I'll be glad when King Inslee says we can eat inside again.
The tarp roof setup for the outdoor seating was starting to leak a little on a rainy day we dined there, but otherwise, the experience was lovely.
This place was so perfect. The ambiance reminded me of France with the music, the dim lights, and the set up. The food was so delicious as well, I cannot wait to come back!
Our NYE dining experience was enjoyable. They had covered tables with heaters, and it was comfortable even outside. The food was very good, especially the bread, salad, and pasta, which tasted fresh and was well seasoned. The prices were not low, but the portions were sizable. I would definitely recommended.
We dinned for NYE and the food was not good. While some of the pastas are apparently home made, others are not. Ours was over cooked box pasta with little flavor and very overcooked shrimp. The chicken parm was thick and not very appetizing looking. It tasted ok but not great. The shrimp appetizer was bizarre and thoughtless with warm shrimp and onions over a bed of raw, wilting spinach - who thought that was a good idea?!
Also, the manager who sat us was rude and spoke to the crowd behind us asking for couples of two and people with reservations even though we were first in line with a reservation for 2. Strange and rude. All around, not a great experience and we will not be returning.
They did not honor the reservation via open table even though we reached on time . They said that they stopped taking reservations from open table. We had to wait for 30-50 min by creating a new in person reservation
A very warm and inviting patio and fabulous staff. The chef knows his way around a cream sauce too!
Delicious food! Excellent service!
We love La Vita e Bella! Last week, during the pandemic, we ate outside on their patio with warm heaters right above us. The employees are fabulous, warm and welcoming. Our food as usual was amazing! Check them out
Good, parking can be a challenge and quite a bit of randomness In the sidewalks if you sit outside
Wow! Absolutely phenomenal food and service. We sat outside and were toasty warm with the multitude of both free-standing and ceiling heaters. I hardly go back to the same restaurant twice, but I will definitely be coming back to this one!
La Vita E Bella never disappoints. The cioppino was outstanding as was the service. I'll be back soon.
We tried a couple of new things on the menu and we're wonderfully surprised.
Super super yummy. Will recommend to friends. I loved my pasta.
Very nice restaurant with excellent service. Prices were good and food was also!
My husband enjoyed a nice night out here. The food was delicious and not as expensive as I thought it would be. Great outdoor seating as well. We sat inside, the door was open for ventilation and they spaced each party at a great distance. It was nice and relaxing =)
Great food at a reasonable price. Atmosphere is very old school "neighborhood bistro" and so are the clientele and service. Which is great. Food was delicious and I'd go back in a heartbeat.
Wonderful neighborhood gem! The noise level was only moderate this time versus quiet because we were sitting outside on a Friday evening & there were a lot of people walking by. I have been going to this restaurant for 20 years!! The food is delicious and the service is excellent.
One of our favorite Seattle restaurants. The food and the service is always outstanding.
The food was so yummy! The waitstaff was nice, the atmosphere was cozy and the wine list was awesome.
It has become a favorite and since they are one of a few good restaurants open now, it gets busy, but safe.
Excellent Italian food!
Great food, COVID safe service :) had a lovely dinner!
While the decor could use a little updating, there was no arguing that the food was truly authentic and delicious. Our group enjoyed the pasta, salad, pizza and great value wines. The service was also very attentive. Highly recommend.
Delicious desserts and special presentation for a birthday celebration.
we asked for a custom pasta dish and they happily complied with a delicious penne in creamy tomato sauce concoction.
Food and service are both awesome. It was a birthday dinner. The staff sang happy birthday song with us. Very nice.
One of the few places we were able to find pasta in the area. My food was fantastic, but my husband’s was on the cold side. Dessert was mediocre but satisfied the sweet tooth. Service was very good.
Such a great dining experience; we’ll be sure to visit each time we are in town.
Appetizers were great
Bread / water cane at same time as appetizers
Service was slow under owner caught on that we weren’t being attended to - was a little too late
Main meal was very good.
We love La Vita E Bella. It is a neighborhood gem in Belltown! The owner and waiters know us as we have been to the restaurant often, and they greet us warmly every time. The pasta on this occasion was and is always cooked al dente, and the sauces are rich and delicious! We usually order Italian red wines by the glass and enjoy dinner on the patio during the summer. Prices are good, and we usually take home leftovers for another meal. Salads are a generous size and are great for two people. Also the Italian bread they serve is lightly toasted and the olive oil and spices for dipping are fabulous!
Try out La Vita E Bella. You will be glad you did!
This was my second time at this restaurant. I really liked my food the first time, I did not like it the second time.
One of our favorite Seattle restaurants the food is always great and the service superb. In addition, it's always fun to have old Frank Sinatra songs playing in the background.
We wanted to support one of our favorite restaurants during all the Covid-19 disruptions. We went on a Saturday night and were heartened to see a goodly number of others there as well. The food, as always, was outstanding and the service great.
First time at this local restaurant, food and service were both really good, will definitely be back. Had the lasagna which was very meaty, delicious.
We had reservations but got there 15 late they were able to seat us at the bar. You cannot be late for rezzys at this place. You cannot get upset if they cannot seat you right away. It is worth the wait!! Great food! I had the carbonara and it was sensational. My husband has the pasta da mare and thought it was very good and not too heavy. Place is small and you will definitely need reservations on the weekend! Staff is nice but can get a little brusque when service heats up. Overall excellent food for the price. Highly recommend!
Got there 5 minutes early for our reservation and were told it would be 30-45 minutes. What is the point of having open table. Rude hostess.
We chose to dine here for Valentine’s Day. Everything was lovely. We had the crab ravioli and it was delicious. We felt very welcome and had a great time.
Delicious food and great service! Even catered a dish to be meat free for me! Staff was very nice.
Some of the best food in town. Always ask what the pasta special is. It's usually to die for.
It was pretty good. The wait staff was a little brusque, but maybe because they were busy. Food was ok.
