresses are very attentive, keeping beverages full, dishes removed as needed and accommodating to any wishes. Have been there many times over the years and never disappointed.
Always the best.
Good a always. Went for Sunday brunch. Priced $5 more than last year, still OK but not great value.
You can not go wrong with the Lake Elmo Inn!! They have the most fabulous Sunday brunch. The food is always outstanding and the service is beyond superb....We have gone there for years and are always pleased with the selection and variety on the buffet. Make it a special occasion, but make sure you get there. You won't regret the decision.
First time at Lake Elmo inn. Had very high expectations, did not meet them
Birthday for my significant other
We have been going to the Lake Elmo Inn since our wedding rehearsal dinner was held there on September 16, 1988 and have never had anything but top notch service and food.
Birthday lunch celebrating a 27 year old’s birthday attended by his Grandmother. Buffet and two Walleye lunches. Server was very attentive.
Lake Elmo Inn is my favorite restaurant to eat at!
Good food, presentation was great, champagne flowed, plates cleared, definitely tasted a quality unmatched in the surrounding area
The prices were for gourmet food which this was not. My duck was deep fried (yuck) and the candied carrots were under cooked. We had ordered champagne for my husband's birthday which were didn't get, but were charged. However it was corrected when paying the bill. Wouldn't go back.
A bit pricey for the average bear like me, but worth every penny for an anniversary or special event. Food is always at the top!
Wonderful service from Host Stand to Server, Jean. Our request for a table in the bar was acknowledged and we were even given the corner table! Very knowledgeable and effective service, as always. The Prime Rib Thurmond special was very tasty. The pan seared scallops are still exquisite. We recognized others at t=he bar who dined there the last time we were at the Inn. So regulars are welcomed!
We were not pleased with Sara our server. She was rushed, served the food with the warming covers on the plates, forgot to bring the celebratory champagne, and made no effort to make us feel welcome. This is the first time we ever were moved to complain, but be assured that we will request a different table if we are presented with her as a server.
We truly do love that food and try to enjoy the Lake Elmo Inn at least once a month.
Nice place for a group lunch. Be sure to ask for the senior discount on Mondays. It was not offered to us, as we may have looked younger than 60, but three of us were retired and well past 60. It made the outing very affordable. We will be back!
I thought my steak was OK, not full of flavor. I would not recommend the wild rice.
Excellent food as always. One of our chive spots for a special occasion or just for a nicer dinner out.
We had the Elmo Sirloin and the New York Strip. Fantastic!!! Service with full descriptions of entrees and specials and a smile. A great date night!!
We had a fantastic experience. The food was absolutely wonderful. It was Valentine’s Day so they were quite busy but with that the waitresses were still on point and very attentive to everyone in the restaurant. The service was great.
Baked Potato was small and dry, steak and lobster tail were very good.
Went for Valentines day. Took a good 30 minutes to be seated even with a reservation. We had the prime rib, lobster, and shrimp meal. Lobster and shrimp were both severly overcooked. Luckily we arent seafood people and in a way were ok with them and still had ok flavor when dipped in sauces. The waitress and table help were very good though and water glasses stayed full the whole meal. Overall nice meal but may not recommend to anyone on a holiday occasion.
Aside from the long wait, even with a reservation, it was a good experience
Was a wonderful evening of celebrating our 33rd anniversary and Valentine’s Day!
