Enjoy an intimate dinner or drinks with friends at Label 7 eatery and bar. Modeled after a Napa style bar, you will find dishes, such as truffle mac and cheese, the Calistoga cheddar burger, the Sacramento salmon and the margherita pizza. Smaller plates include fried green tomatoes, grilled wings or a tasting board that features a chef's selection of cured meats, cheeses, fresh fruits, pickles and spiced candied nuts. There is a gluten-free and vegetarian menu available upon request. Label 7 keep things interesting with a daily Napa hour where selected drinks are half price and a BYOB Monday and Tuesday. The worldwide wine list includes bottles from Italy, Australia, Chile, Germany, Slovenia and California. Label 7 also serves an extensive list of beers and cocktails.
We asked to be seated at a table that is quiet and placed next to kitchen door. Not a good move. We were sadly disappointed. The meals were mediocre at best.
No bread served with a dinner? C'mon!
We enjoyed our meal although we were not real impressed with the cheese and meat tray starter.
The 3 of us were back for a second visit. the room was a bit noisy but the service was excellent and the few vegetarian choices adequate. The chairs are very hard and no cushion was available, I was told there are 2 but they were being used. The wines offered a good selection and we were not rushed or pressured.
I have been here for dinner a few times and the food is always good. Service can be a bit slow so don't go here if you are in a hurry. Decent wine and beer list. Will go back.
We all enjoyed drink specials and fantastic meals. The patio overlooking the canal was perfect for a warm evening dinner with friends.
Very limited menu, food quality is very poor. Would never go back!
Label 7 had a positive presence as soon as we walked in. The place was packed, yet the host and servers were very attentive and seated us right away. The drink selection was great and we made sure to try the "Label 7 Cosmo," a perfect summer cocktail with fresh, fruity flavors. We ordered fried green tomatoes and a fresh bread plate to start. Everything tasted like it was made to order, which is what they are known for. Can't beat knowing everything on the menu is fresh from local farms and never frozen! Our server, John, recommended I try the "LA Chicken" entree. It was the best thing I had ever tasted. It consisted of two pieces of fried chicken over a delicious Belgian waffle. John mentioned when he orders it, he gets bacon on it and some hot sauce on the side, which was exactly what I did. Great advice, I couldn't have been more pleased. Although we were pretty full at this point, we had to get a dessert to share. You cannot go to Label 7 without ordering the "Doughnut Bread Pudding!" This was a perfect way to bring a close to the night, it was so rich, exciting and different from any other boring desserts that other restaurants offer. This place was the whole package with great service, unique and delicious food, and a beautiful setting. We can't wait until next time!
Did not know we could not reserve outside seating. Food was expensive and not worth the price.
Dined at Label 7 many times and never disappointed . The menu has changed and our party of 3 was very happy with the fried green tomatoes, scallop salad, scallop entree and chicken pizza. Drinks were great too. We ate outside on a beautiful night. Love the renovated bar too!
The food and service at Label 7 were excellent. We were a party of three and took a taste of each others entrees and all agreed each entree was very tasty. The waiter was knowledgable, attentive and friendly. The food was a bit pricey in my opinion but we brought our own wine (Tuesday BYOB) so that helped keep our bill down. The only two cons: First, the restaurant was loud, even before it got busy. We were in a corner by the window and we still had to strain to hear each other. The other was the pew seating by the windows. Not very comfortable. The restaurant did, however, have pillows on the benches you could use for your back which did help. Overall, our group enjoyed the dining experience and would go back. We're hoping for sunshine so we can enjoy the outdoor seating near the canal.
We were there on fathers day. The waitress was slow, took too long to get our food, never said happy fathers day and it was obvious as we were there as a family. It was not busy at all so not sure why she was not more attentive. The quiche was ok. Bland and nothing else served with it. $12 for quiche is crazy - at least serve fruit or salad with it. The breakfast pizza was dry and bland. Barely any items on it but a big fat over easy egg in middle. We just expected more but was dissappointed. Not sure we would run right back there anytime soon.
Great food, excellent service. But man, was it LOUD. Was in the little alcove (by the window, nearest to the front door) and basically had to shout to talk to my friend sitting right across from me.
We came here for happy hour and got some cheap, strong drinks. Food was incredibly good and service was great. Would come here again.
The atmosphere was very nice, but we were seated against a wall near the kitchen and quickly felt forgotten about. Food was mediocre and my steak arrived although cooked well , it took quite some time to get a steak knife .I asked if I could have a different style potato and I was told, "I'm sorry, but the whipped potatoes are only for the evenings Special". I mean seriously? The coffee was so old and strong it tasted like it was made the day before, or scorched from sitting too long . I was so hoping for a nice experience and good food and I was disappointed. Not sure I will be rushing back there any time soon, nor will I be encouraging my friends to go there. I mean it was a Tuesday night, it wasn't packed. I expected better service for such an upscale ,non chain restaurant. I feel like I should have saved my money and just cooked for him myself.
We've been here a few times and the food is always good. Donut bread pudding is awesome. The service is a little slow and our waiter wasnt really very attentive - which is too bad as he had a trainee shadowing him.
The staff is attentive and very friendly. The ambiance is warm and easy to converse.
We had a great meal on a busy Friday night. The service was great with an attentive waiter who checked on us throughout the evening to be sure we didn't need anything.
We ordered the bread basket that came with a delicious assortment of crusty bread and dipping oil. We also shared the cioppino filled with a wonderful assortment of clams, mussels and fish. The broth was rich and delicious.
We will definitely return soon and bring friends.
The inside decor is great, but the outside sitting area needs much help: dead potted plants (in black plastic?), ugly, big black string lights, fence is stained and needs to be painted same color trim as rest of place or replace it so you can't see behind it, wires are hanging in bunches above wait area (really?), bar needs a cover/awning or something, the ditch or incline next to fence needs filling (did I see a garbage can?). How about placemats? Even paper would be OK. Also sounds like I have the same complaint as others: service is SLOW.
Good food, service, ambiance. However they don't know how to make a Cosmo (carbonation & grapefruit juice?)
I ordered a Ceasar salad with chicken and I swear it was the same chicken on the salad at Panera's for twice the price. I was not impressed. The atmosphere is lovely but the food is only fair.
Seated promptly by hostess. After that everything else was very very slow. Long wait times for our server, long wait times for our food and long wait times for our check. I couldn't understand why because the restaurant was not very busy.
The food was great, all 4 of us had the specials. The appetizers were a bit small for the price, and we had a rather large, loud group seated next to us. All and all though, we had a great meal. Can't wait to go back to sit outside!
Label 7 is an outstanding restaurant with great atmosphere and awesome food! The service was excellent!
Lunch menu was very limited but food was good and attractively presented.
Very limited menu, OK beer/wine list, service was pretty decent, but food quality and preparation was nothing special. We had an early (5:00) dinner reservation and were seated quickly in what we thought would be a quiet corner, but ended up trying to enjoy our dinner in the middle of a half dozen employees rushing all around our table, rearranging chairs, folding napkins, chatting, and running in and out of the kitchen. There was only one other couple in the whole dining room, so why seat us basically in what they knew would become a busy work area? I suppose they cater to the bar crowd and not to patrons wishing to have a nice quiet dinner. We paid, left and went across the road to Olives for desert and coffee. I highly recommend Olives ... Label 7, not so much.
Always a great meal at Label 7. Tonight was an extremely busy Thursday, but the start really all jumped in to provide amazing service and another great experience!
The only problem I had was that my steak was medium well done and I ordered medium rare. But the server handled the situation to my satisfaction.
Lobster Bisque for $6.00 a cup was broth with some chips of vegetables and even small pieces of what was, I suppose, lobster. It had absolutely no substance to it. There were no crackers served with the soup, but for an extra $3 you can order a bread board, but again expensive for what you got on your plate.
The salads were huge greens and the presentation on the dishes was very pretty'
The donut bread pudding sounded good but lacked in any custardy appeal. The addition of ice cream did not take away from the dry taste.
Our server was attentive but never ever asked us if we were enjoying our food.
Very weak menu choices nothing seems to go together if you would like nice dinner
There are so many places to eat in Pittsford, yet we always come back to Label 7! The menu is special, the food is delicious! When we have something special to celebrate, or the much needed date night, we always end up at Label 7! We love it! The Burger with Truffle Fries and Blueberry ketchup is a must!!
Big fan of Label 7. The LA chicken and waffles are SO delicious, the salads are SO much better than the standard fare and the service is always friendly and top-notch.
Good food. Nice bar. But way to loud in the dining room
Whether your looking for that juicy burger, BEST IN TOWN, or gourmet flavors, Label 7 is a must! The friendly staff and energetic environment are wonderful compliments to the fabulous food! The time/day one chooses to dine creates a variety of experiences: outdoor live music, indoor early/late for quieter romantic dining, or traditional dinner times/happy hours lend to lots of energy! At once the diner feels welcome, whether its your first or fiftieth dining experience! And although I love the sophistication and flavors of gourmet, Label 7's Calistoga Burger is "built" to perfection (w/ cured bacon, aged cheddar...& blueberry ketchup)! It's the juicest thing going in fine dining!
Label 7 has done a fantastic job developing the menu and renovating the bar area. The food is great, the drinks are great, and the atmosphere is great. Love this place!!
We enjoyed our dining experience here, and will definitely return. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, although it seemed like he was the only server on the floor, and it got busy. Consequently, it took a little longer to get our drinks refilled, but the food came out in a timely manner. I had the chicken and waffles (I had to try them). The chicken was battered and fried perfectly, but was a bit bland. A little salt and some spices in the batter would make a big flavor difference, I think. My dining companion had the sea scallops over risotto (a special), and raved about it even though he's not a big rice fan. We'll definitely be back to try the other menu items we saw. With the nice weather coming up, it will be nice to enjoy a good meal on their patio.
Chicken and waffles were on the menu... Couldn't go wrong!
We had to wait over an hour past our reservation time to be seated. Then our service was all over the place ( never asked if anyone wanted a second round of drinks, food coming out at different times). It was very noisy which was fine for us but if you want a quiet place not here on a Saturday.
We truly enjoyed this experience. The setting of the restaurant is unique and eclectic as was the menu. The food was delicious and the service was great.
We came for Valentine's day and were blown away by the food. The chicken and waffle is absolutely amazing, and the service was great. We will definitely be back!
Seevice was friendly and efficient. Didnt feel rushed on a holiday, which was amazing. Definitely will return.
We walked in with a reservation and were told that it was be another 10 minutes and were told to grab a drink at the bar. We walked up the stairs to the bar. So loud! I doubt in 10 minutes we would have even made it to the bar it was so crowded, so we just waited. We went back down to the hostess and waited another minute in the entryway to be seated. The speaker overhead was tripping water in the entry way. Once seated, we were given water. Our waiter took our drink order. Then came back to tell us the specials. He came back once more and took our appetizer order. Finally he came back with our drinks and we ordered dinner. Then we waited. After about 30 minutes, we asked our waiter about the appetizer. It was chips and cheese, nothing that should have taken that long. He came back shortly with homemade potato chips that were cold and our cheese. The port wine cheese was very good, however 5 minutes after we received our appetizer, our entrees arrived. I ordered the pizza margharita with chicken for $21. It was the size of a Pizza Hut personal pan pizza. The ingredients were fresh but the sauce had no flavor and the crust was awful. I couldn't even eat the crust and I love bread. I could have made a better naan pizza at home. My husband had the ribeye for $34. He said it was good, but not "that" good. Since I was still hungry we shared vanilla creme brûlée with strawberries. It was one strawberry sliced in half with a strawberry sauce on the side. The strawberry sauce was the best part of dinner. We would have licked the plate if we could. The meal was not worth the $100 price tag.
