Great meal before the Kraken game! Excellent service, lots of menu options, everything was served perfectly for our large party.
Pedro is charming and works very hard to make sure everything is perfect!
I had elk- in a port wine reduction. My wife had carbonara. Both excellent and the chianti and desserts just topped off an excellent dinner overall. The music they played was old school jazz. We love this place.
New Year’s Eve dinner was spectacular. We look forward to visiting you again soon!
Excellent quality food and service. Went there with my husband and son and we all enjoyed our meals. We started with the clam and mussel appetizer, my husband had the Spaghetti al Mare, my son had the salmon special and I had the Rigatoni con Pesce. Fresh ingredients for all. The Peroni and two glasses of red wine were also excellent. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. Parking was a challenge.
Four separate dishes, each superb. Absolutely authentic Italian. Soooo good. Would go back in a heartbeat.
Service was ok and wasn’t too impressed with the meal. The brochette was flavorless, a little disappointed
Food is delightful and is no repeat of what you would get at another Italian Bistro. Very good an enjoyable
Lovely Italian bistro with a very traditional menu— lots of pastas and pizzas especially. We had an excellent Caesar salad and one of the best capresse salads I’ve ever had. Chicken parm was fine; veal portofino a bit overcooked though. We were suggested an excellent bottle of wine at a very fair price. Ambiance is very cozy, not loud so easy to hold a conversation. People were seated at heated tent enclosed tables outside and they seemed very comfortable. Our server was excellent. Will return!
Great service and delicious food!
Our experience was so-so. For was good, but not great. Service was friendly and attentive. The biggest negative was the table we were seated at....in the dingiest corner of the restaurant, near the entryway to the restrooms. This despite making a reservation several days in advance and arriving early. Manager insisted all other empty tables were spoken for, and did not really make an effort to accede to our request. Table location destroyed the dining experience as we did not get to absorb the overall ambiance of the establishment, rather were treated to a view of the backroom operations in the somewhat dingy kitchen annexe. An active, energetic open kitchen is a joy to watch. Observing wait staff pull pre-made salads/appetizers out of a cooler...not so much.
We picked this restaurant from Open Table recommendations and so we’re not sure what to expect. We were blown away. The people were so warm and welcoming. The food was outstanding. We had a bruschetta appetizer with eggplant and it was excellent. For dinner, we had two different gnocchi dishes, a ravioli dish, and one of the pizzas. All was excellent. They had a great wine selection which was not too expensive. We cannot wait to go back.
Service was fast, dinner was good. Had pasta this time but will definitely try the pizza next time.
A wonderful birthday meal with great food and service. Wonderful bday desert too
Service was less than great and food was okay not great.
Fantastic dinner for our family birthday dinner! Excellent service and loved the food & cocktails
The service was great. Friendly, attentive staff. We ordered a great bottle of wine which our server recommended and it did not disappoint. She took our appetizer and dinner order, and within 5 minutes our salads were delivered…before our appetizer, which was a little strange. My salad was ok, lots of mozzarella chunks, tomatoes, celery and olives, but didn’t have much flavor. The clam appetizer was good, but broth a tad too salty! The pizza was just ok, again, not much flavor. Would I go,back? No.
We stop by this restaurant on a rainy week night. We shared a clam/mussel dish for appetizer, I had fettuccine tarfuto, and a glass of rose. The pasta is a lit bit on the
Food was very good. Caprese salad and olive bruschetta fresh and tasty.
Amazing food, good wine selection and yummy deserts. Service was a little slow , but everyone is understaffed so I understand. We had wine appetizers and dinner for 4 for 200, great value
Thanks for a fun evening! We love the truffle pasta!
Worse service I think we have ever received, I wanted a drink that included Hot Tea and was told they didn't serve tea. What restaurant doesn't have tea?? Ordered a bottle of Wine and had to have the waitress go back a second time to get the right bottle, and to finish off the night we didn't get asked if we wanted desert, waited almost a 1/2 hr for the check and about the same time we were getting anxious for the bill, the staff "showed up" with are meals that we have just eaten. Wow...! Restaurant goes heavy on the red sauces, so watch what you order. Great seeing our friends but won't go back.
Good location, parking available, nice setting, reasonable prices and service, and food is very good for the price.
The food is okay. But the ambiance is great and the staff is very nice!
The drinks and wine were okay, but still a good spot for friends and family.
Choose to have a business lunch at La Vita E Bella, based on their website and information on OpenTable and was not disappointed. Our server was very personable, the service was great and our food was excellent. I had their meatballs and spaghetti, which was a large portion (I took the left overs home and enjoyed them the next day). Our server recommended an excellent Italian red, Dolcetto I think, which paired beautifully with our meals. After having an espresso, our waiter surprised us with a small pour of port. I now have another reason to visit the Belltown area of Seattle and will again soon!
Quaint neighborhood restaurant. Great food and service
Incredible food, kind staff, perfect for a date night or family meal
sat outside, appreciated that option and the heaters,
service was excellent, food was good, great neighborhood place to meet up with friends,
We went to La Vita e Bella for the first time, to celebrate my parents' 50th anniversary, and it was INCREDIBLE!!! The food was delicious, the staff were wonderful and the ambience was warm and charming. They brought us delicious tiramisu on the house, and helped make this celebration extra special.
I can't wait to come back to this truly wonderful restaurant!!!
The food was wonderful and the atmosphere was cozy. The specials of the night were out of this world. 100% going again.
A reliable neighborhood restaurant that offers a large variety of pasta dishes, fish and chicken. The lasagna made on premises and is made with a rich tomato sauce.
This place has good reviews so we thought we’d try somewhere new. Unfortunately, this is not a 4.5. Service was slow then suddenly my dinner showed up while my companions were eating salad. The carprese had virtually no basil - mainly other greens. They were out of gnocchi at 7pm on a Saturday evening. The veggies on the chicken dishes were dry and my carbonara was not that silky smooth sauce you expect. Flavor was good, just not the right texture. Do not get the pistachio gelato. It is pre-made and put into the deep freeze. Server insisted that gelato is supposed to be rock hard so that a spoon can’t make a dent. I don’t know where she’s had gelato but it isn’t Italy. The funniest thing was being told “gracias” on our way out of an Italian-Sicilian restaurant. Perhaps “ciao” would be correct?
Great family owned sicilian Italian food! Great wine menu :) very warm inside tho, want to strip naked i was so hot.
After reading the reviews our dinner was a major disappointment. The service was really bad bringing our main course before our appetizer. And the food was not very good and way overpriced. Maybe Seattle likes Italian food this way but in San Francisco we have different standards
The food was good but average. They made accommodations for my daughter who is vegan so that was nice. The gnocchi were very good. Wine selection is decent.
Large outdoor patio, everyone’s meal was great. Service was a little slow, but assume they were understaffed like most places. Definitely return
Solid quality southern Italian comfort food. No muss or fuss, just tasty. We enjoyed some brushcetta (cuz why eat plain bread when you can eat bread with delicious toppings), spinaci crepe, and spaghetti carbonara and fettuccini funghi, chocolate tartuffo. Sleeper hit was the crepe. GET a CREPE!! Service was relaxed, friendly, and attentive but not obtrusive (I am industry for 20+ years). We will be back for sure!
Great place - ambience, reliably good food, friendly (but sometimes slow) service.
This was absolutely one of the best tasting Italian restaurants we have ever eaten at, and that includes Naples, Florence, and Rome. World travelers and eat out is US regularly so that is a knowledgable compliment. Try it out for sure if in Seattle.
Good food. Ftiendly saff.
I continue to come here! One of my favorites is the cioppino. And don’t miss the limoncello dessert! Lots of outdoor dining seating as well
