    Food and drinks were excellent. Service was super fast even for a busy Saturday night. Room was slightly dark. I could see other people from other tables struggling to read their menus. Food was pricy but very fresh and delicious. I would definitely recommend Lago east bank to someone looking for a nice date spot/ special occasion dinner.

    The food was amazing except for the crabcakes (2 orders at the table) they were very fishy and unflavored. Our waiter JOSH was OUTSTANDING!! drinks were perfect. Ambience was great. It was a bit hard to read menus in the dark but we made do! Overall AMAZING PLACE AND FOOD! ☆☆☆

    Cool architecture. Friendly service. The food was good. Polenta very good, short ribs very good, Brussel sprouts very good. Salad fresh and very big. I was a disappointed in the entree that drew me there online. Lobster Gnocchi. Sounded awesome. It was just OK.

    When we went, it was for an anniversary. We are vegetarian, so options for higher quality dinning is a challenge but this place really showed up. The Vegan Wellington was fantastic, and the pasta was good. We were seated quickly (since I had a reservation which I recommend), but the traffic near the door was quite heavy, so it was noisy when larger groups were coming in. Obviously, simple things like asking for a table away from the door would have eliminated such issue. All in all, very memorable evening. We’ll probably be going back in the future. I would be prepared to spend over 100 dollars if you want a ‘full’ dinning experience. Well worth the money though.

    Lago is always a great time. Food is delicious, lobster gnocchi’s a must get & the short rib is very tasty and super lean. Fabio & Nicole are consistently present and genuinely kind, definitely a bonus seeing them. Our server, Leslie, was extremely patient with our party of 16 & smiled the entire time

    We tried Lago before heading to a playhouse square performance. The service, food (lobster gnocchi and tiramisu) and drinks were excellent. We will eat here again.

    I am a HUGE fan of Lago East Bank- It's where I took my fiancé for our first date. While I love the updates inside, something's changed with the food. It's just not the same quality we were used too... Overall a great place and I am sure they're working on correcting this. Our server was so so kind and did a wonderful job. The food just needs stepped up a bit.

    Charge for bread?!?!? Wine not so good and EXPENSIVE

Every order of bread placed gets a portion of the profit sent directly to the funding of this amazing organization that empowers children in underserved neighborhoods!     Our waitress was attentive. We had the meatballs for an app and they were amazing! My guy had the lasagna and it was big. It tasted great and had lots of cheese. I had the lobster gnocchi. It had a good amount of lobster and the cream sauce was soooooo good! The gnocchi was probably the best I’ve had. We had a great experience and didn’t feel rushed!

    Disappointing meal tonight - scallops undercooked, lamb overcooked. Pasta dishes were lacking in flavor. Price seems excessive for portions and quality. Service was fine, but seemed the meal was rushed.

    A wonderful dinner and absolutely perfect service. The ambience is really cool, the drinks were made perfectly, and the food was amazing. Highly recommend the fried moz for an appetizer! We greatly enjoyed our dinner experience and will be back.

    Brunch, loud music for 10 AM. Menu is unique so we wanted to try. Unfortunately they didn’t have a “traditional” breakfast plate. We had a party of 6, mac n cheese had no flavor, meat was dry for the hash, the rest of the crowd was too nice to say anything about their choices, we didn’t mention to the place because we are not that type.

    We have had many of the menu items that Lago offers. All are always fabulously delicious and we have always had a great meal and experience. It is a modern, urban setting in downtown Cleveland with friendly staff and servers. We would recommend dining here or even hanging out at the bar/lounge area.
