Went there for Valentines Day. Chef's tasting menu was incredible, and the room is amazing. Can't say enough amazing things about this restaurant that I've sadly only first discovered - but now glad I did.

The service and environment was great. We didn't get to sit aside to the window because I booked late. It's a shame but that's fine. As for the dish, the black truffle with porridge was too salty. We didn't like it. Lobster and dessert were the best.

An absolutely exquisite meal. On Monday evenings in January and February, LaCroix is BYOB. We brought a beautiful Chimney Rock wine to enjoy along with the chef's tasting menu. We enjoyed every bite. The staff was knowledgeable; the service was outstanding. A fantastic experience.

I took my mother here for brunch after stumbling on to the exceptional all you can eat spread with my wife a few months before. The service is outstanding and the food options are creative, varied and all terrific and delicious. From oysters to caviar, pâté to pork belly. Not cheap but the value is most certainly there. Skip the eggs and bacon and head for the raw bar.

The staff gave such attention to my friend who is a vegetarian. They pulled out all the stops- besides the specially created menu just for her, they printed it for her as a keepsake. Usually a tasting menu leaves you feeling stuffed, but I felt the portions were perfect- others might be hungry though. The food was innovative and delicious. It's elegant and lovely. And my box of petit fours and peanut chews to take home was a nice touch.

Brunch at Lacroix is truly a special experience. The food is set up buffet style and you have the pick of traditional brunch items as well as some gourmet delights (we especially enjoyed the bao bun sliders!) If you would prefer an omelet or other egg dishes made to order you can ask your server. We enjoyed everything we tried. I highly recommend saving room for dessert.

What especially impressed us is that when they called to confirm our reservation they asked about allergies and when we arrived today we were given a menu with the items that I am allergic to highlighted. The service throughout the rest of the meal was spectacular--we are planning our return!

What a great brunch!

Impeccable service and a very interesting tasting menu. The wine pairing is quite generous in the number of selections offered and a perfect addition to make the dining experience special. This is not for everyday dining but perfect for celebrating a very special occasion.

Although the mangers are very professional and have excellent qualities about them, a few of the servers seemed to regret being there. They looked tired and dissatisfied. For a restaurant that charges $75 per person for brunch, the service and attitude should match that level. However, the other servers were outstanding.

LaCroix is a great restaurant for special occasions. Chef's menu was only choice for the evening meal though it looked like a couple near us were able to only order some of the courses, not all with I would guess an adjustment in price. Food was variable. For our meal seafood choices were just okay, duck and chicken courses were excellent as was desert and after desert sweets which we took home as did most other tables we could see. We did not opt for wine pairings, but ordered our own glass which kept cost down somewhat.
Atmosphere is very lovely. Service was attentive without being intrusive.

Ambiance and service were excellent. Some food was a bit disappointing. Creamed mushrooms as an appetizer was delicious. Pasta with beef ragu was good but not great. Lobster roll was very pretty and good. Flourless chocolate cake for mini-dessert was dry. Would try Brunch as it is supposed to be great.
Daryl was a wonderful waiter and brought a special dessert to celebrate my daughter's special occasion.

We had dinner a dinner reservation for Sunday made on Opentable. The menu on the website was for a chef’s tasting menu. When we arrived the restaurant had few customers because only the spare bar menu was being served, not the fine meal we had expected. The staff were gracious. We were profoundly disappointed.

Definitely a splurge for Sunday brunch but absolutely worth it for a special occasion! Family group gathered for my brother's 60th birthday and all enjoyed the meal (even picky eaters). There were so many food stations that our server gave us a tour to make sure we did not miss those inside the working kitchen. So many wonderful dishes were offered and you could try a little then go back for more helpings of your favorites. Great way to sample things you might not normally try. Chairs were comfy and we had a lovely view of Rittenhouse Square. Service was excellent. Someone was there when you needed them but we never felt rushed. Great experience all the way around.

We have eaten at LaCroix in all its iterations for years. I have eaten there several times in the last two years after then wen prix fixe. We went on Saturday because it was so cold and door to door availability. I was stunned. The chef and everyone else have upped their game considerably. This is now, once again, one of the best restaurants in the city. We did the high end wine pairing, and as much as I love Vetri, the wine was better than a recent meal there with their high end pairing. The service was impeccable. The sommelier loves to teach and had really interesting wines to serve. The balance between some choice and defined options was interesting. The quality of the food itself, the creativity, the presentation, everything was spot on. It was one of the most delightful restaurant surprises in years. I very much recommend this under appreciated jewel.

We have been to Lacroix few times and it is one of our favorite restaurants in the city. Food is awesome, the chefs tasting can be modified as well according to your personal preferences. They are very accommodating regarding the tasting menu. Wine list is extensive and the sommelier is knowledgeable. All in all a great experience.

Once again, LaCroix meets and then exceeds our expectations. We have attended the Sunday brunch at LaCroix between Christmas and New Year's for the past 10 years, but each time is always a pleasure. As you would expect, the service is both attentive and adaptive. We saw a young child given a teddy bear to help entertain her while her parents enjoyed their meals, an excellent act by the staff. The wait staff seemed to know when to clear service and refill coffee almost as soon as the fork rested or the cup was sat.

But the food, oh, the food. Beyond creative, using ingredients like foie gras, brussel sprouts or scallop ceviche in ways you never can expect. Even the more staple items like roast leg of lamb, or even scrambled eggs, are of such quality and creative prep, you are not prepared for how good they taste. We brought two neophytes to the meal, both of which had not a single complaint about any dish. For us, the surprises, the quality, and the selection all combine to make this annual event both special and highly rewarding.

My son joined my wife and I to celebrate my wife's birthday on December 29th - a date that all too often leads to disappointment as restaurants recover from Christmas and prepare for the New Year. LaCroix was a wonderful exception. The tasting menu was outstanding as were the wine pairings. The best and most authentic fine French dining that we've found outside of France. A wonderful place for a truly special event.

We celebrated our 42nd Anniversary.
I can't point out exactly what was it that didn't make this experience an amazing one we expected it to be, but unfortunately it wasn't. Ambiance and service were wonderful, but unfortunately the food didn't raise up to our expectations. Some dishes were tasting great, some were very good, some were not so good and though we had lot's of amuses, intermezzos and petite after dessert treats nothing was really amazing or memorable except of the bread basket with incredibly tasty goat's milk butter. I guess these ups and downs in taste department kind of spoiled a bit otherwise supposedly great experience it could be.
At the same time we'd like to say huge thank you to the serving staff for a wonderful service we've received and don't want to discourage other patrons of enjoying this restaurant. They say "tastes are different", so please try for yourself and who knows, you might like the food better then we had.

This is the definition of fine dining - the food is exquisite, delicious, thoughtful, beautiful. special - the staff are the gold standard - true professionals - everyone is treated with kindness and care - we will return often and will recommend to everyone - in a restaurant town, people get into gimmicks and lose sight of what a real dining experience should be - a chef who is an artist and creates an experience and a staff of professionals -

For the holidays of Christmas Eve and Christmas day, the all day brunch is going on. WE had the morning on Christmas eve and the evening on Christmas day. Since the variety is enormous, it worked out well. I salads and eggs for the early. I had fish and garlic potatoes and smoked fish and vegetables for the later. I had a very nice glass of wine recommended by the SOMM with the early. The food was good, but as it was the holidays and many people were cycling through I believe it wasn't as great as it could have been. My husband had the pig that I overheard said the chef worked on for hours. I am not a fan but my husband is and he was disappointed. Could be just taste differences though. It is a great experience if you have never done the brunch, it is well worth it.

This is the second time eating La Croix in the last two months. I highly recommend their brunch - it really is an exceptional experience. Everything from the service to the food for the most part is varied and top-notch.

The only complaint I have is I wish for a French restaurant of this caliber to live up to its name in dessert. I found the offerings - from the pastries to ice cream (and everything in between) to be sub-par
