It was so smelly and dirty inside, we walked in looked around and walked out. I wouldn’t even want to drink a glass of water there for fear of getting a virus or worse. I would have gave them a grade of minus ten if possible. Great website horrible place Worse Mother’s Day ever.

High Points - Water view in Central NJ is rare air. The order accuracy, presentation and food quality was good however...we will not be returning... Low Points - Server needs to be trained or retrained, along with the hostess. Presented with a well organized and low priced 35-40 wine list, and I ordered a bottle...after 5-7 mins the server returned saying we don't have most of the wines in fact we only have 6 (why would the hostess and the server not know this?), after deciding on a bottle the server brought 3 wine glasses for 4 adults, then he struggled to open the bottle of wine and poured it - all over the place - sloppy. If there were specials - we never heard them. The menu is setup poorly, all of their offerings are on one page but without sections for appetizers, salads, soups and main courses. The server never tried to upsell us on the a'la carte items (money out of his and the venue's pockets). My son order a burger with fries and no ketchup to be found...took 5 mins to get ketchup for a dish that should come with it. And lastly the band...no sure who wants to listen to the drummer testing his drums, or the singer mic checking his/her mic at 7 pm on Saturday night - but it was very annoying. I understand they need to setup - but do that on their time in the afternoon not at the prime restaurant time of the week. We will not be returning.

Dining here was one of the poorest restaurant experiences I’ve had in a while. The inside of the restaurant did not look very clean on modernized. You really cannot tell if it was a restaurant or a club. Our server said that the restaurant is recently under new management and will be redesigning so hopefully that will be an improvement. The food was tasteless and I could’ve made it at home.

Lago is great. This is a perfect spot for a relaxing lunch when you're in central New Jersey. Igor was awesome. He provided top-notch friendly service.

Our waiter was terrific and the food was very good. We were looking for a good place to meet up with long lost friends and be able to have conversation while enjoying good food. Lago was the perfect place all around. Definitely will be back.

Great place for good food, drinks, dancing and live music. Very inviting in the Spring and Summer months when you can enjoy dinner on the patio overlooking the lake. I will be a frequent customer for a long time.
