Fabulous food and service. Requested indoor seating but was sat outside. Was hot but they had a fan.
Beautiful setting! Food was lovely & service was attentive.
You didn’t celebrate my daughters birthday even tho I added those in comments!
I had to ask 3/4 times for a fan. There was a mouse in the patio near our table. We kept quiet.
Waitress was over worked. Too many tables which hurt the service.
Everything was delicious and the service was amazing
Cannot believe how absolutely atrocious the food and service was! So disappointed. The Paris location would be embarrassed to see how terrible the dinner was at this location in Soho. Never again...
Gorgeous! Food are refresh, especially for the Ladurée Spring Salad. Dessert was not as sweet as what I imagined, which was great! They are just at the right amount between sweet and sour, like Pistachio Macaroons with raspberry sorbet; and between sweet and creamy as well, like the vanilla one
Great place. Legendary. Macaroons and so much more. Sit by the outdoor fountain and throw pennies in it.
La comida estuvo bien solo que el servicio tarda mucho.
La persona que nos atendio fue super amable y nos dio excelentes recomendaciones
Went there for the live jazz music and that was the best part. I wouldn’t recommend getting dinner at Laduree. Seems like a great spot for macaroons and tea but the food was below average, overpriced, and overall very touristy.
Service was wonderful.
Love Lauduree. Food was fantastic and ambiance second to none.
Our meal was great. Service was terrible
Everything was top notch, beautiful and pleasing to the eyes
The overall experience was good, but we were very frustrated by their version of the Croque Monsieur. If you're doing your own interpretation of a traditional dish, make it clear on the menu so that people know what to expect. It was not a Croque Monsieur in any mean, it just happened to use the same ingredients!
We were about 25 minutes late because of delayed trains, and they were nice to hold the table until our arrival.
I was recommended to this place ,the ambience is amazing ,service not so much ,have to keep asking the server to come over .
After I finish my meal I went to the restroom and they remove everything from my table including my water ,no attention to clients
I cant say enough, a taste of paris in NYC. The ambiance is indescribable, the desserts are heaven, the service is proper and prompt. There is a gorgeous garden to dine, or the inside dining room is divine. A surprise classical jazz group started playing at dusk...I can not say enough!
Ladurée has charm, elegance, and exquisite taste all in one. Everything was so cute and delicious: macarons, pastries, and the tea was to die for. All the food was incredible. I savored every bite and every sip. This was the best place to take my mom for her birthday. The servers were kind enough to sing happy birthday. I highly recommend Ladurée if you like all things cute, fancy, and tasty. Thank you Ladurée !
Great ambiance on the patio. Portions are small, but great flavors.
I took my sister here for her birthday dinner . We enjoyed the ambience, but found the service to be very slow. Our waiter was confused and did not know that it was my sister's birthday (ruining the surprise), even though I requested "birthday" for my open table reservation. I would go back because I love the outdoor garden, and the interior of this restaurant is very pretty, but don't get your hopes up.
It's a nice restaurant/ patisserie to enjoy afternoon tea, or to have a glass of wine in the outdoor garden.
Sitting outside in the courtyard with all the trees and florals is charming, and Insta worthy. It’s a fabulous place for any occasion.
Everything and everyone is amazing from the beginning to the end my favorite place ever.
Ordered tea and it was disappointing. The sandwiches were dry & bland. The coffee was served was cold. We indicated we were there for our 10 yr anniversary and they didn’t do anything special for the occasion. My only other experience was in Paris and it was beyond amazing...I had high hopes for NYC Soho location but it just paled mightily.
What a lovely surprise in the heart of Soho. Their outdoor seating was wonderful even on a 90 degree humid day! Everything thing was perfectly plated and tasted delicious. The wait staff was a little slow, maybe from the heat. I'll definitely be going back next time I'm shopping in Soho.
The service was extremely slow, and when we were finished with our meal, our waiter stood talking to another table for twenty minutes. Eventually we got another server to close our tab, but it was an awful end to a decent meal.
it was great, we really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere, would definitely recommend and come again.
Let me start out by saying, this is my favorite place to come when I visit New York 3 times a year. This was just a bad experience. I made a reservation and we were seated inside in the romantic French decor dining room. However, it happened to the World Cup that day and the patio was packed with soccer enthusiasts. They were screaming and carrying on. When I asked if the door can at least be shut to the patio so our party could talk to each other the waiter said the partying on the patio adds to our experience. Sure, because I love to have lunch with family and not be able to enjoy conversation. Then the food came and the waiter spilled hollandaise sauce all over me. Okay, accidents happen. They offered to give us free pastries. That was nice but, brand new shirt ruined and needed dry cleaning. They offered to clean it. I didn’t have anything else to wear so not sure how that would work. A bill for three people was still 100. My shirt cost about that and is unusable. Needless to say, this place lost its appeal and won’t be back or send anymore of my friends or colleagues there. So sad, because this was really my favorite place in all of New York and I go every time I am in town.
I had a wonderful birthday brunch on Sunday July 15. Normally quaint and quiet, my reservation happened to coincide with France winning the World Cup. A fantastic viewing party was in full swing when we arrived and it was wonderful to be a part of the celebration upon the final win. What a happy coincidence!! Delicious food and pastries, wonderful atmosphere and amazing service!
Amazing food but horrendous service. Our waiter brought out both appetizers and entrees at the same time, and then disappeared before we could order dessert or ask for a check.
Very slow service with mediocre food quality.
We were enjoying a wonderful time on the terrace. The service was outstanding.
Loved everything about it! From walking in to walking out it was absolutely beautiful and great quality food/desert I will be coming back .
I’ve dined here several times and always leave thinking the same thing. It’s very expensive for just average food. The atmosphere is charming and the macaroons are to die for. But in the future I’ll probably just pop in and buy the macaroons to go.
I was looking forward to eating at Laduree SOHO. The hostess greeted us warmly and seated us in the beautiful garden, as reserved. Our waiter approached about 5 minutes later. He was fairly bland in his demeanor and greeting. Perhaps he wasn't feeling well? Ordering omelettes, which were not accompanied by any sides, "only bread", we ordered a green salad to share. The salad came out 1st, with a tasty, creamy mustard vinaigrette. My omelette, with tomato, ham & cheese filling, served folded as French omelettes are, was just ok, and it looked lonely on the large plate without ANY garnish. My friend's omelette with goat cheese and spinach was served open-faced, but the cheese medallions were not melted as they would be were the eggs folded. The menu should have noted the open-faced cook. When the dish was returned, a manager came to inquire what was wrong and graciously took a substitute order for crab cakes.
We had been at our table for over 1/2 hour, and the promised bread had not yet been served. It may sound like a trivial item to mention, but the salad had been served, and my omelette almost finished. Our waiter advised the bread was still being baked and should be out shortly. It arrived about 5 minutes later, with a properly crunchy shell and soft, warm interior. Soon after, the crab cakes were served, mini-bites within a metal cup, a spicy mustard sauce on the side, and were proclaimed "delicious!" When the manager came to ask if all was ok, we questioned the bread situation. He apologized and admitted that the kitchen was behind in the preparation, though they knew the restaurant was fully booked. Dessert: I was looking forward to an Eclair, having enjoyed delicious ones at the Laduree in Paris, France. This all chocolate version - shell, filling and icing, seemed to have just come from the refrigerator, which greatly diminished the flavor. Too bad. Bottom line: I will probably visit Laduree SOHO again, primarily for the garden dining, but not that soon.
My friend and I went on a weekend trip to New York. We didn't have a ton of time but we dreamed of having desserts and tea at Laduree together so made it a top priority. It was my friends birthday, which I mentioned on the reservation but it was never acknowledged. Our first impression was a very grumpy waitress who pushed past us as we waited to be seated. We were then taken to our table where we asked for water while we looked at the menu. The waiter brought over an already opened bottle of Evian water. When he put it down I told him we did not order that and only wanted tap water (this water was $9 USD...). Rather that apologizing, he told me that I did order it and didn't I remember asking for it. After arguing with him, he said "whatever just drink it". We ordered tea and desserts and after 20 minutes, I got my drink. 10 minutes later, we got our treats. 15 minutes after that when we were finished our treats (note that they did not have what I ordered after all that time) my friend got her drink. When we were finished, we were brought our bill which still showed us being charged for the bottle of water, so I had to argue about it again. We were then told that their machine wasn't working and we would have to fill out a credit card authorization form, which we were very uncomfortable about. Slow service, wait staff that made us feel we weren't good enough to be there, and having to argue over a bottle of water? To say we were disappointed with this experience we were so excited about would be an understatement. I think the staff here need to realize that this isn't just a stop to eat for many people, its an experience people have on their bucket lists and it should be treated that way.
Beautiful indoor and outdoor space with great lunch . I had the ceasar salad with lobster . Desserts were great, especially the macaroons and the gelato was so good I thought I was in Italy for a second. The coffee is excellent and the FRENCH atmosphere is fun. They use real silver which is a nice touch .
Felt very upscale without being over budget, staff was friendly. The food was delicious and fresh. The overall atmosphere was very cute and pretty, it was a great place to get breakfast with friends.
The garden area is lovely and the service and food were very good. I would totally recommend Laurie Soho. I especially liked coming here on a Monday later afternoon, it wasn't too busy or noisy. Super relaxing.
Gorgeous place with great food and service. Best outdoor garden in manhattan !!! Great for special occasions as well. This won’t disappoint 😍
