We had to wait for a few minutes for our reservation, so the staff offered free drinks. The service was nothing short of outstanding! The food is fabulous as well and I highly recommend their raw bar and charcuterie. Totally worth the value!

We have eaten at LaCroix in all its iterations for years. I have eaten there several times in the last two years after then wen prix fixe. We went on Saturday because it was so cold and door to door availability. I was stunned. The chef and everyone else have upped their game considerably. This is now, once again, one of the best restaurants in the city. We did the high end wine pairing, and as much as I love Vetri, the wine was better than a recent meal there with their high end pairing. The service was impeccable. The sommelier loves to teach and had really interesting wines to serve. The balance between some choice and defined options was interesting. The quality of the food itself, the creativity, the presentation, everything was spot on. It was one of the most delightful restaurant surprises in years. I very much recommend this under appreciated jewel.

Tremendous food and service. Chef Chichon and his team created a wonderful meal for our 20th anniversary. The attention and hospitality showed by Chris made us feel as if we were the only guests in the restaurant.

We have been to Lacroix few times and it is one of our favorite restaurants in the city. Food is awesome, the chefs tasting can be modified as well according to your personal preferences. They are very accommodating regarding the tasting menu. Wine list is extensive and the sommelier is knowledgeable. All in all a great experience.

Famous New Year's Eve Brunch at Lacroix. Family of 5. Had so much fun and the variety of the food was amazing. Unique experience with the Set Up in the Kitchen. Felt like being in someone's home. Excellent Staff All Around!!

Once again, LaCroix meets and then exceeds our expectations. We have attended the Sunday brunch at LaCroix between Christmas and New Year's for the past 10 years, but each time is always a pleasure. As you would expect, the service is both attentive and adaptive. We saw a young child given a teddy bear to help entertain her while her parents enjoyed their meals, an excellent act by the staff. The wait staff seemed to know when to clear service and refill coffee almost as soon as the fork rested or the cup was sat.

But the food, oh, the food. Beyond creative, using ingredients like foie gras, brussel sprouts or scallop ceviche in ways you never can expect. Even the more staple items like roast leg of lamb, or even scrambled eggs, are of such quality and creative prep, you are not prepared for how good they taste. We brought two neophytes to the meal, both of which had not a single complaint about any dish. For us, the surprises, the quality, and the selection all combine to make this annual event both special and highly rewarding.

My son joined my wife and I to celebrate my wife's birthday on December 29th - a date that all too often leads to disappointment as restaurants recover from Christmas and prepare for the New Year. LaCroix was a wonderful exception. The tasting menu was outstanding as were the wine pairings. The best and most authentic fine French dining that we've found outside of France. A wonderful place for a truly special event.

We celebrated our 42nd Anniversary.
I can't point out exactly what was it that didn't make this experience an amazing one we expected it to be, but unfortunately it wasn't. Ambiance and service were wonderful, but unfortunately the food didn't raise up to our expectations. Some dishes were tasting great, some were very good, some were not so good and though we had lot's of amuses, intermezzos and petite after dessert treats nothing was really amazing or memorable except of the bread basket with incredibly tasty goat's milk butter. I guess these ups and downs in taste department kind of spoiled a bit otherwise supposedly great experience it could be.
At the same time we'd like to say huge thank you to the serving staff for a wonderful service we've received and don't want to discourage other patrons of enjoying this restaurant. They say "tastes are different", so please try for yourself and who knows, you might like the food better then we had.
