    Lunch menu had many selections and 3 people ordered differently with dinner, salad and sandwich. All commented on the excellence of the preparation and taste. Dessert was very good. A great place for a catch-up with friends.

    We had a reservation and instead of putting us in the dining room we got seated in the bar. It was more than 15 min we waited and no one came to be our server. We had to go back host to see who our server was. We almost left

    The service was excellent. Our server was very attentive though she was clearly hustling from place to place. We set outside as the night was very pleasant. Of course, there was street noise from the traffic but part of the ambiance of visiting with people passing by. The food is consistently good and very reasonably priced. This restaurant has not followed the lead so prevalent right now of raising prices. A very good choice for a night out!

    Our food was hot, fresh & delicious! We dined in the bar area, which is open & gets lots of natural light through large windows facing the street. Despite their being short-staffed, the service was excellent. The upside to that was that we were able to linger over our meal. The menu is varied and several special options were offered. Overall, a great dining experience - we look forward to visiting again.

    It was a gorgeous evening for outside dining! The live music was very enjoyable outside! It may have encouraged others to eat outside which is great for business and everyone was working hard. Food was delicious however one recommendation would be to offer lower priced glasses of wine. Possibly there were house wines that I did not see or the waiter did not offer.

    Excellent experience! This is the first time here for Dinner. We have visited several times for lunch. Our favorite lunch is the margarita pizza. Our dinner choices were Lobster ravioli and panned seared scallops. The scallops were a bit salty and the risotto a little undercooked. Lobster Ravioli was excellent. Service was outstanding!!!

    The food is delicious. The service was as good as the waitress and hostess could provide. There are numerous tables inside and also an outdoor eating area with many tables. It is severely understaffed for lunch and as I said, the two women did the best job humanly possible.

    We hadn’t been to this restaurant in several years but we’ve always had good food and drinks here. It was a beautiful evening so we chose to sit outside. Tables were packed pretty close together on the side of the building but it was still nice to sit outside. The noise level from passing traffic is to be expected and is not in the restaurant’s control but the gunning of loud exhausts by motorcycles and cars should not be tolerated by the town- especially in the thriving restaurant district. Service was slow and it seemed like our waiter had too many tables he was responsible for. After waiting for our drinks for close to 20 minutes, we finally asked the busboy to check on them. Unfortunately, after I ordered Peroni on draft (which is one of my favorite Italian beers ) the waiter came back and told me that they were out of it. Fortunately, the food was very good because the waiter never came back once to check . We’ll give it some time before we go back there and will likely pick a less busy night than a Saturday.

    The food was outstanding. Fried calamari was cooked perfectly. The special arugula salad was delicious. I had the veal chop special. Tender and cooked exactly as asked. My husband had the veal parmigiana and he said it was like butter. Omar Galway us excellent service.

    As requested, We were seated outside on a fairly busy Saturday night. As with many restaurants they were short staffed but everyone was very pleasant and did their best to accommodate everyone. It was a lovely evening and no one seem to be in a rush. Everything was delicious from the appetizers to the main courses. Particularly tasty were the grilled artichokes, prosciutto and mozzarella ! The Mushroom bruschetta was also quite tasty!

    One of our favorite places in Kennett Square! Our evening was perfect, as it always is. I enjoyed the salmon and risotto with a side of cauliflower and sautéed spinach. Sometimes I think I love the risotto even more than the main dish. So rich and flavorful. Even Jason’s vegetable sides are special - always crisp and fresh, expertly prepared. Hubs had the black linguini special with shrimp and salmon. He devoured it. Our waiter, Mike, took WONDERFUL care of us, the cocktails were perfectly mixed and our wine glasses were never empty. Sam, the manager/owner stopped by our table to say hello, which we always enjoy. Love this place!

    Always enjoy dinner at LaVerona. Staff is extremely welcoming and service is excellent. The menu offers a very nice variety of Italian dishes and the food is always very good and at a reasonable price.

    It was our anniversary, wanted to try a new place and heard rave reviews about this place. We had a 630 reservation, we arrived promptly at 630 and was told that they were running behind. Ok no big deal. We were sat probably with in the next 15 mins. Once sat we looked over the menu and were greeted by our waiter. Ask for for a drink order but we didn’t have a drink menu. He got us one and we ordered a drink. Took about 10 mins to get our drink. Took another 15 -20 mins before we actually ordered. Enough time had passed that we finished our drinks. We ordered our food 2 apps and 2 entrees. Food came out pretty quickly, even though the app I ordered was wrong. But either way we were hungry so I ate it. Our waiter apologized. It seemed to be he was overwhelmed with his tables. Once it calmed down it was a much better experience and he was a bit more attentive. It started off rough for us but eventually smoothed out. But I would say it wasn’t a great experience. All in all it took us just over 2 hours to eat. For the hype that we had heard , we weren’t impressed. It’s was good but not great. Maybe we will try again. But not for awhile.

    It was our first time dining at La Verona. It did not disappoint. Everything was great starting with out wonderful waitress "Barb". She was the best waitress, but most of all she was pleasant and a joy to be around. The food was A+. There were 6 in our party and everyone enjoyed the food. We are going to plan to go back again this summer.

    Last couple of meals weren’t up to par because when they get busy they cannot handle the volume. Food quality and service both noticeably decline.
