We enjoyed the food, the service and the patrons were chic.
Unfortunately we went on a bad day.
Long wait time to check in although we had confirmed reservation.
Multiple errors with menu and check.
The quality of the tea party can be compared to the Paris experience. Safety hazard with carpets; after we shared this concern to management no action taken.
Hopefully things are addressed as we love this brand and experience.
We will always have Paris.
Worst service ever and $7 for a simple coffee is ridiculous!
We came to try out the new Matthew Kenney vegan menu at Laduree. First of all, nowhere on the site does it mention that this menu only starts at 11:30am, so we had to wait 45 mins to even receive a menu. The staff couldn't even manage to bring us a menu to look at in advance for lunch service. It was freezing cold outside where they sat us, so we asked to be moved in. When we finally got our first entree, we were promptly served dessert without our second entree arriving. We told our waiter we ordered something else but he argued with us saying we didn't (we definitely did). It finally arrived. Then we had to wait forever to get the check. All portions were tiny, and we left hungry. In the end they tried to force us to give full tip even though service had been abysmal. Not going back.
Absolutely phenomenal! The three of us had the brunch menu and it was outstanding. Venue is beautiful and service was impeccable.
First were told we can’t get separate checks but can pay with separate cards, then once it was time to pay they said it could only be one card- for a group of 7. Which is ridiculous.
They didn’t tell us we can’t pay separately. So they can take 20% gratitude tip from one receipt.
We didn’t see a server for about 25 minutes after being seated, but after that got worked out, everything was great.
This was literally the worst dining experience I’ve had in a long time. The food is disgusting. Completely not edible . The service was a joke I almost left without paying as I could not find one waiter in the whole building. I eventually had to walk into the kitchen to get somebody to bring my check so I could get the hell out of there.
Service was not good. Our waiter never came back to check on us. We had finished eating for about 30 min before our waiter came to ask if we wanted the check. Also he didn't seem to know much about the menu items.
The ambiance and the decor was good, the food was above average and the service left a lot to be desired
The place has wonderful ambience plus the service was so attentive. The omelette and onion soup were good but not great. The star attraction as expected were the patisseries. There is some peeling paint on the walls and the decor could use some maintenance. Overall a very food experience.
A place that feels totally unique in a totally unique city. Delicious food, excellent service.
Management was rude. Quality overall is poor between service, staff and food.
I went to Laduree for the first time, and had a fantastic meal. The cod with mashed potatoes was delicious, and the chocolate hazelnut French toast was to die for. The main dining room is beautiful and the service was excellent. And it's not nearly as expensive as I expected it to be. Definitely recommend for both New Yorkers and visitors.
Amaizing food beautiful restaurant
Latino server very rude!
Great place to enjoy in couple or family, deserts are amazing
Food was good but wasn’t as upscale as I thought it was. Bathrooms were very filthy (garbages over flowing onto the floor and toilet paper all over the bathroom) and there were flies buzzing around my indoor table my entire meal. I guess this place is more of a tourist attraction than an actual upscale french restaurant.
My favorite weekend breakfast/brunch spot. Service has improved. Food quality is always outstanding. Love sitting in the back salon or garden.
Laduree never disappoints, the food is always delightful and the ambiance refined and regal. The service was a little lacking, as I ordered the vegan vol au vent and received the vegan avocado toast instead... Not sure how the mix up happened, but I had to wait a bit to receive the correct order - just a little inconvenient . I certainly didn't mind waiting and the meal was delicious, as expected. We got deserts on the way out and they were perfect.
I was very disappointed in LaDuree Soho this visit. The surroundings in the outside garden were very pretty. The service was poor with waiters bringing food to our table that we didn’t order, multiple waiters asking us the same questions. The prices were very high and the portions (omelet) for $17 came without any potatoes or bread basket. I have been to this restaurant once before and the food and service was much better. I have been to LaDuree in Paris and that was tres magnifique.
The server had an odd reaction to our requests. Coffee bar was backed up and seemed confused by orders servers put in.
I asked to add an egg to veggie avocado toast (when egg was included on other avocado toast on menu, would think it wasn’t a difficult request). Not busy, early morning visit, yet server said “I’ll have to see about that, we don’t usually accommodate customer requests, but I’ll check to see if the cook can do. Cook did, so I was happy.
When requesting 3 variety of pastries, server responded that customers can’t usually choose which they receive as the shop runs out of some pastries, but again would check. We received, so we were happy.
All went fine, but we didn’t feel the service was 5 star.
The cashier was rude but the waitstaff was lovely and I loved the decor
Less desserts than usual and service was very slow. Not as good as in the past.
Seated by back door, which was opened a thousand times, making the temperature very cold and breezy, blew napkins off table repeatedly.
It was my birthday and aside from arriving early and being told we could be seated we waited another 20 minutes after being told 5 minutes twice. Then to have two parties of two w no reservations sat before us. The host then realized we had been standing next to him the whole time.
Food was cold, drinks were awful and the service was extremely slow and communication of no sandwiches or no items weren’t offered until we noticed they hadn’t arrived to the table. The tables don’t accommodate certain items on the table.
And the noise is too much for the type of experience and style of restaurant.
I was hoping this would be a great location for my daughter’s 25th surprise birthday this December but I won’t return.
I went for late brunch on Saturday with a friend
Unfortunately this time my experience was not that great
It was full, noisy, service was slow (15 minutes for tap water) and food unremarkable
Service here was terrible, coffee came out with no cup to drink it from, soft boiled eggs were nearly raw, one of 4 dishes did not come out with the others so while we all waited our food got cold. Overall terrible overpriced experience. beautiful place, great macaroons but the point of sitting down to eat a meal together. would not go back and sit down, only purchase macaroons from the front.
As always, tea time at Laduree SOHO is impossible to beat. My grandmother was in town visiting and she loved it
I have gone to this restaurant for many years, however, the quality of the food (Lunch + Dinner)
has drop several notches. The desserts however are excellent and saves the day.
The restaurant was just what I expected. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. My friend and I both had champagne cocktails that were perfectly mixed. The macarons and desserts were incredible. Looking forward to visiting again!
enchanting garden and excellent food. A real find.
Everything was amazing, we sat outside on a very beautiful day. My only complaint was a very noisy couple that were clearly intoxicated. They had taken clothes off and one person was just wearing short shortS and a bra. They were loud, using lots of profanity. By the time we were leaving they were throwing drinks at each other. My complaint with Laduree was that they did not address this disturbing scene. Most people on the patio were aware and despite complaints, these two people were not asked to leave.
It was a quaint Parisian setting in the middle of soho. Good and service was excellent. The ambiance was was great and decor as well. The macaroons were delicious. It’s a must sitting outside if you can. Lived it will be back again.
Veg vol au vent was dominated by peas, very rich, heavy dish that was true to tradition. The veg avocado toast was similar. The garden setting was soothing.
It’s lovely to dine in the garden weather permitting. The inside is attractively done and the ambience is Quite charming.
The hostess forgot to seat us. After 45 min of sitting in front of her, waiting... we were like is our table ready? And she was like oh my god I forgot. No compensation or apologies given....
The outdoor garden is one of our favorite spots in NYC! And the food is superb and the staff is outstanding.
Wonderful weekend brunch! Service was impeccable not to mention the outdoor setting was very elegant and beautiful... for a moment I felt I was in Paris
I loved the food and service. My order was an avocado toast with salmon and lobster linguine. I would advice to use different bread for avocado toast, because this one is too soft and taste like cake, not bread. The rest was very delicious. Staff was very friendly, attentive and polite. What i liked there, that service doesnt attach to one person, all staff is involved. Laduree def the place where i will go back again.
