I fully enjoyed , I will return in the future . The food is always yummy .
Best outdoor seating during these times .....
Lovely setting, special place to have breakfast.
We sat for 20 minutes before ANYONE came to our table. We left.
Service & atmosphere was amazing - food was excellent
Fairly packed, and the drinks came after the food. Food was delicious though
Everyone wore masks, social distancing was followed. Relaxed enjoyable environment, their outdoor garden was an escape.
Love them outdoor dining,
Place was great, but we had a reservation for 545pm and didn’t know that they close at 6. So we felt a bit rushed. The gave us some French fries on the house to make up for something they didn’t have which was very nice and their fries are so good
Excellent outside dining!
it was great, good vibes, very attentive service, french toast was a little burnt but overall great.
Love, love, love it! Very accommodating. I have some food allergies and they had no problem making the changes for me on the tea menu. Merci!
Did not disappoint as beautiful as Laduree in Paris and actually a little more cozy.
It’s great experience! Deserts were soo delicious as well regular food. The experience was overall just perfect. I cannot complain
I must comeback to try more things in there.
This was my first time going to Laduree SOHO-- it was my friend's birthday and we wanted to try it out and the place was quite pleasant. I wish I would have known that they were going to charge me $9 for water, but oh well you live and learn! We decided to opt for the tea-time and the macaroons were delicious! We also got the PLAISIR SUCRÉ and it was too chocolatey for my liking but my friend loved it! The ambiance was lovely and the man who took our order was very helpful and understanding. I did not like the finger sandwiches they gave us, but all in all the experience was lovely. 8/10.
very chic Parisian place. if you want to escape from Manhattan's stress without leaving NY this is a place to be.
The restaurant is dirty.
My cup was dirty, the plate was dirty, and the seat my friend sat on was covered in crumbs.
The food wasn’t very good and the prices are inflated. You’re truly paying for the name.
Firstable, they need to clean/change their couch as it is disgusting! It was very dirty and spill marks all over the couch which is very unpleasant to be seated.
And service was extremely slow and food is very mediocre and nothing special.
We were there for 2 hours and 10 minutes and manager came to us and told us that there's another group reservation so we need to leave which was very rude and unprofessional to say to customers.
Also their dessert is pre-made and not fresh.
Overall, laduree is very dated and unsanitized restaurant that you can skip. There are a lot of great restaurants with professional staffs in NYC.
Rude waitress and rude staff. Second time I’ve been here and the staff hasn’t been pleasant!
We had a wonderful time. The brunch pre fixe is really great and gives a lot of food options. It was colder in the room but they were very quick to turn on the heat when they realized and offered free drinks.
Excelente comida, lugar acogedor y bonito
Lovely staff and one of the best chicken dishes ever.
It was so sad to see the decline of such a beautifully preserved perisian institution here in the US.... SO sad!
From start to finish my experience was horrendous. We walked in and up to the host stand and the guy there completely ignored us even after I said good afternoon. He looked up from the iPad he was on and then looked back down while continuing to not even acknowledge us. After 2 minutes he finally said "do you have a reservation" with a nasty attitude. I informed him that we did and he walked away. He came back asked for our name and walked away again. Once we were seated we were disappointed to learn that the same guy was going to be our server. The reason why we cake was to have tea time for my nieces 15th birthday (which we acknowledged when making the reservation) and we were horrified to learn they weren't even serving tea time because they didn't have the savory pastries or sandwich. It was 3:30pm and tea time according to the website and menu is served until 5:00pm. So not only was service severely lacking, the main reason why we even went was unavailable. The waiter in a nasty attitude said "do you still want to eat here or go somewhere else" I was shocked. Not only was he unapologetic but nasty. To try and salvage the situation since it was a birthday celebration. We decided to make the best of it and stay and have lunch...that was a huge mistake. We ordered coffee and rose lattes that came out COLD. I wish I could blame the milk but that was warmer than the coffee. The potato leek soup was bland and tasted more like butter soup, the lobster roll was terrible and tasted like canned tuna. We asked a food runner if we could get our latte remade since it was cold and he was super friendly. The only person that knows that service is in the service industry. He immediately had the coffee bar remake the latte and brought it out quickly. Once we mentioned something to the waiter about the temperature of the coffee and the lobster roll(after he asked us how we were enjoying the food) he simply said "oh" and walked away. We barely ate since everything was disgusting
Everything at Ladurée SOHO looks beautiful, and the atmosphere is what keeps bringing me back; however, the past few times I have visited, the pastries were not fresh at all. This location doesn't compare at all to locations in Europe, where the quality has consistently been much better.
I loved the ambiance, waiters were lovely if and when they actually appeared. We had breakfast, coffee and croissants were delicious. Omelette mediocre.
Beautiful decor and ambience. Only complaint was that the events coordinator and customer service at reservations were very very rude on the phone and very hard to get a hold off took days which is very inconvenient when trying to plan an event for a large party.
One of my favorite restaurants in New York and in Paris. Who doesn’t love the decor. The food is always wonderful although I wish they would bring back the quinoa salad. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating and helpful ( as they always are) and made a wonderful birthday evening even more special for my husband. Lovely not pretentious
Everytime i visit the city this is my go to place.
We like the Ladurees in Paris and New York for the ambiance, traditional French decor and delicious viennoiseries. Been a customer now for years and consistently disappointed with the lack of service in the restaurant in NYC. We hope the managers take customer reviews seriously...
BUT having visited the NYC Laduree several times now during our visits to New York (we live out of state), the service is consistently mediocre:
Inexperienced hostess with no common sense
Inattentive restaurant servers (when there are just a few customers to tend to)
Good food (the avocado toast was a work of art in a floral petal design)
Pretty terrace (if they would have heated it and let customers out there to use)
- we had made reservations and arrived right when they opened and were first partrons
- we had requested a terrace seat (like they allowed us the prior time), but the hostess explained the heaters were not turned on and we had to sit in the main restaurant. that was fine.
- then we requested a four top table in the back room. So we could be comfortable and we usually order a lot. The hostess said we could not and that we had to sit at a two top. And took us to a tiny table in the corner. I would have understood this if it were rush hour and packed with guests. But were were the only ones at 9:00am.
- I repeatedly asked for the larger table and she responded in an irritated voice and manner. So rude! Then finally allowed us to sit at the four top. We ended up ordering four dishes - so much for a tiny table that would pretty much accommodate a latte and croissant.
- the server was slow, barely checked in on us. We were the only customers in this room. I had to get up a few times to find help. The servers/staff all seemed to be chatting around the bar each time I found them. Oh and by this point at 10am the restaurant only had three other customers.
- the store front staff working the macarons counter were on it - attentive, kind.
Foot was great but arrived cold.
A lot of noise this time (it’s usually quiet).
Left my hat on the seat to go to the bathroom and no one was able to tell me where it was after that. Very disappointing for a restaurant from this standing.
This place could be very special, but the initial impression of grandeur is quickly met with mediocrity. The service is undistinguished, the food and drink underwhelming. Not to mention the lack of detail in dirty menus, wobbly tables, wrinkled napkins... The menu could stand an increase in price to support a higher quality experience and change in management.
Pastries are great regular food not good
Valentine’s Day was extra special at Laduree.. The menu was delicious and service was impeccable! I guess this will be my new Valentines tradition! 💗
Amazing as always. Best onion soup in nyc.
Great food but service is lacking. Waiter took a long time to get to our table to take our orders then took a very long time to bring coffee to our table.
Food was not as expected. Ordered lobster linguini and it was just linguini tossed with a few pieces of lobster claw. No sauce or anything.
Dessert was very impressive though.
Arrived at Laduree for an 11:15am reservation, and our tables were not ready. The hostess asked us to wait a few minutes and said she would check us in. We waited for a while then went back to the hostess to check if our table was ready, and the hostess had forgotten to check us in (and didn't remember my name). We were finally seated at a table that hadn't been cleaned and had food crumbs all over it. It was unsanitary. Overall, the service was very disappointing. The wait staff never came and asked how our food was. If we wanted anything from the server, we had to try and flag them down, which took forever. While the food itself and atmosphere were nice, the poor service ruined the experience.
The service wasn’t that good. We got there at 9.30 and the rest of the party 15 min later . It took time for the waitress to take our order even that we got there long time before the rest of the people. We needed to
Ask for lots of things as very few times, and maybe towards the end of our meal, the waitress approached our table asking if everything was ok. I had the salmon avocado toast . Not tasty at all . From the beginning we ask the waitress to bring croissants with some jellies and she never brought the jellies. overall we had a nice time because we were celebrating and the restaurant is very pretty, but the service and what I eat were not that good.
The servers were incredibly attentive. Everytime my friend and I looked up from our plates - even for a second - someone would jump to help us. We laughed a bit about it, but it was nice to know the team was at the ready to make sure we got what we needed.
