Lago - Bellagio
Not a great value, but good food in a very scenic venue.
Lago never disappoints. Service, food and drinks always outstanding.
Anniversary meal , well looked after . Perfect venue for the occasion .
Staff were excellent
Very nice restaurant, right behind the fountains. Reserve table on the veranda for a specially romantic event. Food is good, but ambiance is excellente ! Thank you for a wanderfull 30th wedding anniversary celebration !!!
Small plate for Italian food. Very nice views of the Bellagio Fountains. Fantastic service.
Lago knows it has the Bellagio Fountains as it’s main feature and fails to put forth any additional effort. The food was bland and uninspired. While the waitstaff was attentive, they could not make up for the lackluster food. Noise level made conversation difficult to impossible. Fountains were beautiful and we did indulge in nostalgia by purchasing a photo.
I know this is Tapas, but in order for the 6 of us to feel full, we had to order a LOT of plates and ended up with over a $500 bill... waaaaaay too expensive, and they never even wished my daughter a happy birthday even though she had a headband on that said so, and I had made a special note on my reservation that it was. They did seat us with a good view of the fountains, but pretty much anywhere in the forward area has that.
We were going to get desserts, but we were already frustrated with the portion to cost ratio after the meal.
Also if you have anyone in your party with an alternative look, don’t expect the photographer to come by. Better yet, save your money and skip the whole thing. Other than the fountains, it was a bust.
Everything was great except the wine steward pulled a scam on us. We have finished 2 bottles of Amarone at $177 per bottle. We ordered another bottle. The wine steward said they didn't have any left, but he would go to search around. He came back 15 min later and showed me the 3rd bottle. He opened it behind the scene and poured into a decanter. He immediately poured into our glasses still with a bit left over from the other 2 bottles except one of the guests who still had half a glass of the 2nd bottle left. We tasted the wine and it was a bit sweeter than the first two bottles. A few of us then had a sip of the 2nd bottle wine from the guest mentioned above. The 3rd bottle wine was definitely different. So I asked the busboy to get me the empty bottles. He could only find two empty bottles. We then asked the waiter to look for the 3rd empty bottle. He could not find it either. It was amazing that they scammed us for something like that. I believe the wine steward would not just pulled such a scam on us. He must have the authorization from the manager or owner. It was a shame.
We were seated in the lounge, partly because we were a little late for our reservations and partly because the last seating in the main dining room ends at 10:15 and we came at 10:16. Unfortunately the lounge was loud and all you could smell was the cigarette smoke from the casino. The waitress was fast, but she didn’t really explain the menu and the entire party just ordered main entrees. The chicken and veal was good, but I don’t recommend the cod. The cod dish was very plain and not worth the $45 in my opinion. The creme brûlée on the other hand was delicious.
Basically the food came out late for some of us so it was awkward seeing a handful of people with food. The food quality was less than par given the price we paid. Lastly, the menu said one thing and we got something else...which was resolved after talking to the manager. Just giving background - we were a group of 8 people on a work trip.
We enjoyed a date night with our friends, while celebrating our first anniversary. Everything was great!
Th experience was amazing because we were sat outside over the Bellagio fountains, with a view of the Eiffel Tower and the Strip! The server explained that the menu was tapas-style, so portions were small and be ordered family style. Overall, for the price, the food a bit too expensive for us, but the ambiance made up for it 10/10
We were really pleasantly surprised! Not pretentious at all fantastic food great service a real variety of people at the restaurant. This will be a repeat for sure!
One of the best places to soak in Vegas. The outdoor patio is a must on a Sunday so that you can see the fountain show. I love the dessert buffet. And they get an A+ for accommodating 14 guest. Thank you Lago.
Best location for viewing fountain performance.
Brunch is excellent, too.
We want to come again here.
We've had dinner with my parents. They celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary and all the people at Lago made sure we have a great experience. We got a table at the window with the best view of the Bellagio fountains! Thanks everyone - it's been a very evening for my family.
We had a wonderful experience at Lago. The view of the fountains is fantastic. The music in the restaurant is loud, but didn’t detract from our good time.
We had a lovely dinner here! We requested a terrace seat to view the fountain and we were not disappointed! Lovely food, great service, front row seat for the fountains. This was absolutely a highlight of our trip to Vegas! I would highly recommend dining here and intend to return on my next visit to Vegas!
Our waiter was great. Helpful in guiding us on what to order. Food & view was excellent.
Really great food, and a terrific staff. Very friendly lovely cocktails.
No table outside as requested in the reservation.
We did not stay...
Come on guys... let us know if this is not possible!
This is simple
The view of the Bellagio fountain show was spectacular, topped only by the quality of the food and the sincere attentiveness of our waiter.
We dined outdoors and was able to watch the fountains. Food was very delicious and drinks very strong in the best way!
Our waitress was awesome, the view was amazing and the food was delicious - moderately expensive but very good!
Great ambience and view of the fountains. Prompt professional service and the small plate menu is great for when you have multiple stops planned.
Awful service and terrible bland food. Never go back
Bellagio was easy to get into and out of, which was a great start. Finding the restaurant inside was a little of a challenge, but not painstaking. The hostess was great and our seats were outstanding-- with a view of the fountains. It was definitely noisy (I read a previous review where they could not stand the noise), but it was not unbearable. We had a decent conversation going all night. The sommelier was friendly and answered all of my questions. We picked a nice pinot noir that went well with the Italian cuisine. You don't get big plates-- like entrees where you have to take something home no matter what. These were small plates which are meant to be shared. They come out fast. You can order more as the night goes on. The flavors and presentations were OUTSTANDING. It's fast paced-- but they do not rush you out. You can sit and enjoy the drinks, the company and the view. It is pricey, so bring the gold card.
After reading many reviews, I knew the most important factor for me would be the atmosphere and view. The food was acceptable when balanced against my primary interest, seeing the water show and from the patio.
Great food and service, somewhat noisy and too bright
Great food. Everything is fresh and taste good. The most amazing view in Vegas. right in front of the show
My girlfriends and I went to lago this weekend and it was lovely! We were able to get seated right by the fountains. We had a beautiful view. Definitely worth it. The risotto was great!
We had a fantastic experience at Lago. The food and service were top notch, and the atmosphere (music, fountain views, energy level, etc.) made it very memorable for our group of 4. Would definitely go back and recommend to friends.
Perfect date night on the patio overlooking the Bellagio Fountain. We had wonderful service, food, drinks and dessert! I would highly recommend this restaurant. Order small plates as you decide how hungry you are. The cannelloni was fabulous.
Everything we had was delicious, but the standouts were the lobster gnocchi, caprese salad, black forest cake, after-dinner coffee...and the housemade limincello.
Excellent hostess, excellent server and good food. will be back
I felt very hurried. Will not go back. The food was ok?
I order scallops and it’s had some smells. Cocktail was too strong. I like the waitress, she was very nice and cute. I was disappointed the foods. They can do better. Too bad, all the staff are very nice but foods were not met my expectations. I wouldn’t go back to the restaurant.
Food was good, but not great. Very overpriced!
We made a reservation and requested seating on the outdoor patio, but it was a little too hot to sit out there so they accommodated us, moved us inside to where we had a great View next to the floor-to-ceiling glass windows of The Fountains of Bellagio. The food is absolutely fantastic!! The plates are served in smaller portions so that you can enjoy more variety... So we ordered a few appetizers to share, and still had room for our main meal AND dessert. We were celebrating a birthday, and they were very sweet & low-key with the candles on both desserts that we ordered. We went to Lago last year, and again this year and I think we enjoyed it even more this year (2019).
