Here at La Verona we make it the way you like. Our Private room makes your party special and enjoyable. Let us spoil you.
We were seated immediately upon entering. I had made a reservation but it did not appear one was necessary, at least at the time we arrived. Bread was brought over as soon as we settled into our table which greatly pleased my three year old. Our server was attentive, quick, and our food arrived within a very reasonable time frame. There was also a team work approach, as other servers checked on us while we dined as well. The food was very good. Only slight negative is that my toddlers pasta with butter had several spoonfuls of butter sitting at the bottom of it; I did not feel it was necessary to mention “light butter” when I ordered, but it did seem a bit excessive as no kid needs that much butter, but he was happy. I would recommend this restaurant to others and would definitely dine here again.
We took our special Mother to La Verona for M’s Day and were very pleasantly surprised! We all kept commenting that we should have tried it sooner. Everything was great except for the industry standard, Limited Mother’s Day menu. We plan on returning to try some of the other menu items. Definitely a nice, little hidden gem in Kennett.
A little pricey but good food.
Great food slow service a pattern for this restaurant.
The Octopus and artichoke appetizers are excellent!!! The bar serves a nice drink as well. I enjoyed my salmon over spinach salad but my husband thought his steak was tasty but a bit tough. Overall a great experience!
The food was really good. One of my favorites. Been going here for years. Took my friends here for their first time and they said they would definitely come back.
The food was amazing and the staff was kind and attentive. We live far away but plan on coming back as soon as we can!
La Veronna always offers void food for a reasonable price. Staff is attentive and knowledge of all items on the menu.
This is our second time here. An amazing experience. Waitress was very attentive. Everyone is helpful. The food was delicious. So glad we came with family. We are from LI and just moved here a year ago and still trying to find good places that would be like LI restaurants. La Verona does not disappoint.
Excellent service and very good food. Will definitely return.
I really don’t know that we will be back. The server jumped directly to specials before she asked us if we would like something to drink. I worked in the restaurant business for 4 summers and you always asked that question first. We were not in a hurry however she seemed to be. A server works for tips. Adding alcohol increases the check. Simple. Our appetizer was good, the calamari could have been fried a bit more. Our mains, veal picatta and chicken parmigiana were average. My husbands pasta was cooked unevenly, if that’s possible. I understand al dente but he isn’t a fan. We drove down to Kennett for a change of pace, to get away from West Chester. I think we’ll stick with Limoncello from now on when we want an authentic meal. Also, their beer menu was lacking. I know, it’s an Italian restaurant but you only have one ipa on draft and it’s just tapped? Sadly, it was just average. Maybe one day but not anytime soon.
Excellent selection of very good Italian cuisine.
Always like the veal dishes, the tiramisu is the best in the area, including Phila.
Service was top notch. Chicken Arrabiata was terrific.
Good menu and the food was delicious and a nice quiet surroundings
Never disappointed here. Great food. Lots of choices. Wide variety.
Great food & service. I have several food allergies and our server & the kitchen paid extra attention. Very appreciated.
The food was ok. I the ambiance was weird. Decor was trying to be fancy and music was pop. All that aside the food was ok but pretty expensive considering. Also no dedicated kids menu.
Pretty good itialian cuisine. I had the seafood fruit de mare over linguini. Not the best I've had but affordable and tasty. Side Note: Bathrooms were a mess so my advice to the owners is to jeep those clean.
Always a great experience at La Verona. The bartender was energetic, kind and attentive and the tap beer was great. We then chose to dine in the restaurant for dinner & the waitress was friendly & service was good. The food never dissapoints. Both my husband and I love La Verona!
Good food weekend they have local music. Very welcoming place to dine.
Great food and drinks, their calamary and mushroom ravioli were amazing. It would be nice if they had some music.
La Verona is a good restaurant. We chose to go early when it is quiet so we could talk and enjoy our meal. The food is always good, service was also. The restaurant seems to be popular, has music on the several nights later on. The decor is a little tired but other than that is a nice place to meet friends in busy Kennett Square. We will go back again.
First learned of La Verona during the 2018 Mushroom Festival and were quite impressed, told ourselves we needed to check out further. (6 months later) After spending a day at Longwood Gardens, we decided on dinner at La Verona to keep out promise to ourselves. The appetizers of roasted artichoke hearts and antipasto were fabulous. They can be a light meal in themselves. My wife had the salmon special and I had the veal parm. Both done to our highest expectations and we were not disappointed. Finished with spumoni and raspberry cheesecake along with savory coffee. We love the old world Italian atmosphere and the food is fantastic. Italian lovers - you won't be disappointed!
Party of four......three of the four enjoyed their meals. Veal piccata was very tough/unetable. Waitress couldn't stop trying to rush us through the dinner ...I guess to turn over table. Tables in bar area are nice...large back room is noisy/crowded.
Good food and service. Arrived at 2:15 pm so was quite quiet.
Another terrific meal w great and professional service by Poi (sp). This has become a favorite of ours and much of it is due to the very personal welcome we receive from owner, Sam. We greatly appreciate it and look forward to our next visit
A good northern Italian restaurant in the quaint town of Kennet Square, PA
Celebrated by Husband's birthday and had a very nice time
La Verona have become one of our favorite in the area! Consistently great food, service and atmosphere!
The food was excellent and the service was perfect. We read other reviews about people getting bad service, but we were pleasantly surprised. Great place!
Great food and friendly service. While the veal parmesan is delicious, went with the fish special and was not disappointed. Portions are generous so you get your money's worth. Not our first trip and won't be our last.
One of the best places in the area for seafood pasta plates. The portions and quality are outstanding. Quickly becoming one of our favorite places.
Really didn't enjoy either entree we purchased. Mine was extremely oily and my husband's tortellini had so much sauce it was like soup. My kale risotto was undercooked and way over seasoned with basil. Didn't see any kale.
We had a very nice meal. The service was very good and the food was as well. I would definitely return.
Service was excellent and the food top notch! Glad we were able to make a reservation
We purchased a Groupon which could be used Sunday-Thursday. They wouldn’t honor it on the Thursday we were there because it was Valentines Day.
One of our favorite restaurants in Kennett Square area. We have had family dinners there as well as special occasion celebrations as a couple. Love the food, staff and settings.
Good experience, tasty food.
Our server ( a young woman) I believe you spell it Poi was superb. The food (I had duck, my husband had veal Parmesan was great and the servings were generous) was delicious. Of course we had the mushroom soup and I ordered the roasted artichokes as well. I finished mine off with the tiramisu and a glass of Italian wine that the server suggested. We lingered over dinner in the corner by the fire and then went down to see old friends at the Kennett Flash. Dinner made the evening perfect.
