Nice location and very elegant, but not very prompt service. This is the largest staff doing an inefficient job with three tables on a quiet morning. There is more pretense than quality here. Try somewhere else for a nice meal.

Great late lunch in DC in a unique ambiance and specialty gourmet food for connoisseurs.

for weekend breakfast, wouldn't bother making a reservation for 7 am because they're not open then, service good, ask for Jose, grits and biscuits my fave. Ask for window.

Pre Les Miserable dinner, followed by a stroll across the White House park to Nationals Theatre. Service outstanding, food exceptional, decor classic.

Very attractive and fancy dining. Great food. A bit expensive, but worth it for a special dinner.

We enjoyed a perfect Christmas eve family dinner. The setting was lovely, the food was superb and the staff were all wonderful. Plus it was possible to have a conversation!!

Many thanks. We will return for other special events.

Beautiful hotel and iconic locale. Concierge, who greeted us on the way in, was marvelous. Made it an extra special visit.

Has significantly improved since our last visit 1 year ago. Dover sole, while expensive, is worth the price. Other dishes are also very good. Wine list has expanded its selection of mid priced bottles.

We had a lovely holiday dinner here with family. We had an early dinner as we had an infant in arms with us. They could not have been kinder or more accommodating towards us and making our dinner relaxing and pleasurable even with a young baby along. One of our favorite restaurants in Washington.
