La. Verona is the best Italian around Sam and the crew are the best. You must eat there
Love this place. Food is always good, and the staff is friendly and helpful.
Always a wonderful meal and experience.
As always, excellent food & service!! Prices are reasonable. Great atmosphere and right in the heart of Kennett Square!
One of our favorite places to dine. Menu varies, food and menu always fresh. Nice place to dine on date night or with friends
It was our first time dining with La Verona and it was very welcoming from the moment we walked in. We were 10 mins early for our reservation and were seated right away
The service was great. Not too pushy not too distant. We stayed roughly 1 hr 45 mins. Had a bottle of wine, some apps, main course, and dessert.
Our waitress was great. She recommended dishes, was friendly and just an all around nice person to have side conversations with when she came by.
Last but not least, the food was spectacular!! From the anti pasta, and roasted artichoke app, to the main courses and dessert, everything was authentic, great tasting and fresh! We would recommend this lovely Italian restaraunt to anyone for any occasion.
Great selection of classic italian choices
We always enjoy our visits to La Verona. The manager sat us at a lovely table for four in front of the fireplace. Our waiter Mike was terrific - witty, friendly, professional, efficient. Food was delicious - we ordered gnocchi, saltimbocca and the seafood & linguini special with a spicy sauce. Very good price for the quality & portions. Wine & drinks also quite good. After dinner we moved into the bar for drinks and to listen to the band, and Mike again waited on us. Very happy evening all around. We will be back again soon.
We came for Easter after a several-hours' stroll at Longwood Gardens. The staff was friendly and attentive, the food delicious with some intersting creations. We would be regulars here if it weren't so far from home. But we will return again.
It was a very pleasant experience!!
We Had a great dinner I order special Veal Osso Buco o man o man it was the best I ever had very tender and flavorful wit porcini mushrooms! Talk about service Mike was very attentive and funny next time we will ask for him!
Got together with two former work friends. Friendly service, great menu, delicious food. The restaurant itself is set up nicely. There is a beautiful bar area with high top tables. The other side is a good size room with booths and tables, plus a fireplace! Our three different entrees were all good sized portions, nicely displayed, and hot! We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening and had a nightcap at the bar before leaving.
The food was excellent. I had the grilled octopus and the bronzino. Both were fresh and delicious. My husband had the fried calamari and the chicken parmigiana. He said the calamari was tender and the red sauce was very tasty.
I love La Verona! I always enjoy it every time we go there. Hannah
Anissa was wonderful and a truly hard working server. Sam
Is a great host and we always love our meal there. La Verona is the best for Italian food
The food was very good however the noise level is very loud. We went to dinner at 6:15 and it was already quite loud. There were a few times I couldn’t even hear what the waitress was saying. But overall experience was good I would go back
We come to this restaurant whenever we go to Longwood Gardens. The food is homemade and exceptional. The raviolis are the best my husband and I have ever had.
Pleasant downtown restaurant. Good service and reasonably priced.
The service was excellent, the food was good (but pricey and not enough food) but the restaurant itself was extremely noisy.
Everything was great again we went on Saturday night and it was very busy we wait for few minutes for a table and we got a nice table by the fireplace!
They really have a very nice wine list we got a bottle of Barolo for $65 very reasonable price and the Dinner was excellent and service was everything on time!
Overall great dining experience and convenient location. Food and drinks were excellent. Service was prompt, the food and flavor matched the surroundings.
Great food, drinks, service - we will be back again!
They honored my phne call because it was a birthday and I wanted the bill and they had a piece of cake with a candle at the end of dinner and several staff joined in to sing Happy Birthday. Great evening.
Very fresh ingredients prepared in traditional manner. Good food and service. Reasonable price. Very enjoyable evening.
Awesome as usual!! We love La Verona, Sam and his team are the best! Food is always great, atmosphere is perfect for family or for a date!
Quiet, clean, awesome selections. Bar drinks are huge!
Nice restaurant. Food and service were excellent. Concert venue next door created a lot of noise.
This is not the first time we have dined here and it certainly won't be the last. Our grandkids go to Kennett High School, so we come over to the area as often as we can. But, even though it is a little less than an hour drive, we have come here just to eat at LaVerona. The wine and martini were great, the service great, the appetizers especially the mushroom soup and the roasted artichokes are incredible. I had veal with prosciutto and it was tender and quite delicious, with a wonderful linguini. Great mushroom dishes as expected in the area. It is worth any drive to come here to dine The host/sometimes bartender is so friendly and gracious; you feel welcome from the moment you step in the door
The food was amazing and the Waiter was very attentive and entertaining.
Highly recommend it. One minus once the live music came in it was impossible to have
a conversation in the dining room.
We went at La Verona for Late Dinner and for music! Everything was excellent and good wine selection and La Verona is one of are favored in area!
There red pasta sauce is so good. I really enjoyed the food.. good ole Italian food
We always enjoy visiting La Verona. The food is great and the staff is so friendly. Pasta is always done perfectly. Great selection of beer and wines. If you are coming out to Longwood Gardens I highly recommend stopping by La Verona. You'll be happy you did.
Friday night 630 dinner for four. The restaurant was surprisingly not busy. We were greeted and seated immediately. I had the seafood and lobster ravioli and it was a large serving. Scallops, calamari in a light marinara sauce over the ravioli. It was tasty and filling. My wife had the veal saltimbocca which was also delicious. Our server gave us consistent but not overbearing attention. And we did not feel rushed to leave. Overall the ambiance felt a little tired. We would visit again.
Very good waitress and the meal was served timely. Good value and would return.
We have eaten at La Verona several time. The food is consistently good and the restaurant is not too loud, so you are able to have a conversation without yelling. The service is great.
Wonderful location, excellent service, supposedly comfortable friendly environment. Greet fireplace added the warmth and charm. Entree was generous and nicely plated. Mushroom soup was best I’ve tasted in years.
Dinner was very good. Was a little noisy but it was New year's Eve so expected.
We got the table by the window that we requested, enjoyed our waiter, had a nice generous properly chilled glass of wine, and liked the menu. Nice location on the main street, with a distant view of the giant mushroom!
Our New Years Eve dinner was excellent. The wait staff was very friendly and accommodating and had good suggestions. Pace of meal was perfect. Not too slow and not rushed at all. Great classic Italian and fish entrees, and desserts. They were flexible with our kid's meal as well. Great location in Downtown Kennett Square.
