La Vista - Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino
The lobster buffet was ‘okay’, with the lobster tails being super-small. Sushi was very good, everything else was plentiful. However, at a $69/pp price, I would have expected more. Notwithstanding, we enjoyed a beautiful sunset seating, always a plus at La Vista.
Good selection of food in the buffet. Lots of options.
Great experience celebrating my birthday !! Service was great, food excellent, we had a wonderful time.
We've been here for breakfast many times. First time for dinner. Everything was very good. Mabel took great care of us. It was also great to see Gracia again. Will definitely return again!
Staple breakfast spot and outstanding buffet. Great location in front of the beach.
We enjoyed our brunch @ la vista very much our server Rosa was very kind and lovely to us with a great service behind it by Rosa.!
Enjoyed the food but didn’t receive Open Table points for the reservation.
One of the best places on the island. Mouth watering food with an outstanding service in a cozy ambiance! And for a picky dessert person like me, the improved dessert table gets an A++.
Great Sunday brunch. So many options! Sat outside which was nice. Just make sure you cover plates and drinks when you get up. Alot of birds flying around!
Just be aware that on Sunday's breakfast is till 10.00 am. After 10.00 am its brunch.
Sea bass was excelent
We always spend a couple of evenings here when on the island.. The Buffet and food presentation was great.. The fresh sea food and shell fish were wonderful, plentiful and great quality, pasta bar was equally as good.. Plenty to choose from and table service for beverage and pickup was very good.. Felt appreciated, and look forward to another visit.

I love going there best omlet ever!! And im local.
Mother’s Day brunch
Great brunch. We went for mother’s day and they always make it special Service and staff were awesom.
Great place, just too much smoking and I don't smoke, they should allow for non-smokers a chance to breathe fresh air
A bit over priced. Great staff. Great food
I am a customer of la vista. They used to put extras on holidays. Like live music. A bunny with prizes. The food was excellent as always but there was nothing extra and the price was higher. We got the same food as always. I was there for New Years day also same thing. I suggest live music on Holidays and something new on the menu. For the rest everything was ok
Service needs work! Very Friendly staff but not the best servers. The view at sunset is beautiful and the food was good but nothing amazing. We didn’t do the buffet we ordered off the menu. Very clean place and again the staff was friendly but compared to other restaurants on the island they don’t have dinner time serving down if you are ordering g off the menu. If you are just doing buffet you might feel differently.
We had a reservation with outdoor seating. When we arrived (on time), we were told that they didn't have anymore outdoor seating because they gave it away to walk-ins. They figured out a solution to get us seated outside, but server was lack-luster at best. She really pushed the buffet vs. ordering from the menu when we were first seated. It took her over 15 minutes to come back and take our order. When we told here we were ordering from the menu, she was visibly put-out. Additionally, never took our drink order and we had to flag down another server to get those ordered. After our orders were placed, the food arrived in a timely fashion (with an appropriate stagger between our appetizers and entrees). The appetizers were good but the entrees were "ok" at best...not bad but not anything to rant and rave about. Disappointing experience, especially because I had eaten breakfast there twice before and the food and service were both really good during the mornings.
Just ok buffet food
Service is excellent
The restaurant has the potential of greatness but it’s a very basic place - the dinner buffet is meh! The menu is far too standard, with the same items you’d get anywhere at a basic bar and grill in the US. The prices however are high. This being our first night at the Marriott, where it’s located, we went for dinner, but I believe there are better places to pay ~$50 a person
We went to La Vista when they were having their weekly lobster buffet. I think it was overpriced at $69 pp and the food was average at best. We were also consistently pestered by black flies landing on our meal and had to move inside. That took away from the anticipated ambiance of the evening. We will likely try this restaurant another time but we'll never go to to the lobster buffet again. It was disappointing.
We had dinner at La Vista on a Saturday evening for their lobster buffet. Would not recommend, $70 per person and the food was marginal at best. Every other meal that we had while visiting Aruba was fantastic.
It was a wonderfull evening.
My family enjoy everything
It was a treat to dine with you today. The food was delicious, the variety extraordinary. Natasha was a delightful server!!
We had the buffet, many choices, everything was very good. The wait staff was excellent, very pleasant outdoor dining. The Carnivale Dance Show was very nice also.
Last week we visited La Vista and had a good experience...good enough to bring us back for another visit! This time the experience was a disaster! Once seated it took 25 minutes just to get a drink order placed, another 10 unites to get the drinks. Because of the miserable start to the meal we opted for the buffet. This too turned our to be a mistake...most of the items were picked over or just plane gone, not to be replaced. When we returned to the table form our first visit to the buffet our table had been cleared and wiped clean...including our drinks! Now they had to be replaced, which took another 10 minutes. This repeated itself once more. The crowing event was that the desert table had run out of ice cream, vanilla ice cream, the staple for most buffet deserts was gone and not to be replaced. We have been to Marriotts all around the world and never have encountered a more poorly run, badly organized, and confused wait staff resulting in such a poor experience. This resturant will not be on our agenda during future visits.
We went for the lobster and seafood buffet. it was delicious. A lot of variety. Lobster tails. Salads pasta seafood shrimp crab legs etc.
Once again, went to Saturday Lobster and Prime Rib night and it was AWESOME. If you go, definetly try the Lobster Bisque and add extra lobster to it. You won’t regret it. The service is awesome too. You will love it!
We went to LaVista for dinner on a Saturday night (2/16/19). Buffet option only for $69.00 pp which we thought was very pricey. A lot of options but nothing I could say that tasted outstanding for that price. I wish there were menu options also and not just the buffet option. Families walked away after hearing the cost of the buffet only. The one plus was there were a lot of options to choose from and the price comes from Lobster tails on the buffet(which were very over-cooked) I would not recommend this buffet. One of the questions was for service, but it was a buffet so we helped ourselves. They did have waitstaff clearing dirty dishes and bringing the bill to the table.
Good, but not distinguished food. Good service. Convenient. Menu would benefit from more variety.
La vista has an attractive setting on the Marriott grounds, so we decided to give them a try. We reviewed the menu but were not enthralled. The server seemed to assume we would want the buffet. I looked at the buffet offerings, saw grouper and decided it was okay for me. My wife settled on the pasta bolognese because she could not justify paying the price for a buffet. We were both disappointed. My wife’s bolognese, was priced at over $30, and was terrible. We have never paid that much for bolognese anywhere, especially for bolognese with little to no beef in the sauce. My grouper from the buffet was swimming or drowning in some kind of sauce. Grouper is one of our favorite meals, but this one was awful. We were puzzled by the number of positive reviews. We can only surmise there are a lot of guests who are happy with large volumes of food rather than well prepared meals. For those, I say go at it. For others who want quality, I say go elsewhere.
We had the buffet and there was a very good selection of various types of food - make your own pasta, sushi, salad options, main cousrse meals, good desserts, soup, fruit, etc. The service was excellent and the restaurant was nicely decorated. Would definitely return and would recommend this restaurant.
Fish selection is not as wide as Aquarius.
We’ve had dinner at La Vista numerous times when visiting Aruba. The service is always excellent and the staff is very friendly. The food is always great with a very nice selection at the buffet.
Average food served in a beautiful, outdoor setting. Good if you are just arriving at the resort, tired from the travel, and are not ready to venture out.
Buffet was average. We had to sit inside because of the birds. You did to fix this problem!
