La Vista - Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino Ratings and Reviews
Awesome meal!!! All you can eat grilled Carlbbean lobster and prime rib we're excellent and well worth the price!! Everything else on the buffett were just as good. It may not have been an extensive variety, but what they offered was top quality! Service was exceptional!
The service was wonderful as well as the food. My only criticism is that they told me that I didn’t keep my reservation. Even though I had a confirmation for the time they arrived, they insisted I was late. They even reported me to Open Table whom I booked it through.
We went to the seafood buffet. There is an excellent selection for seafood lovers, as well as non-seafood lovers. The salad bar also has a wide variety of ingredients to satisfy the salad enthusiasts. The desert selection was ok-- especially liked the small portions so sampling more than one desert isn't wasteful. In my opinion, if you can't find something you like here, I'd say you were especially fussy.
We went here for Lobster Nite again and got Ryan as our server again like last year! Everything was excellent...quality of food, service and ambiance! A great variety of fresh and delicious dishes to choose from, very friendly and attentive service, restaurant is very clean and a pleasure to dine in! We would definitely dine here again and would recommend to any one looking for an excellent upscale restaurant with reasonable prices.
We enjoyed the wait staff as they were very talkative and humorous with their recommendations. There was a buffet, but we chose a la carte from the menu. We both got sea bass and a glass of reisling. The sea bass tasted slightly fishy to me, but the accompaniments were delicious, with the cheese sauce, mashed sweet potatoes and green beans. There was bread pudding on the menu, but we were too full to endulge. The bread was okay, but not very flavorful.
We had an awesome buffet breakfast on our friends' last day in Aruba. The Eggs Benedict was outstanding and so was everything else. The only exception was the Corned Beef Hash- that used to be my favorite at La Vista. Now I can't even eat it. But the Paninies (sp?) and the omelets and bread selection are all excellent.
I went on Saturday for the seafood buffet on 7/15 for $64.00 dollars a person for me and my husband. All I can say it was not worth it. Beware , spend your money on a good meal elsewhere. I am from the state of Massachusetts and I know I am use the the Maine Lobsters and seafood where I live but when i went to this restaurant in Aruba, and i am giving you my honest opinion it was just not worth the money that they were charging probably half would have been acceptable and I really thought I was going to receive this great Carribean buffet of seafood.. The lobster tiny half tale that is given in this buffet the meat was tough, very minimal selective of seafood, shrimp, very very miniature crab claws ? The crabs are tiny in the Carribean area, mussels, and oysters which my husband said was okay nothing to rave over that was it for seafood, no drinks at all on the buffet menu had to order separate, glass of red wine $12.00 one glass. The waitress, who was nice but very quiet never explained if you wanted more than water it was extra. This restaurant is not worth it go else where I even went to the breakfast buffet on one of my days there at the hotel and that menu was not worth it either for the price. I had wished I had spent my money elsewhere at a better restaurant, either tried next door at Ritz Carlton restaurant, or even Ruth Chris steak house the $64.00 dollars a piece would have paid for 2 Prime steaks and would have been worth it. To say none the less I was very disappointed in this restaurant when I had my seafood buffet dinner there. Just writing my review for someone else does not have to experience this.....
Menu is limited, nothing online to tell us what type of food. Choices on buffet style, which we weren't interested to have for our meal.
We had the steak salad and that was really good. There were no options for other steak dishes.
Seating options were nice with a beautiful view
Great food. This is was a Sunday Brunch and there was no lacking of dishes. Seafood, Prime rib chicken salad dessert and more. The omelette maker had plenty of choices as well as waffles and pancakes. We had a group of 10 and we were quite comfortable. Service was great and mimosas flowing.
Great lobster buffet. While there appeared to be many items on the buffet from sushi to prime rib to a nice salad selection, the star of the night was the roasted Caribbean lobster tails. We found these appropriately roasted & already split for easy eating. We also found the dessert bar plentiful and delicious. Service was extraordinary as always. Sitting outside, we got to enjoy another Arabian sunset plus a beach wedding reception. The price of $65 pp was high.
We love the Saturday night lobster buffet at La Vista restaurant. Great selection of shellfish and Mediterranean lobster as well as beef, chicken, excellent salad bar and many yummy desserts. We think it's a great value and return every year we are in Aruba.
Lobster buffet on Saturday nights is fantastic. 66 per person isn't too cheap but if your a lobster lover maybe you can justify that price like I did.
On the down side the buffet is the only option on Saturday nights, no regular menu. So it might not be worth it for you to pay 66 dollars for your 14 year old to eat only the spaghetti.
Good choice for an evening meal; well prepared with many choices from tenderloin to pasta station and sushi & ceviche bar, yummy mashed & hot cookedcveggies, fresh bread, scrumptious salads... Desserts could improve, such as an El Goucho chocolate mouse cake!!!!! But their ice cream is very creamy. Thanks for a fun evening!!
We always have breakfast at La Vista the morning of our departure. We've come to know that we won't be disappointed. Top notch service and always a wonderful buffet, we go home teary-eyed , but satisfied! We love how they redid the outside dining area. Gone are the nets to ward off the birds, replaced with a roof, but still they come…a welcomed treat!
The omelette station is always a hit, as is the local fare. Highly recommend your last meal before leaving the island! Danki!
