We had to wait for a few minutes for our reservation, so the staff offered free drinks. The service was nothing short of outstanding! The food is fabulous as well and I highly recommend their raw bar and charcuterie. Totally worth the value!

We have eaten at LaCroix in all its iterations for years. I have eaten there several times in the last two years after then wen prix fixe. We went on Saturday because it was so cold and door to door availability. I was stunned. The chef and everyone else have upped their game considerably. This is now, once again, one of the best restaurants in the city. We did the high end wine pairing, and as much as I love Vetri, the wine was better than a recent meal there with their high end pairing. The service was impeccable. The sommelier loves to teach and had really interesting wines to serve. The balance between some choice and defined options was interesting. The quality of the food itself, the creativity, the presentation, everything was spot on. It was one of the most delightful restaurant surprises in years. I very much recommend this under appreciated jewel.

Tremendous food and service. Chef Chichon and his team created a wonderful meal for our 20th anniversary. The attention and hospitality showed by Chris made us feel as if we were the only guests in the restaurant.

We have been to Lacroix few times and it is one of our favorite restaurants in the city. Food is awesome, the chefs tasting can be modified as well according to your personal preferences. They are very accommodating regarding the tasting menu. Wine list is extensive and the sommelier is knowledgeable. All in all a great experience.

Once again, LaCroix meets and then exceeds our expectations. We have attended the Sunday brunch at LaCroix between Christmas and New Year's for the past 10 years, but each time is always a pleasure. As you would expect, the service is both attentive and adaptive. We saw a young child given a teddy bear to help entertain her while her parents enjoyed their meals, an excellent act by the staff. The wait staff seemed to know when to clear service and refill coffee almost as soon as the fork rested or the cup was sat.

But the food, oh, the food. Beyond creative, using ingredients like foie gras, brussel sprouts or scallop ceviche in ways you never can expect. Even the more staple items like roast leg of lamb, or even scrambled eggs, are of such quality and creative prep, you are not prepared for how good they taste. We brought two neophytes to the meal, both of which had not a single complaint about any dish. For us, the surprises, the quality, and the selection all combine to make this annual event both special and highly rewarding.

My son joined my wife and I to celebrate my wife's birthday on December 29th - a date that all too often leads to disappointment as restaurants recover from Christmas and prepare for the New Year. LaCroix was a wonderful exception. The tasting menu was outstanding as were the wine pairings. The best and most authentic fine French dining that we've found outside of France. A wonderful place for a truly special event.

We celebrated our 42nd Anniversary.
I can't point out exactly what was it that didn't make this experience an amazing one we expected it to be, but unfortunately it wasn't. Ambiance and service were wonderful, but unfortunately the food didn't raise up to our expectations. Some dishes were tasting great, some were very good, some were not so good and though we had lot's of amuses, intermezzos and petite after dessert treats nothing was really amazing or memorable except of the bread basket with incredibly tasty goat's milk butter. I guess these ups and downs in taste department kind of spoiled a bit otherwise supposedly great experience it could be.
At the same time we'd like to say huge thank you to the serving staff for a wonderful service we've received and don't want to discourage other patrons of enjoying this restaurant. They say "tastes are different", so please try for yourself and who knows, you might like the food better then we had.

This is the definition of fine dining - the food is exquisite, delicious, thoughtful, beautiful. special - the staff are the gold standard - true professionals - everyone is treated with kindness and care - we will return often and will recommend to everyone - in a restaurant town, people get into gimmicks and lose sight of what a real dining experience should be - a chef who is an artist and creates an experience and a staff of professionals -

For the holidays of Christmas Eve and Christmas day, the all day brunch is going on. WE had the morning on Christmas eve and the evening on Christmas day. Since the variety is enormous, it worked out well. I salads and eggs for the early. I had fish and garlic potatoes and smoked fish and vegetables for the later. I had a very nice glass of wine recommended by the SOMM with the early. The food was good, but as it was the holidays and many people were cycling through I believe it wasn't as great as it could have been. My husband had the pig that I overheard said the chef worked on for hours. I am not a fan but my husband is and he was disappointed. Could be just taste differences though. It is a great experience if you have never done the brunch, it is well worth it.

This is the second time eating La Croix in the last two months. I highly recommend their brunch - it really is an exceptional experience. Everything from the service to the food for the most part is varied and top-notch.

The only complaint I have is I wish for a French restaurant of this caliber to live up to its name in dessert. I found the offerings - from the pastries to ice cream (and everything in between) to be sub-par

I took some work colleagues for a departmental breakfast and they were delighted with their food as was I. The only comment I'd make is how our server reacted when I ordered a mimosa...he sAid only if it's after 9. (It was). We never heard of a rule that prohibited alcohol before 9 am but he should've handled it more elegantly at a place like lacroix

If it's your first time, make sure they give you a tour!

Overall, the service, outstanding food and many options make for an unbeatable Center City brunch experience. At $75 per head, it's a bit pricey, but it's absolutely worth it! There are four different buffet-type spreads throughout the restaurant, including the most impressive one, which is in their kitchen!

During our first visit, we were seated all the way in the corner and had no idea about the buffet in the kitchen. Long story short, they asked us to come back for a re-try and we were blown away!

The second visit, which will forever be referred to as the "Redemption Brunch", was utterly amazing. This is easily the best brunch in the city!

I look forward to another visit soon!

Thank you Lacroix Staff! (Jean-Paul, Sylvain and our amazing waiter)

Nothing short of an amazing, customized dinning experience. My entire party had a speacial “happy birthday” tasting menu (as the birthday girl, mine was signed by the chef). Our waiter was attentive, helpful and kind. Each dish was creative, beautiful, and delicious. Easily one of the top 3 best dinning experiences I’ve ever had.

This review is for Lacroix's Sunday Brunch which is over-the-top in terms of the number of offerings, the setting, and quality of the food. As you wander through the restaurant and even into the kitchen, the number of choices is mind-boggling. Everything we had was great. This comes at a very high price, however, of $75 per person, which does not include any alcohol. Add in a mimosa or Bloody Mary, and you are quickly well over $200. We love dining at Lacroix, but will likely forego the Brunch because my wife can't come close to eating enough to justify that price tag.

This is a refined and elegant place, with a high service culture and excellent kitchen. It stands out from other distinguished Philly spots with its quiet ambience (we find that many places in town can be called "energetic" or "noisy", depending on the point of view) but the friendly staff take care that it not be intimidating. There are also intriguing wine pairings. One note of caution; it's a single prix fixe menu with a few options on some courses, so diners need to go with the flow of the evening.

The place was located at a hotel’s second floor. The waiter had to be reminded to hand us a butter knife. Everything tasted horrible another than the soup of the day. After we said the foie gras was so bad tasting the manager said nothing and handed us the check. Wouldn’t recommend!

We had a wonderful time at LaCroix. From the moment we were seated and Jorge introduced himself, it was an experience as much as a Sunday brunch.
Our table was at the window, overlooking Rittenhouse Square. Even the tables not against the windows have a beautiful view.
Brunch began with Jorge giving us a tour of the different food stations, explaining different selections and specialties of the chef.
For any special occasion, a brunch at LaCroix will put it over the top.
