The food was fantastic and the server was very friendly (she was a good sport and bore with me when I butchered the names of the dishes with my awful grasp of French).

It’s a lovely place and quiet enough to have conversations with friends without having to raise your voice. The only drawback was how close the tables were to one another; that made it a bit difficult to maneuver.

Went to the one in Paris so we wanted to try this one. Food was good although the menu was limited Not very French for a French restaurant Service wasn't great. I had a 630 reservation and apparently the shift change happened at seven and no one told us our waiter left

Service was absolutely awful from beginning to end. When we arrived we were told that their computer system was down and we had to wait 15 minutes to get a table. Then it took our waitress another 10 minutes to get us a glass of water. Our table was wobbly. I asked for a side of salad (to go with my club sandwich) and was brought french fries. Waitresses seemed generally overwhelmed and confused.

Loved Laudree SoHo. It was beautiful, the service was great, the food and drinks were amazing. We had a great time. We ate lunch (which was delicious) and then enjoyed some tea and dessert. The macaroons are the best I’ve ever had, even better than most macaroons in France. The blackcurrant violet, rose and pistachio macaroons are by far my favorite. I would suggest sitting outside, it makes you feel as though you are at a cafe in Paris.

Went for lunch on the recommendation from a friend....Terrible service, great ambience in the outdoor garden area and the croque monsieur was amazing! We were seated and waited 10 mins for someone to come by and ask for a drink order then another 15 mins to get our coffee and water... seriously 15 mins for coffee and water?? It wasn’t even busy at this time, it was 11:45 and there were maybe 7 tables seated outside. I even had to ask a second time for both and was told the beverages were on the way. The table next to us ordered lemonade and their food arrived before their drinks did! The croque monsieur was delicious ham and cheese wrapped in brioche dough and baked until the cheese was perfectly melted and just a bit crunchy, came with a salad and fries, didn’t even touch either one because the croque monsiuer was so good. Cool place to go but be prepared for terrible service

There wasnt any desserts left when we reached for dinner at 630 pm. Such a letdown as laduree is reputed for its desserts. But the food is awesome, the environment is romantic and cozy, quiet and charming. The staff knew mu disapppointment over the lack of desserts and offered me macaroons. Kudos to the staff.

Nice look... exotic and varied. Not crowded--especially in the indoor seating. Outdoor area (where I wasn't) looked nice from a distance and was much busier. Service was attentive.

But they seemed not to have most of what was on their menu, and the prices were outrageous. What they did have was decidedly forgettable.

So, they are set up to be a bar (I paid $9.00 for a Brooklyn beer), and the (sizeable) restaurant is just decoration.

The setting was lovely for a brunch. Try the croissants. The eggs Benedict and omelet were okay. While the table setting and coffee cups are lovely, our group would have been more in favor of refills rather than having the table cleared before macaroons. The server loves the company and was very enthusiastic as she shared her favorites.

This little gem is a classic and worth a visit. Their garden dining and bar area are elegant, casual, and fun all at the same time. And then of course their are those ridiculously gorgeous french pastries....

Laduree is all about the setting and treats. It is a very nicely decorated restaurant and we sat outside which is lovely with the trees and lights. The food is just ok in my opinion especially for the price. The drinks were good. My daughter is 12 and they weren't willing to change a dish to accommodate her so she ended up ordering off the kids menu. Dessert is served in a lovely way.

I took my daughter for her birthday, we had breakfast reservations. It was pricey, but that was expected & planned for. The decor inside was amazing, the patio was beautiful, and the bakery counter/display was perfect. We loved the selection of food at breakfast, and the food was delicious. The wait staff was attentive, courteous, and friendly. Likewise, the staff in the front bakery area was knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. Overall it was the highlight of our NYC trip for my daughter, and the perfect was to celebrate. DO NOT miss this place!

Loved this place it was absolutely beautiful and the wait staff was very professional. A greeter came by every 20 or so minutes to make sure that we were having a great experience and the servers spoke french and were well accommodating to the guests. They were the best part of the experience. Not to mention the view. Can't wait to come back.

I had a 5 pm dinner and was able to sit in the outdoor garden. The food and drinks were phenomenal. And dessert was even better. I've visited for the macaroons before, but this was my first time for dinner. They even have happy hour at the outdoor bar with specials, which I'm planning with friends.

Also on a positive note, our server was extremely friendly and helpful with all our questions.

Laduree was great, but there was some confusion about their Afternoon Tea menu. Since there were no time restrictions visible on their site or on OpenTable, it was frustrating to find that we were too early for Afternoon Tea. This was made worse by the fact that the tea times given, were not bookable on OpenTable for any day. I had been searching for months prior to our reservation for these afternoon times.

The environment is second-to-none. It's like being transported back to Paris. The front tearoom is a picture postcard featuring the famous Laduree Macarrons...
The middle dining room is beautiful and very comfortable and the back out-door garden dining is like few you will find in NYC....
The food is very good and the prices are unusually reasonable for this kind of NYC eatery..especially given its location in oh-so-trendy SoHo.
Of the food we tried, the only disappointment was the"Lobster roll".
American are used to a full "hot dog roll" serving of fresh lobster...this one was served in 3 mini sliders with a very little amount of meat that was slightly undercooked...I suppose it's caveat emptor..stick with what the French do well and are known for...French food..not Nantucket food....having said that, the shared starter crab-cakes are A+ (at a quite reasonable price) and of course, the very best omelet and croque monsieur this side of the pond.
I'm gonna make this a regular haunt..especially on a beautiful day at lunch or brunch!

We were a couple for brunch on a Thursday. The place is gorgeous, usual Laduree style + beautiful outdoor / garden tables and a bar. Good food as expected. Nevertheless, the service was terrible. The place was not crowded at all (no one inside and barely six tables with couples outside) and still they managed to take forever to bring our order (I mean, the order arrived, but sadly it was wrong and we had to order again what they had forgotten). Basically we spent half of our time waiting for the check. Staff (and they are plenty) just disappears and costumers are left waiting. Too bad that in the US tipping is mandatory in restaurants. If we were in Europe, no way I would have left a cent for the type of service we received. They might as well keep living out of Laduree’s fame and delicious pastries, but there is a lot of room for improvement.

Absolutely horrible service! They are rude and disrespectful. They brought our teas 15 mins after we ordered (after bringing wrong drinks over to us twice) in take out containers even though we were sitting on the front cafe area. No milk or sugar. We asked for it and the guy at the counter rolled his eyes at us. After paying these prices, that's how they treat customers. Never going to this location again. They are ruining the iconic Laduree name.
