Cannot think of a better Brunch in the city of Philadelphia
Too expensive.Food 5 course not great.Wine and service good.Knowledgeable staff
Perfect hotel restaurant but not a destination restaurant. They presented the same menu for dinner as they did for lunch. Very limited, but well done. Great ambiance and convenience since we were staying at the hotel.
Fantastic as always. Impeccable service. Visually stunning plates.
Outstanding in every way!
It’s been over a year since our last visit and if anything the excellent experience has improved. Dishes were seasonal and locally sourced as appropriate to good effect. Menu generally showed a welcome and surprising creativity. All plates were not equally successful, but that only serves to exemplify a cuisine that was not just coasting. The squab course was particularly interesting to the palate and the eye. There has been improvements to the wine list, which while still somewhat limited provides good choices for different regions and price points. We ordered the better wine pairing and found it well matched with the food while representing some atypical varietal choices. Generally, somewhat pricey, but can be considered a reasonable value.
Very wonderful anniversary dinner.
For Me is The Best Restaurant in Philadelphia.
Gracious, delicious and special. Do it once. At least.
Delicious Cobb Salad, caring service, lovely view.
Excellent food and Chris is amazing!
Bad taste food bad test food. 🥺🥺🥺🥺
Bad time bad Good staf
Overall it was a lovely dining experience. The issue my guests and I continued facing was the effect of when some of the foods sit out for too long. We thought some things were a bit dry. Just a few dishes were lacking in flavor. I would have liked to see/have more raw bar options as well. We love to eat and dine out frequently but never had the opportunity to have brunch at Lacroix although we have heard wonderful things about it. The offerings are abundant and the majority of the items are exceedingly delicious. I still am very glad we had the experience and would recommend it to others.
Great service, very good food, nice restaurant.
A great restaurant. Wonderful experience. Great rapport with sommelier
Fantastic upscale brunch. Worth every cent. Definitely try the Dijon Lamb Leg, the Carrot, Sea Urchin, and Spring Pea Tarts, Foie Gras S’mores, and the Oysters!!!
Andre was our server and he was new (2 days on the job), but he was great and tried very hard as he was learning. Micheal was his “back up” and they worked great as a team to make certain that we had a wonderful lunch and answered all of our menu questions. The corn soup was delicious! I had the avocado salad, but my only problem was that I tasted “onion” and it was not noted on the menu...it was chives. That is a chef/menu problem for not noting that chives are on top as I do think a lot of people have a strong aversion or allergy to the onion taste. Other than that, the service and food was wonderful, not to mention a great view overlooking Rittenhouse Park.
Excellent food. Excellent service. Noise level was perfect. Thoroughly enjoyed our meals!
What a selection of delicious bites for brunch! Always wish I could eat more!
Great food, slow service. It's funny that there is a '5 minute grace period' for reservations but I didn't see the first plate until 45 mins in. But - everything was delicious.
Our Sunday dinner at LaCroix was a flawless experience - both the meal and service.
Everything was excellent!! We especially enjoyed the tour of all of the different stations. We are definitely planning to return.
Perfect atmosphere for a small business lunch. Although most of the tables were full, the noise level remained quiet. It was easy to have a conversation. The servers were attentive and the food was delicious.
The private dining area was an unexpected pleasure. Professional staff was excellent and very attentive. Our entire group was overly impressed with the entire experience.
Sunday buffet is worth the experience!
Sunday Brunch at Lacroix has become an annual event with friends I have had since college. The raw bar alone is worth the money. If you like raw oysters (3 varieties), large shrimp, smoked salmon, and caviar, there is enough of the alone to bring you to the table. The variety of the other high quality and imaginative offerings makes it more than worthwhile. The variety is staggering and serving dishes are small and so constantly replenished. There is a full omelet bar, but honestly, you can make those at home. The dessert spread features tiny portion offerings which can satisfy any sweet tooth.
The tables are large and well spaced. The chairs are exceedingly comfortable. We were grateful for that as we were there for about 2.5 hours. The acoustics make conversation easy. The service is also Five Star.
I have had dinner here a couple of times. For us, it is a special event place only. Although, hardly inexpensive, for a special occasion, it is definitely worth the drive to the city, parking, and the cost.
Beautiful space. They did a pescatarian prix fix menu for me which was delicious. Halibut, John Dory, scallops all delicious. Date had the rabbit and beef from the regular prix fix and could only compare it to Gary Danko in San Francisco. Top of the line.
Excellent, healthy food. Great service. Quiet, nice space.
we've been a ton of times for brunch for special occasions. I don't know what else to say but our server came off as a snob who made some type of judgement call about us. we walked in he automatically passed us up to another server to "tour" us around, didn't give us water or offer us drinks and didn't come check in on us for the entire meal. I'm sure he was busy with others and we are pretty low maintenance. At over $300 for brunch for two adults and a young child, a little kindness goes a long way.
Impeccable service, excellent cuisine, elegant setting.
The food, service and drinks were stellar.
Amazing food, amazing experience. I am already looking forward to my next visit. Thank you!
Exciting flavors every time, paired exceptionally well with great wines. Love the food and appreciate wonderful service. Worth a drive from outside the city. At the top of a very short list for us in. Philly.
The brunch food and service were phenomenal!!
Went for my wife's birthday- we both agree it was one of the best meals we've ever had. Incredible food (we had the tasting menu), beautiful space, and a knowledgeable, attentive, and kind (and not overbearing) staff made for a wonderful night.
Location is great. Decor was refined. Went for lunch and overall food was not good especially for the money. Bloody mary was really bad, took 2 sips. Burger was ok, french onion soup bland and disappointing. Wouldnt come back tbh
Excellent meal at Lacroix. We were pampered from start to finish with wonderful, unusual food, and attentive and gracious service. A place for a very special treat. Superb
great service . wine list extensive but overpriced
Elegant dining in a relaxed atmosphere. Tables overlooking Rittenhouse Square. The food changes monthly with the seasons and there is always a theme. We particularly like this month's herb menu. The portions are very small but by the end of the meal, you are stuffed. My wife and I ordered a wine pairing for one and shared it. It was more than enough for the two of us. Not an everyday restaurant, this is the best special occasion restaurant in Philly.
Excellent food. Very expensive and small portions. Wine list also very expensive. Outstanding pastries and dessert - perhaps the best in the city. Wonderful setting and service. A good place for a special occasion, although perhaps not the best value.
