First comment is that it is good to feel « at home » the overall staff was top notch ie courteous, efficient even if they obviously were under massive pressure. The seating and overall music and ambiance fully met our expectations. The wine list was perfect and if the food quality was good, I will next time ask to have the meat served separately from the sides and the sauce, as having everything piled up in one plate is not the best option. Finally the baguette was amazing even if not home made as well as the Tatin. To be explored further

Lovely visit to La Voile to celebrate our 34th wedding anniversary. We were seated in a smaller room out of the bustle of the main room. We shared two kinds of foie gras to start: terrine and pan-seared. So delicious! For dinner I had “La sole”, filleted at table side by our delightful server. This dish came with a generous portion of buttery truffled mashed potatoes. My husband had beef bourguignon and reported it was very tender and delicious. We shared La clafoutis for dessert, a crustless apple tart served with ice cream. All in all, a wonderful evening in a romantic spot on lively Newbury Street.

We've dined here a few times and are impressed each time. The service is fantastic. I was asking about the wines and the server was quick to suggest that the sommelier could help us, and he was so knowledgeable, pleasant, and asked us many questions of what types of wines, flavors, color that we have enjoyed before. So he was really keying in to what we like, and the bottle he recommended was lovely. The server was attentive and nice, and the food was excellent (steak frites). I love their French Fries, which is hard to find a restaurant who can make really delicious ones. The baguettes they serve are also delicious. An extremely enjoyable experience in every way.

La Voile on Newbury Street is one of the best restaurant gems in all of Boston. I have taken so many prominent friends and guests there over the years, and everyone has loved it. I have held corporate functions too - it's an amazing place, and I absolutely love going to La Voile. It's our family's go-to restaurant.

The food was delicious. The service was great. I love the Taste of France Menu 3 course option. The only downside was that it was so noisy that it hard for us to hear each other talk.

Fabulous evening at La Voile! Food, wine selection, service and ambience all outstanding. Server Sutton was outstanding, and Manager Alex stopped by several times to check-in on us. We had See Bass, cod, duck breast, and beef shoulder - all were superb! We shared a bottle of white Bordeaux with dinner and it was reasonably priced and perfect. Since we were celebrating a birthday they brought out a petite chocolate molten lava cake with a birthday candle, and the entire room sang happy birthday! It just could not have been better!
