Very poor service from Ladera. I made the reservation for my Legal Counsel and two business guests. After waiting for 25+ minutes for their lunch order, calling the waiter over to inquire, he said the order was LOST, so had to re-enter and expedite the order. Waiting 15+ more minutes for food to arrive. This was on a normal, not excessively busy, lunch time. No offer of beverage refills or on-the-house deserts. Very disappointingly poor service from Ladera.

Always enjoy dining at Ladera. Adam was a very attentive waiter and offered menu suggestions upon request. I chose the Pork Picatta and it was delicious -- flavorful and tender. My only disappointment was that upon delivery the dish was just warm. I would have expected it to come to the table with more heat. Not sure why this happened but still enjoyed the meal.

What a surprising find in Morgan Hill. The dining room was well above average. The food was simply outstanding. My wife had shrimp risotto and I have the Petrale sole. Both dishes were excellent. Service was great. Plus, they have a great wine list. As a side note, I lived in South San Jose in the late 1960s and I remember the mostly rural Morgan Hill about 10 miles to the south just beyond Coyote. I kept mentioning to my wife "this is Morgan Hill?" This food would match anything in San Francisco. We'll be on business again in the area next week. we know where we will be going for dinner.

I was in Morgan Hill for my friends birthday and she chose Ladera Grill. The wine selections were fairly extensive and we were pleased with our choices. We each ordered a special - Tri-tip and chicken cordon Bleu. They we’re both delicious! I only wish the lights were toned down a bit - it was a bit bright for the evening. When I made the reservation on Open Table, I indicated that the visit was for a birthday. I never mentioned anything to the staff when we arrived, but obviously they pay attention to the online reservations! They surprised us with ice cream in a beautiful presentation. I was very impressed by this! Overall a very lovely evening!

We were disappointed with the oysters Rockefeller which have been so excellent the last couple of times we had them. This time it seemed like all spinach and breadcrumbs with no oysters in sight. Please do not serve them if they’re not going to be up to par.
Additionally, we poured our own champagne throughout dinner and my husbands meal was not hot.

I love appetizers so my whole dinner was just appetizers. I love the coconut shrimp and Brie dish. I didn’t like the avocado spring rolls at all. I think they would taste better if they were done Vietnamese style and not deep fried. My husband had the osso bucco. He was very happy with his choice.

This was our first time at Ladera Grill. The service was exceptional, and the food delicious! We both got salads that were prepared so artistically. The complimentary bread was perfect! For dessert, we tried the apple cheesecake wrapped in pastry. Another beautiful presentation! Everything was delicious, and we look forward to going back again.

We stopped her for lunch on our way to Big Sur — a real find. The food and service were both superb.

Food is good, but restaurant is very noisy, due to the bar being within the eating area.

My friend and I wanted to take our special out-of-town guest to the best restaurant in Morgan Hill and we quickly chose Ladera Grill. We both have been there many times...so we felt comfortable in our decision. And it was. Dinners were outstanding...with great and attentive service. We truly enjoyed it. Well done.

My husband and I came here to celebrate Valentine’s Day this year. The service, from the free valet parking to the entire wait staff, was wonderful & helpful. We were a little bit underwhelmed by our coconut shrimp appetizer. The coconut flavor was lacking & the sauce provided was a bit strong. The crab cake appetizer was good, but not notable. I did love the mango salsa on it! We ordered eggplant Parmesan & scallops for our main course and enjoyed them both! Thank you!

First of all the food was fantastic. My husband and I had the Filet Mignon and you could cut it with a fork. Our guest had the Oysters Rockefeller and seafood platter which she raved about. We shared an apple tart which was amazing! Our issue was with our waiter who delivered my husband's meal with the wrong sides and then we realized he swapped our steaks -- his 12 oz was cooked medium well and my 8 oz was medium. Very disappointing. Then when it came time to deliver the bill, he gave us another guests bill with their cash payment in it. Fortunately for him, we're honest people and notified him immediately. On the plus side, the manager came over when he heard about our troubles and comped us the appetizer and dessert, which was very nice of him. If not for the mix ups with our entrees and the bill, I would have rated this experience five stars.

We used to love ladera but I feel like the quality of food has gone down. Our meat dishes were served with steamed vegetables that looked like they were previously a frozen veggie mix. The service was slow and our waitress seemed annoyed with our questions. Too bad bc we used to enjoy our time at ladera

This is our favorite spot!! We are at Ladera Grill at least once or twice a month. Chris Provini and some of the waiters and waitresses know who we are. It’s so nice that they recognize us every time we arrive. OH MY GOD!! The chefs are AMAZING!! We will be back again and again!

Ladera has been our favorite restaurant for five years. We eat out every week but we have
been away for a few months. We came back to find Ladera better than ever.

We celebrated a very special birthday for my wife with two close friends. We have been to Ladera Gruill several times and it never disappoints. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, the staff was more than accommodating and the food was excellent.

Food was great. Disappointed that we made a reservation, waited 25 minutes to get seated, then we get sat by the door and every time someone leaves we get a cold blast. Server was ok at first but then couldn’t be found. I ordered 2 bottles of wine and she didn’t pour one glass! The bill took forever to come and then she never returned, sent someone else to run my card.

I believe they need quite a bit to reach the "fine dining" status. We were seated on time. We ordered Sparkling wine, they brought wine glasses instead of flutes. The service was very sketchy. The food was good and we still had a good time because we were an up-beat group.
