Excellent dinner, great ambiance. On our pre-summer eat on Saturday's through MontClair and Verona. Laboratorio is a wonderful addition to our new list. Table was ready and warm lovely buns appeared, which we devoured. The waiter recommended getting wine from the corner store, shared the bottle with the couple who were seated next to us.
Shared the Burata, flavored right with the olives and capers adding acidity to this. Followed by delicious trout and steak au poivre and shared pear tart, yummy.
This one is a keeper.

10/10 as always. Alex is a great server, the food is impeccable, and it’s well priced. We did have a coupon from being on the mailing list, which made it even better! We will continue to return because it is consistently a positive experience & the whole family is always satisfied. BYOB is convenient and the seasonal menu makes it exciting to see what’s new.
Everything was great except the noise level. Service and food were top notch but there were a couple of large parties and the acoustics were not good.
We've been here a few times now, and like it more and more with each visit. This past weekend, we loved every single one of the 5 dishes we ordered (2 apps, 1 salad, 2 entrees). I would definitely recommend this place. Plan on coming back with a group soon.

Good food that is interesting. It was Mother's Day and the service was somewhat off from our previous meals. The fig and cheese appetizer was outstanding. Pasta dishes included small shells in a creamy tomato sauce that was tasty and filling. The mussels were cooked perfectly so that they were tender. I have eaten here before and I have not been disappointed.
We arrived for Mother's Day dinner 15 minutes early and was seated promptly. Our host on this rainy day immediately took our umbrella and rain jackets. Service was prompt and attentive. Its a BYOB establishment. (...very lovely) We had salad, entrees and desert and could taste the LOVE in all its preparation. I salute and highly recommend this place.

Great food!!! The waiter, Sam, was really attentive and provided excellent service. The goat cheese, fig and walnut appetizer was fantastic. Highly recommmend!
Superb food. I dine out a lot and I have rated many restaurants in the 4’s; the food at Laboratorio Kitchen was a cut above the rest. The bread was crusty with a hint of salt on the outside, soft and warm in the middle, served with a firm cold slab of unsalted butter. Exquisite. He had steak au poivre, perfectly medium, pink in the middle and tender, with ample peppercorn sauce. He was surprised by how big the steak was. My risotto had a small amount of lump crab and pieces of chorizo, but the combination and the quantity were sufficient and flavorful; the crispy spinach leaves were new to me but added a nice touch of color and crunch, just a hint. We had vanilla gelato for dessert — three scoops! Chocolate drizzle if desired. The service was attentive and polite, and the price was very good for the quality. I highly recommend it.

Food was terrific.Meatball the size of a softball great taste that night.And almost as good when reheated and finished st home .Would definitely return.Staff knowledgeable answered every question we had about specials and menu.They were comfortable in their job and made you just as comfortable as a guest.
The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was prepared as requested and was delicious. We were not rushed. An informal, yet delightful venue!

This was my second time dining at Laboratorio. Enjoyed the food very much. The au poivre sirlion is on par with a steakhouse. Nice char, tender and flavorful. The crab ravioli are excellent, although, I feel 4 would be a more suitable portion than 3. The fig, blue cheese crostini excellent. The next time I want to try the meatball. It looked amazing. Nice piped in music. Al our waiter was wonderful. We will be back.
My lamb dish was cold,fries over cooked n dry,salad wilted. Others at my table enjoyed their fish dishes.all were nightly specials. Don't know what went wrong with my dish.
Food was terrific! I had the risotto and my husband had the salmon. We had the mussels for appy. So delish! Will definitely be back!

Not very crowded at 6 on a Sunday. I think it would a lot noisier if crowded. Food was great! Dessert scrumptious. Excellent service. Might never go anywhere else.
We had the last seating and they rushed us through dinner. Made us put in our entire order at the start of arrival. Felt like we were holding their staff from going home. Last seating was at 9:30 and then apparently the kitchen closes at 10, which makes no sense. Why have a seating 30 min prior to closing, not a great experience.

We hadn’t been here in a few years and after our dinner on Saturday we know we will not wait long to come back. Food was incredible and service was first rate. We had a fig and Gorgonzola crostini that was outstanding, a steak and pomme frites special that was cooked perfectly, a pasta special with chorizo and jumbo shrimp that made you want to lick the plate clean, and lastly a pear tart with salted caramel topped with a scoop of gelato. Prices for the quality of food were excellent. Can’t wait to go back!
Everything was excellent. I really enjoyed my pasta special. It was homemade pasta with shrimp and chorizo. The sauce was sort of a creamy tomato. I really loved the dish. My wife had a strip steak. Service was top notchNo complaints or room for desert.

I celebrated my son 13th birthday with my family and we had a great experience from the beginning to the end, the food was exquisite...I highly recomend this restaurant.
It’s a great restaurant. I tried the veal meat ball and it was good. It is good for 2 or three people.
I had the risotto- that’s a big hit or miss. I think they did ok. It was a little too soft for my taste and I wasn’t sure that crab meat and chorizo is a good combination.
The service was good and the fact that they help you order wine from a local store. I will give it another chance.
A wonderful atmosphere with great food!!!! The service was second to none. All the desserts are homemade , love it and I highly recommend this place.
So LOUD I could not hear the person across a small table speaking. Nor could I hear the person next to me. RIDICULOUSLY LOUD!!! If/when I plan to eat alone, I might consider Laboratorio Kitchen. I may be able to hear myself think. :-/
