Highly recommend reservations! Beautiful place, delicious food. Service was a little slow, but always friendly.
The food was great and the experience was so fun. The service was slow and not terribly friendly. It seemed like some patrons who were more well known got more attention. We waited 20 minutes for our check.
My friend and I made Open Table reservations for Laduree SOHO because we were going to New York to see a show for the day to celebrate her birthday. Although the restaurant is not really near the Theater District, we chose to go there for afternoon tea because my friend had been dying to visit one of the Lauduree locations (she had heard of it before- I had not).
The Laduree website details a $49 Afternoon Tea that runs from 3-6pm. When we got there, the menu stated that tea was $39, but only runs till 5pm. And when the waiter came to the table, he told us that tea really just runs until they run out of sandwiches (which he said is normally in the early afternoon). So, we ended up just ordering off of the dinner menu. The food was fine, but nothing spectacular- definitely didn't need to travel across state lines, and across New York City for it. And, incidentally, they were out of most of their desserts as well.
In terms of service, I wouldn't say it was bad- but it was definitely disorganized. Multiple times, we had food brought to our table that did not belong to us.
Overall, we were pretty disappointed because we were expecting a more special experience. I think Laduree should definitely update their website with correct information.
Another fabulous afternoon spent in a Parisian atmosphere in the heart of Soho. Almost as good as being at the original! In the photo are the signature Ispahan with rose and raspberry and the chocolate Elysee. SO GOOD!
Really authentic French feel. Some may say touristy as the clientele but I didn’t care. Loved the organic chicken and omelet. Service was friendly and did not rush you at all.
Me encanto la atención

A great experience as always, the service was absolutely outstanding! The asparagus risotto was lovely, as were the macarons. Will definitely be back soon.
Service was really bad. Problem was not with our server but the overall service- cold coffee, unclean cups, wrong orders, overcharges and so on.
Loved the decor , the food, location , and authenticity .
The band playing jazz was awesome and made the experience worth the visit.
Need a update! The place looks decadent and the service inexperiente.
Would like to have had more frequent coffee refills- overall food quality was excellent!
Went here for my daughter's first time to NYC. She absolutely adored Laduree! I honestly believe it was the highlight of the entire trip for her. The Le Petit Dejeuner Laduree was perfect for her to try a variety of house specialty croissants, as well as the hot chocolate and orange juice.
Beautiful atmosphere. Sit on the patio for sure. Brunch is amazing.
It was mediocre. We had plans for tea and open table booked us from 1-3:30. The server was fine with starting tea early, but did inform us that it began at 2. There was nothing really wrong, but compared to the Laudree in Paris and Vancouver. It’s was just OK.
They were very accommodating for a special surprise birthday and helped us surprise the birthday girl. Beautiful garden. Food was outstanding.
The front desk lost our reservation, even though it was confirmed by Open Table, and left us waiting for an hour for a table, even though there were many available, with no one sitting down. We kept asking, but he refused to seat us and was very rude. I was not pleased, as this was a business lunch and rather embarrassing for my guest. For $100 lunch, I expected polite service.
One of my favorite spots in the city. Love the patio.
I booked my reservation very far out in advance. I came to NY from Texas and this was #1 on my list of things to do. The service was incredibly poor. I had to wait 15 minutes to even be acknowledged by a server. Tables were seated and had their food after I got there and before I could place my order. I ordered tea time and items I was supposed to get were substituted without being told so. The outside was dirty. The servers were rude.
The staff was amazing! They took care of us in every way the food was delicious and fast to come out.
We live close to Laduree and frequently take guests. It has become increasingly disappointing when it comes to service. Last time there were 4 of us and our meals arrived over 30 minutes apart. No one came to check on the table after the first food arrived. We received three excuses: Half the staff did not show up that day (what does that tell you), there was a fire in the kitchen, and the server neglected to put the full order in. So which was it?
Lauduree is a unique and fun experience. There's a large patio that is the place to be. It's beautiful and uplifting outside. The food we had was great (some of the best french toast) and a decent amount of options for brunch. I had some fantastic tea and croissants. The only lacking element is probably the service. We rarely saw our server but it didn't hinder our experience too much.
Amazing dessert, very beautiful place
Food was lack luster. Macarons were awesome as always. Would only return for dessert.
We had a reservation for 5 people. Our hostess sat us without menus. After waiting for 10 minutes, I got the menus myself from the bar. When the water was (finally) served, they only had four glasses (one of which was dirty and had to be sent back) on the table, so we had to request another for our 5th guest. This came about 20 minutes later. Our server was rude, the wait staff were rude, our order was incorrect three times; we didn't even get our drinks until we'd been there for an hour--although they'd been sitting on the bar for nearly 30 minutes! I had to go get them myself! When the server brought the bill, he pointed to the "suggested tips" section and instructed us that "This is where we suggest the tip you leave." My jaw DROPPED. I did speak to a manager, and since we'd already paid, he gave us four desserts to take away.
I love this restaurant, but this is the THIRD time (in a row) that the service has been sub-par; although I must admit, this time it was abominable, and I was truly embarrassed that I had brought our out-of-town guests here.
This is the second time I've gone and they've been out of their pastries. I suppose one has to go before 3pm if they want dessert at all.
The ambiance was great however the service was the worst I have ever seen.
Overall deeply disappointed
Not enough staff for a busy Saturday morning as well as a catered party.
Upon leaving I found the person handling the pastry used the same glove to handle cash
Another time I had made a reservation for six they did not plan the seating and crammed us into small tables
The outdoor is just amazing. They had some live Jazz music and the ambience was lovely. The french toast is always good in Laduree. Definitely one of my favorite place in NY.
We enjoyed a lovely dinner in the garden. The jazz trio added a very nice touch.
Laduree was a beautiful place to celebrate a friend’s baby shower with an afternoon tea time menu. The service, however, is not the most amicable and frankly, we didn’t see our waiter at all after he took our order. I would return because the pastries, macarons & tea were incredible.
We knew this location as the former Barolo (Italian) with its gorgeous outdoor patio & beautifully lit trees in the middle of busy SoHo.
While I’m generally not a fan of French food, this was a lovely indulgence. Wonderful brunch/light lunch fare, as well as sides like “truffled dauphine potatoes” and macaroons for dessert. The ambiance made us feel like “ladies who lunch” on the beautiful patio.
Not cheap but worthwhile when you’re showing off for friends who are in town! ;)
The garden at the Soho Laduree is truly beautiful. It is amost like being in Paris. The food is very good, the service is wonderfuland the atmoshere is amazing!
Absolutely thrilled we ate brunch here! My daughter recommended it and it was perfect! Best French toast and macaroons we’ve ever had!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE. It was perfection all around. Service was on point and sitting in the garden is beautiful. They feed you a lot of food so there is value to eating here. The drinks were strong and generous. The desserts were beyond.
It's pricey but so worth it. Lauduree SOHO made a beautiful MEMORY. Thank you!!!!
Café with nice garden. Unfortunatly a name well known is no garantee for top class service and food.
Laduree is a beautiful place. I love coming here for tea and desert. This time around we ordered some food also. It is so so. This was the first time anywhere I did not like Eggs Benedict. It was flavorless. The hollandaise souce was boring in taste. However, we also ordered Croque Monsieur, which tasted very good. Otherwise, the tea, the desert and the atmosphere was very nice.
Great to not have to travel to Paris for the best Pain Perdu around! The macarons are ok too! ; )
We are in nyc for couple of years, so trying to hit the spots that seem different. Really liked the place, we sat in the courtyard. Highly recommend you get a table outside. Food is average; my husband got eggs Benedict with Canadian bacon (it was really a piece of ham, not pea meal bacon). We would have gotten just regular bacon if we knew it’s just ham. I got eggs Benedict with salmon. One egg was poached well, the second egg was overdone. Hollandaise sauce was pleasant, and it came in the side, which was great. My cocktail was good. We are not dessert people, but we tried the flan, which was nice.
Staff was friendly and nice.
We went for breakfast, to celebrate my wife's birthday, she was so happy about the outdoor garden and the amazing food, the place is very nice and fancy and the service is so good, definitely I'll return for dinner or just for the coffee and pastries and obviously the macaroons!!!! best ever!!!!
