Just a little more on elevated attention to detail with customer service. Deserts were divine!
The brunch buffet had many interesting dishes (the cauliflower/duck confit was yummy) and its usual exception dishes (particularly the wild mushrooms in herb nage). However we were seated next to a large family with 2 young girls, who screamed, sang loudly, ran around their table, and laid down on the floor between our tables and thrashed around. Not the way we wanted to spend our anniversary brunch.
Always amazing - great for dates or small group catch ups. Food is always cooked to perfection
Great experience. Will go back for the tasting menu.
Best brunch the city has to offer by far - absolutely worth the price!
Wonderful service, and food!
Every person we came in contact with was nicer than the next. Well worth it. Probably the best brunch I've ever had
Elegant, delightful, educational. A great experience with thoughtful guides.
We met my sister and brother in law for lunch to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Everything was wonderful; food was excellent, as was the service and ambiance.
Amazing location, food and ambiance.
This place is wonderful
The food is distinctive - the avocado, grains, pear, and watermelon radish salad is particularly good. The service is always excellent. The place is elegant and quiet, but not stiff. Highly recommend for a lunch where you want excellent, healthy food and an opportunity to talk with your guest, in peace.
Our to go restaurant for all of our special occasions.
Always impressed. No detail is overlooked. All class.
Everything is good as always
While Lacroix for breakfast delivered in setting and elevated ambience, the food honestly didn’t impress. Unfortunately you can find equal or better eggs Benedict from a much smaller/interesting restaurant around town. Also, for some reason our order seemed to be put on hold in preference to the large table seated after us. Whether that was the case or not, our meal came after substantial waiting time, and also we felt the staff could have been more attentive to us during this wait time. For example, we were not asked if we wanted another cappuccino even though it was clearly empty for some time. Overall I expected a lot more from this meal and I cannot possibly be expected to return for only the ambience, so I’ll choose to find another place next time. This is not just any old place, it’s fancy, and it needs to be better.
The service is always great, and the food is good. But the price of breakfast is too high.
Love the service. Love the food. Love the ambience. And love the environment.
If you are looking for the most romantic, decadent brunch well worth the price then no need to look any further.
The attention to detail, fabulous food immaculately prepared and arranged, 5 star service makes this our yearly go to for Valentine weekend.
Yes the price is high, let's get that out of the way right now but it is well well worth it.
Big ups to Jorge for being such a gracious server-very professional but not too uptight and serious.
Easily the best brunch in the area, hands down!
A wonderful restaurant. The food, the service and the room were all top notch. Can't wait to go back.
Valentines Day. Our favorite parts of the 7- course meal were the caviar (!!!!), the crab dish, and the service. Thank you for a perfect experience.
Over priced and nothing special. They rly on ambiance instead of good food to command high prices.
The service was a bit rushed
Good food and wine as always. Staff are superb....good for date night.
A great dining experience. The service could not have been better - prompt, very pleasant and thoughtful. The food and wine were wonderful. The view of Rittenhouse Square was a bonus.
I have been dreaming of the brunch at LaCroix for years. I missed the old days of the great brunches and heard that this was even better. Perhaps my expectations were not fair. It certainly didn’t even come close to meeting them.
The service in the beginning was exceptional, but perhaps because we had such a late reservation, by the end the service wasn’t quite as good. Oh, they still took your plates, but coming around to see if you needed more coffee, replacing a napkin, even making sure you had utensils was much slower.
The food was good. It wasn’t exceptional, certainly not what I would’ve expected. Again, perhaps it was later, but I don’t know any excuse for giving someone a piece of meat with more fat than edible material. In fact, even the edible part, which wasn’t as inviting after cutting away most, wasn’t anything to write home about.
Now on the plus aide, the tour and open invitation into the kitchen was amazing. I would go back just for that, but at the price they charge, not for a very long time. It was great, but not that great. Though once is probably worth it. I’d go to the early brunch for half the price, it might be more worth it.
That said, one thing of note was the management was exceptional. Front he manager and person giving us the tour to the cleanliness, it was second to none.
Overall, I struggled writing this review. I don’t think it was a bad brunch, but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone unless they wanted an interesting experience. Personally, I think there are less expensive brunches with better food and comparable service.
Best brunch anywhere!!
Time after time, perfect dinners. Food presentation and flavors are exquisite. Pace of service perfect. Wine pairings are spot on. Looking forward to returning at the first opportunity.
Pretty good, nice view and atmosphere but very very expensive
Great evening out with a 7 course tasting menu and wonderful service.
One of the best meals I have ever had. Everything was beyond amazing. The food was sensational, each and every course. We were afraid that with a tasting menu, we wouldn’t get enough to eat but we had plenty! The wine paired well. The service was personable and impeccable. Cannot wait to see the next menu.
The breafest dinning experience was wonderful. We cann't wait to go back. What a treat !!! To say the least:]
I’ve only dined here for the exceedingly tasty and civilized brunch. Foie Gras Ganache S’mores. Yes!
Jon is an excellent and creative Chef. The evening was exceptional.
As someone who has dined at over at least 70 restaurants in Philly I still vote this as the best fine dining experience in Philadelphia. Deserves 2 Michelin stars.
This is one of the most luxurious restaurants in the city. Everything is impressive from the view to the service to the cuisines presentation. Make sure to save it for a special occasion because it is hard to do better.
La Croix is an all 5 star gem The food, the service and the restaurant is one if not the best restaurant in Center City.
Outstanding from the get go. Great experience that we will remember for a long time and for that matter do it again.
We had a wonderful New Years Day / Birthday Brunch here. I am vegetarian and still had plenty to eat. My husband is a meat eater and really enjoyed the meat and seafood options. Dessert and pastries were phenomenal.
LaCroix has been an annual destination for myself, my wife and select friends for over 10 years. I can't tell you about the main menu, but the brunch on Sunday morning is amazing. Easily the best food I will consume each year, and really fantastic taste. Given the skill of the staff, and the variety of dishes, I have never had a bad dish, just unexpected ones. If you have a big date, need to impress out of towners, or just want to really taste a wide range of culinary skills, you can depend on LaCroix's brunch to do all of those.
Lacroix was outstanding! The service was impeccable, the pace with which each course arrived was perfectly timed and the food was amazing. Chris, our waiter was the perfect balance of attentive, engaging and yet did not overstay at our table. Such a great experience!
The food was outstanding, we loved the set menu with a theme. You can really appreciate the creativity of the chef.
The portions for each course were perfect. We were very satisfied at the end of the meal.
The service was impeccable! Our main server was Chris, he was incredibly knowledgeable about every details of each course and each cocktail on the menu. Very impressive!
