In an inviting and relaxing setting with wooden accents and an open air atmosphere, Lahaina Fish Co. serves Maui's best catches and produce. A delicious selection of starters, like the ahi poke tacos with fresh Hawaiian tuna, the seared pepper scallops with soy sake butter remind you that you are in paradise. Popular entrees include the macadamia nut-crusted mahi mahi and Lahaina Fish Co.'s award winning Hawaiian salt-crusted prime rib with sweet Maui onion mash. A wide variety of vegan entrees are also available, such as the luscious taro and lentil steak with edamame guacamole.
Try to nab a seat on the covered patio, where you can enjoy your Lahaina Fish Co. meal along with the beautiful Hawaiian breeze.
Food was very good! Ordered the moon fish daily catch, strawberry salad, chop salad and mixed seafood dinner which a great mix of seafood, and spinach with oyster sauce. They provided a nice card and small dessert for birthday, which was very nice. The view was amazing with an ocean view which was beautiful. The waiter was efficient, not friendly or engaging.
Wonderful meal and water-side dining for our family of 4 while on vacation. We went late to avoid the crowd and get a good table. 9p reservation on a Thursday evening was good timing for seating and service. I checked reviews and found on TripAdvisor. When I posted via social media, I had a few good comments from others who had been there. Pricey, but all Lahaina restaurants were. Hope to go again sometime in the future!
Dining was OK. My wife and I are on a very strict keto diet so it was difficult to really select much. They worked with us and we had a nice prime rib and lobster tail. As anything in Maui, very high prices abound... But in all it was OK.
Mixed up by order and was told it was my fault? Order came out warm/ cold. Manager made a half @-“: effort to make it right - whatever - save your money and go to the Lahaina
Grill and be wowed with the food and service!
The food and everything was tasty. I enjoyed the environment but I felt the service could’ve been much better.
We were treated like royalty on our 30th anniversary. Everything from food to service was perfect!
Everything was very good overall. Just got very unexpected heat/spice with the Island Fish Coconut Curry.
We had a great dinner overlooking the water. Fabulous food. Attentive service.
Good meal, but seems to have lost a little something from years past? Moon fish was tasty and macadamia crusted Nahi was good, but prices are steep.
This is a bit of a tourist trap. Our waiter was sort of goofy and inattentive, but he was nice. We dropped in for lunch. Based on the feel of the place, our expectations for the food were low. But truth be told, the food was solid. All the fish was extremely fresh. The Ahi sashimi was especially good. The fish of the day was simply grilled ono, and it was great. My son really enjoyed the the teriyaki fish as well. I think it's a solid place for lunch in Lahaina.
Lahaina Fish Co was very good. The swordfish was excellent and so was the Mahi Mahi. Servers were very friendly and food was prompty delivered. Would recommend the awesome view.
All week i was selecting fresh island fish from various restaurants in the area. I decided to do the tofu curry. It was so good I’m craving it days later. We sat right at the waters edge and fed bread to the fish below. The kids loved that. The steamer plater was small but good. The server was incredible. So friendly. My husband got a fresh fish special of ono and enjoyed it. We love places like mala ocean tavern and honu and the Lahaina fish co did not disappoint.
My husband and I both had a Mai Tai... not the best, but not the worst I have had and the fish and chips. The fish wa fresh and meaty, but slightly over cooked and the Panko crust was thick and overly browned. The view was very nice and the service was good.
Delicious and satisfying. Pleasantly surprised that all 4 of us had a wonderful entree, appetizer and dessert. The entree came with a side vegie and starch. All of the food was delicious not just the fish! Not the least bit disappointed!
Lahaina Fish Co was great. We were seated upstairs along the railing, so had perfect view as sun set. Exceptional wait staff; wish we could have brought these people and their Aloha attitude home with us to be Bay Area waitstaff!
Salads, main course and dessert were great. Bar prep was spot on.
I "must visit" on your Maui vacation! And please tell everyone from the hostess to the waitstaff, that the San Jose, CA couple say "aloha and thanks for the memories."
While the setting can’t be beat and the service was good, the food wasn’t as good as we’ve had in the past. The Mahi mahi over coconut rice was over cooked, although the rice was tasty. My wife and our friends all had the monchong fish and chips. It was quite bland. We’ll visit LFC again in hopes that the quality of the food returns to what we’ve had in the past.
Great food! The service by Charlotte was awesome! She went out of her way to accommodate us! David was our waiter the first visit. He was outstanding! I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone! You will not be disappointed !
The food is excellent, especially the MahiMahi
Excellent meal and service. Awesome view right over the water. Had fresh fish which was so good. Best bread around.
It’s one of our favorite restaurants here. The food is always great and the staff is very friendly. It’s a place we visit often. Don’t miss it!
Awesome food. Exceptional service. Great atmosphere. The Mac Nut crusted Mahi Mahi was amazing! If you want to dine right next to water this is the place. Centrally located on Front Street. This restaurant is a must every year we visit Maui and usually multiple times.
Probably the best meal we had in Maui- all local ingredients and great waterfront location. It was definitely worth it to have a reservation as we had a table right on the water. It was a bit pricey but definitely worth it for a special occasion!
After having a great meal here 12 years ago, returned for our first night in Maui on a recent 5-night stay. After an unusually long day of inter-island travel, we were not particularly hungry that night, so limited our order to a salad and a fish dish--were too tired to order alcohol. The fish dish (believe it was Opah) was excellent, the salad just okay. The big issue was the service. While the waiter made an excellent suggestion on how my fish should be prepared, he appeared disappointed in how little we ordered and never bothered to check on how our meals were until the time I asked for a check. Based on the attention he was lavishing on two other tables near us, it was evident that had we ordered more, we would have had a more pleasant meal.
Not even close to the best prime rib. Service was average. View was fantastic.
The view spectacular, the service was excellent, the quality of food was good. all an all a great experience.
Beautiful table over the ocean. Great ambiance and service. Food was outstanding. It was delicious food.
Great views, wonderful service, and really good drinks!
Food was great, service was fantastic & view was totally awesome!!
Love the location and view of the water. Had 3 different fish meals at our party and all were delicious.
Friendly service and comfortable surroundings . Great food.
Everything was excellent. Everyone on our 5 member group enjoyed their entrees. The service was excellent with the exception of the guy who filled water glasses and
passed out bread. He did his job but was rather brusque in his manner.
I had requested Oceanside if possible and our table was perfect. The bread and butter were great. The butter had some sea salt sprinkled on it which made a little go a long way.
Would definitely come back. This restaurant got it all right.
Food was incredible and service was great! One of the best places in Maui!
Loved the food and friendly wait-staff! We were seated right on the water. This is a place we go to when we visit Maui.
We went to try this place with two of our friends for Valentines Day. Food was well prepared and served promptly. Service was good. Restrooms were horrible. Always makes me wonder about the kitchen.
We decided to go for Valentines with my wife’s sister and her husband. The service was well below our expectations given the prices. The food was mediocre at best with the the mixed seafood dish a combination of tasteless and fishy. The only truly enjoyable food was the kale Caesar salad. We won’t be back and this was our third visit over the last few years. The waiter even took our bottle of wine away with wine left in the bottle. I guess he was thirsty!
Our reservation was ready when we arrived, about ten minutes early, they had a Rose for my wife and a nice placard at our table congratulating our ten year anniversary, which I really thought was a nice touch. The place smelled like musty, stringent decay, which was pretty off-putting, being that it was dinner time on valentines, I didn’t have the choice to leave since everything was booked. It was raining so I figured this being an old building it must have some issues. I had been here for lunch on a different day and hadn’t noticed the smell. We waited for a good 5 minutes before our waitress greeted us, which was a little annoying, but we were in no hurry so it didn’t really bother me and they were busy. The food is really good, we had the calamari, breaded strips cooked well. Lobster ceveiche, which was okay, really not a lot of flavor. Charred brocollini which was what you’d expect. We split the opah (moon fish) with a buerre blanch sauce atop mashed potatoes with a piece of bacon wrapped lobster on top, this was very good and tasty. Overall I would recommend this place, it is a tourist trap, but has solid food, and feels like you’re experiencing a part
Of old lahaina history when you eat here, it is right on the water which is also nice.
Ok due to the view. All of the restaurants along the water in that area are old and “tired” but we went for lunch for the view.
Incredibly disappointing all around
Lunch for two on Tuesday, February 13. 2018
Ordered two cocktails, lava flow and tropical margarita, both extremely sweet (yes, even for tropicals) and not very good
We split the farm salad and an order of fish and chips
Salad came very quickly. Greens were fine, but it was literally swimming in dressing
Still no drinks at this point however
Finally, after 20 minutes drinks arrived
Fish a chips were dry and tasted like frozen fish sticks of my childhood, fries were soggy and limp and tasteless
Server never checked in with us to see if the food was acceptable or the order accurate- next time we saw him was to drop off the bill
Other than the view, there really is no reason to eat here
Food was amazing and reasonable, staff was very accommodating, views are stunning and it was a most memorable evening! We came several times; taking advantage of the bar on an evening we could not get a reservation. Thoroughly enjoyed everything!
Amazing sunset dinner with wonderful service from the entire staff.
