Very nice hostess, bar tender and waiters!
Enjoyed the food! Had the chicken salad plate! Delicious
Lafayette Village Grill consistently delivers great food and service. It's definitely one of our go-to's for a nice meal out.
The homemade potato chips were old and over done. The Thai lettuce wraps were not Thai, they were chicken chunks with cabbage in an Asian flavor marinade. Poor substitute. My date’s chicken cordon bleu sandwich was marginal. Basically bar food that was not that good. And the bill was over fifty for two people. With no alcohol. Will not be back.
We had reservations. We got seated and 35 minutes later no one had even checked on us or stopped by. We made eye contact with a few and kept thinking they would come. We left and won’t be going back. We ended up at a restaurant next door. They had amazing food and service! I’m amazed this place is still in business.
Sat outside (never went in). Server was nice, but hard to track down. He was wearing running shorts (I expected more at a pub w/ upscale prices). I’ll try it again sometime, but won’t be running back. Wish menu included calorie counts.
The greeting was friendly and our server was very good. The Paleo Burger and Black Bean Burgers were excellent! The onion soup and other items were very good. The chili was just ok. Wouldn’t order that again. Not too busy or loud and nice to watch part of the game.
Much more casual than the website made it appear. Nice staff.
The food was just terrible! Can’t believe how this place has gone downhill! Less than a year ago the food was great!
The French onion soup was a weak, flavorless broth with a big blob of cheese, the waffle was stale, and my husband’s egg and mushroom skillet was over cooked and very dry. Not the birthday brunch we’d expected.
Very nice for girls nite out.
They did not have my reservation via open table but seated me anyway. Generous portion. Great flavor Will be back!
The food tasted very good however I ordered my burger without pickles & it came with pickles, took about an hour to get food once ordered & service was poor. Needed napkins & ranch dressing but waitress never came back to check in.
The food was great, however the service was poor. We had long waits to take our orders, bring beverages, ask for checks.
Eventually after being there for much too long - waiting to pay, we walked inside to the hostess station to close out our bill.
My assumption had been that they were understaffed, like many restaurants in the area…. But alas we saw at least 4 employees kind of wandering around and chatting, in a mostly empty restaurant.
Nice bar and comfortable seating. Excellent scampi. Nice choice in red wines.
Food not particularly good. Too many other good places to eat to recommend.
Love the apps! Food selection and quality is great. I always know what to expect and they hit it every time.
We love Lafayette Grill but it was so crowded for brunch that the service was very slow. They cater to a huge outside seating area, so sometimes it feels you get forgotten when you sit inside.
Quick seating - great food and service.
Good solid service and food. A good atmosphere for lunch with a friend.
Our first and last visit. Service was slow, food was slower. The appetizer came out with the food and it was just fries to nibble on. I ordered chicken lettuce wraps and the plate had obviously been under the heat lamp as the lettuce was wilted. The chicken was terrible, tiny pieces of cubed chicken mixed with a little shredded carrots and lots of shredded lettuce, and the flavors were nonexistent. When we told the server she just shrugged. Yikes. Terrible restaurant.
Nice bar Nice location. The food was good, and good service.
Food was delicious, service was great, will return.
We had a wonderful evening at Lafayette Grill!! The food was delicious and the service was over the top! The only thing we felt was a little subpar were the drinks. They were very weak. I ordered three vodka seltzer’s with a premium vodka ( and pricing) and they were not very good. They were in a tiny glass and were quite weak. . I was disappointed in my drinks but everything was really good. Maybe stick to wine and beer. Would not order liquor drinks there again.
Fantastic meal and great service. I recommend them keeping the brownie sundae on their regular menu
Great service, great food, good atmosphere . We are coming back.
My husband and I went for a date night. We were pleasantly surprised with the menu offerings. We started with a grilled burrata salad, followed by a pancetta and fontina flatbread, we split the filet with truffles twice baked potato and polished everything off with a warm chocolate brownie a la mode. It was raining the night we dined so we ate inside but their patio overlooking the courtyard looked nice.
We love coming to Lafayette Village Grill. The regular menu is a great variety and they have specials and soups that change daily. Wonderful atmosphere and servers are great!
Food was absolutely horrible nothing cooked to order and from the server to manager no one took any action to make us come back. In fact the manager told us he had heard all the feedback before and acted like there was nothing he could do…the chef and GM left and it’s very evident. Do not waste your time or money
fantastic food, outstanding service, COVID safe environment!
Great food, enjoyable, choices on the menu had nice twists to everyday favorites
Server was exceptional! Great food as always.
Love Village Grill. Never disappointed. Great Menu. Food is Awesome!!
Great variety of options, many calorie conscious and all delishous
Food was not bad but not great. Nothing really memorable. What was memorable was how epically awful the cocktails were. Tasted like simple syrup mixed with flavor packets from a cocktail kit.
Enjoyed lunch here. Nice selection of drinks and food. Staff was friendly.
Great variety on the menu super impressed, we'll be back!
Great food and service. Spacing was gracious and we felt comfortable considering COVID-19.
Food was really good. It was VERY loud, one table in particular. We skipped dessert to get out quickly.
Excellent food, great staff, friendly environment!
This was my first visit to the Lafayette Village Grill. Everything was great and and enjoyable. A lot of restaurants are cutting back on service and quality during this Corona virus, however our restaurant staff were pleasant and seemed eager to help with our questions and meet our needs as diners. The food was delicious and plentiful. Two of the three of us there ended up with enough leftovers from our lunch to have another wonderful meal later at home.
