We went to Laduree on a Sunday for brunch and it was fairly busy. Our table was served by Maria from Ukraine, she went an extra mile to make sure my partner and I enjoy the experience at Laduree and surprisingly offered us free macaroons for my partner's bday. She was knowledgeable, friendly, professional and we truly appreciate Laduree and Maria's outstanding customer service. I would definitely recommend my friends and family and everyone.
Tables to close together
I love Laduree for brunch and have being going for many years. I enjoy the food and service but I must say that the condition of the upholstered chairs in the main room and the dishes are showing the wear and taking away from the beautiful ambiance. Time to clean the chairs and replace the dishes.
Great food and aesthetic, the toilets however were absolutely disgusting and let the whole experience down massively.
amazing service, great food. great place to go to
Loved every minute of it so perfect , went for restaurant week with my coworkers we all loved it and will be returning for years to come !
Beautiful place... lovely ambience! The hog chocolate was very rich and the desserts are truly exquisite. The pastries have unique flavors! Eating just a bit is enough to fill you up and satisfy your sweet tooth. Very kind servers who explained all the types of pastries available which was helpful in choosing one. And the decor is just stunning! I really enjoyed the ambience.
It's a charming space, but the food isn't that great.
Service was slow when there weren’t that many customers; took 15 minutes to get our orders in, and had to take our orders to go because they didn’t come out for another hour.
One of my favorite spots. Food was delicious and not too much. Just the perfect portion for lunch. Desserts were fabulous.
Very good service. My first visit was in the front room which is very dark but the food was outstanding.
This time I went for my birthday and requested to sit in the back room with more light and could take better pictures.
Our waitress was very nice. Afterwards, I went up to purchase macarons, apricot jelly, and tea cakes. The girl was super sweet and helpful and even gave me a couple of macarons for my birthday 💕
The food was exceptional! I had the french onion soup, the scallops, and macarons with tea. The waiter answered all of my questions and provided me with suggestions when I couldn't decide what entree to order. When I asked for milk for my tea, one of the chefs went to the trouble of steaming the milk. I would highly recommend Laduree for any meal, but especially for their macarons and tea service!
Restaurant week lunch is great value!
We loved it. My daughter wanted me to take her for a while now, and finally had the chance right before her 16th bday. She loved it. Had a great experience!
Some of the best service in New York City. The food is wonderful and authentically French. A beautiful experience for small groups, a friendly convo, or date !
The space itself is stunning- girly and cute. But that's about it. Came for their tea service (but had rose lattes). Service was very poor, lattes were constantly cold (we ordered a few), and the tea sandwiches were beyond stale and inedible. They came packed in little wrappers so I'm sure they were prepared off-site. Bread was stale and ingredients old and disgusting (we were scared to eat them!)- it's appalling that they serve them in such a place. The only things good here are the ambiance and the macarons.
I absolutely love Ladurée and everything it has to offer, great selection of food, drinks, and tea/coffee selection. Only bad thing I have to say is that the waiters could be a more attentive when it came to coming to get our order but other than that I will be returning!
Worst high tea experience ever. So disappointed as I spoke to the restaurant before I made the reservation for my daughter’s 18th birthday l. Stale sandwiches plus they were out of most things. This is inspite of asking us to change our reservation to an hour earlier to make sure that they would not run out of anything!
Had a quick meeting with a business associate.
The rose latte tasted a bit like potpourri. My french onion soup had a Massive amount of cheese in it.
The service was okay, the food and drink were okay. $30 for 1 soup and 2 drinks?
Will probably go elsewhere in the future.
It was cold and drafty. The cafe tables were also not suitable for a larger party. The service was great with the exception of not changing out the silverware between courses.
My only complaint is that there was no host near the front when we walked in. After standing there for a minute or so, we had to walk to the back to ask for someone. This aspect
Seemed disorganized. Then it took a while for someone to pickup our card for payment.
Had brunch here with a friend. The tea I ordered was delicious and the omelette I got was made perfectly. Good quality food for a decent price.
Went for Restaurant Week and not only was the service, ambiance, and food AMAZING, but the value! Most RW menus are so limited and Ladurée didn't shy away from being generous. I already loved it, but this gave me so much more to adore. I'll be back very soon.
Such a cute spot for a girls date, love coming here all the time. Can't wait for summer to seat outside.
We had an awesome time , we went to celebrate my birthday brunch. The staff was friendly & attentive.
Would suggest the raspberry French toast!
I ordered from the tea menu and was disappointed with the wrapped sandwiches no creativity and its just cold and bland. the dessert and the tea was excellent. the staff was very nice and helpful. I do recommend to just order from the menu and have them bring you their selections of desserts.
It is very small inside and the tables are very close together. We felt on top of the people next to us.
I have been in to the cafe in Paris and at Versailles and this was not as good. I took my mother and they messed up her order. She wanted salmon toast with a fried egg instead of scrambled and they brought her just eggs. (Nothing else)
The macaroons were not fresh tasting and the staff mostly seemed to behave like they were entitled and we were not.
Great spot for brunch
Macrons are delicious! Roasted chicken is TERRIBLE!!! Dry and served on terrible tasting mushroom sauce! Will only eat here for dessert!
Just awesome and ambient!
They did not serve tea said there machine did not work. Really just heat up water. You can make soup. There machine has not been working since December 28 and we went there January 5. Tea is there things maybe fix machine ASAP. Also our waitress was rude and unpleasant. So disappointed!!
Dont expect too much. Average
We were greeted by a friendly hostess and the smell of fresh pastries. Our waiter, George, was courteous, professional and warm. The experience was so great, I may have to make this location a must whenever I go into the city!
Staff was rude, food was terrible considering it’s very overpriced.
I expected more going into Laduree since I had frequented their locations in Paris before. Their reputation preceded them. However, the experience turned out to be nothing short of a disappointment. I never leave restaurant reviews but this visit warranted one considering how overpriced it was. We had a dinner reservation. Their menu wasn’t the same as the one they have posted online; my friends’ selections were either sub par or dry/over cooked. When it was finally time for dessert (the main reason for my birthday visit), they were out of all of our pastry requests, and they didn’t even have tea to offer. When asked if we could at least have hot water for us to steep our own tea bags into a ridiculous explanation was given: They were “out of hot water.” In sum, save your money and don’t go here unless you’d like some tea and dessert— in which case, ensure that your visit occurs before 6 pm lest they “run out of hot water” and tea.
It was very cold. No one could take their jackets off in the area we were sitting. I would have liked to see my cute outfit. I’m not sure why the heat couldn’t have been turned a little higher or get a better curtain to stop the draft.
