Loved it ..Highly recommend it
My server was great and so was the food. Unfortunately most of the patio was closed down due to imminent rain (didn't rain for at least 3-4 hours that day....I was already tucked in my bed when it started raining)The hostess couldn't be bothered to move from the outside bar. I saw patron after patron come walk all the way from the front entrance, through the restaurant and out to the patio without as much as a "can I help you?" or "do you have a reservation?" They just stood out there like idiots until servers would point them to the bar where the girl tapping away on her cellphone couldn't even be bothered to look up. She wouldn't even move from the bar, she just leaned there customers having to walk down steps through other patrons to get to her. Totally unacceptable. When I asked to move tables after 2 people had just gotten up I was told no, no reason just no. Even though I had a reservation. My experience would've been so much better if there was a hostess that actually wanted to be at work that day. This was a week day in the afternoon not a busy weekend or Thursday night. Sorry Laduree, do better.
Beautiful garden atmosphere, tasty food, waiter was super friendly (for NYC)!
This location was great but heads up if you go on a Mon/Tuesday.
The kitchen closes at 5:30 and the bar at 6pm. I feel like the last reservation should be at 4pm not 5, otherwise you have to rush. We ended up going someplace else after.
I would go again, as the service and ambiance were very good.
Food was delicious and staff was so friendly! Will definitely be going back!
Nice experience overall, but they play incredibly loud music, even in the otherwise very peaceful terrace . Uncalled for, this is a restaurant, not a bar (very un-Parisian). We asked for a working heater several times and didn't get one. We mentioned (on the online reservation too) that this was a birthday celebration, but never got a candle on our desert. expected more for the price
I didn't know quite what to expect when I booked Laduree for dinner, but everything from the food, to the drinks, to the ambiance was excellent. The secret Bagatelle menu on the weekend is next level. What an incredible vibe this place is. Highly recommend!
Went on a Saturday and sat in the garden. Ordered only drinks and pastries. You really can’t go wrong with them! Everything was lovely! Our waiter was very attentive and even gave us macaroons for free because one of the pastries we ordered wasn’t available
The ambiance is beautiful as always, but the service is TERRIBLE. We ordered our drinks and desserts within 5 minutes of sitting down. Right off the bat, the waiter informed me that "all of the pink desserts" were sold out. I was sad, since I wanted something rose flavored, but I ordered something else. I then watched "pink desserts" come out to other tables for the next 20 minutes. That was not a huge deal, just annoying that the waiter seemingly didn't know what was going on.
The worst part of our experience was that it took 50 MINUTES for our 4 drinks to arrive. We received our macarons within about 10 minutes (simple, seeing that all they had to do was place 4 cookies on a plate). Then proceeded to wait another 40 MINUTES before we got our drinks. We ordered 2 cocktails, a glass of champagne and a cup of black coffee. Nothing complicated. All the other tables around us, even people who sat down after us, received their drinks. Not to mention, the waiter didn't even refill our waters in those 50 minutes. Then they brought my fiance hot chocolate instead of black coffee, and when we told him we didn't order hot chocolate, he made an exasperated sign, stormed off, and came back in 30 seconds with hot coffee that he slammed down on the table.
I asked the waiter if something could be done to remedy our experience, and he said no. Mindblown.
The moral of the story is that this place is beautiful and insta-worthy, but for a $125 bill for only cookies and 4 drinks, you'd expect better service. It's clear that they know people will come, so they don't really care about patrons' experiences.
Love it there
I’ve always had amazing experiences at Ladurée. Even way back when it was Barolo. My server Greg was the most unprofessional passive aggressive server I’ve ever experienced there. I figured he must be new to restaurant and this wasn’t ever addressed with the manager before. His level of service was definitely below the restaurants usual magnificent standards. He made my dining experience very uncomfortable.
Amazing time getting tea with my mom
I used to love this place but unfortunately, it's not the same anymore. The staff is so unprofessional. We waited like 15 min and the menu was not offered, so I just got up and got it from the table next to us. Then the water came with a dead bug in it!!! Food, in general, is so mediocre which kinda disappointing for such a place. We hoped that dessert will blow our minds, BUT! The one we ordered just killed everything it was at least 2 days old because when we tried to cut into it, we couldn't it was dry as cardboard. What a SHAME, because it's a famous “dessert place” for God's sake! Idk where management is looking but that place needs a better staff like Yesterday!
It doesnt matter how early I make a reservation, staff always tells me every time they are about to close down, always trying to have table finish early for their dinner set up.
Laduree never disappoints, from the drinks to the food. It is always a good idea, especially the secret garden menu
The service was very slow. They seemed short-staffed.
Love this place! All their items are Instagram worthy and definitely delicious. We had the avocado toast which was very peculiar and left us surprised. We definitely had a sugar rush with the all the desserts!
I ordered the chocolate hazelnut french toast and a couple other sides to go with. The waiter brings me a french toast with maple syrup. I tell him it’s not what I ordered and then he goes gets the waitress and she tells me that that is what I ordered when I even had my friend there we know I ordered the correct thing. I knew what I wanted so why would I say something else? But she just stared at me saying she can’t do anything about it and so I tell her it’s fine and I ended up having to order what I originally wanted and still paid for the food we didn’t touch because it’s not what we wanted. She came back and gave us 2 extra macarons for the mix up but it’s still frustrating that I had to pay for something I didn’t even order. Don’t think I would come back. It’s never happened the last few times I went. She had a little bit of attitude when telling me and was shoving her notepad in my face saying that’s what she wrote down so she wasn’t going to fix the issue which was also unnecessary in my opinion.
Always a great experience, enhanced cleanliness and table spacing. Still my favorite weekend breakfast/brunch spot.
I celebrated my birthday here on saturday. my server, Blanca, was so sweet! she sung me happy birthday and was very friendly. very cute, quiet, and classy. highly recommend!!!
Great experience. Food was good.
Great food & drinks.
The idea was amazing . The food was amazing. But the inside of the restaurant is a dressed up cafeteria . You cannot get high tea without pre ordering . Service was not good .
The outdoor area is gorgeous. I had a reservation - it was empty outside - they sat us inside .... next to a loud table full of men drinking 6 to 8 bottles of wine for lunch .. tea was good . Food was good .
Unfortunately, the table that we were seated at was extremely cold, situated to the right of the rear patio door.... each time a patron opened the door tje room would become very cold and the breeze rested directly at our table.
Otherwise the experience was interesting.
It’s nice if you get a table in the garden, but if seated inside, it’s just not the same. The food is always good, but not at that price. Service this time was just ok.
Unfortunately my choice of Croque Monsieur was a bad one. It was terrible! The bread was super dry with almost no ham or cheese.
Ordered a chicken club sandwich and a salmon club sandwich. Didn’t think those could ever be bad but wow, don’t go here doe the food. Stuck to bakery only.
The service was very slow, even though we saw a many service people walking around the restaurant. Several times the item we ordered was not available but nobody told us, we ended up waiting for over an hour and it was lunch time
Delicious food. Nice ambient . will definitely come back !
Service was super super slow we had to wait 20 mins just to get water
Food was great and staff was polite and nice. However, it took 30 minutes to get my meal. Then I asked the person who brought me food 3 times if I could place an order for coffee and dessert and each time he said the waiter would come to take my order and it took another 30 minutes for someone to come take my order. There was no one approaching me or coming to my table to refill water, ask if I needed anything, ask how the food turned out, etc. I went at 11:30am and it was pretty quiet for the first 30 minutes before it started getting busy and I just didn’t find the staff to be attentive or checking in during my meal which was disappointing
It’s always amazing
Very pretty place!! The waiters are amazing and the food are delicious!:)
Nice experience for a quiet(er) Sunday brunch. Very cute.
They didn’t seat us nor call to say they had not enough outdoor seats to accommodate reservations. Rude not friendly
Food was excellent and the ambiance was fantastic
Amazing ambiance, great servers, not so great reservations manager
Food was just okay. Had a Caesar salad 🥗 and a green tea. Everything else was great as far as the rest of the experience.
Outstanding brunch spot
Absolutely loved it. Always amazing quality
