Here at La Verona we make it the way you like. Our Private room makes your party special and enjoyable. Let us spoil you.
Great food & service. I have several food allergies and our server & the kitchen paid extra attention. Very appreciated.
The food was ok. I the ambiance was weird. Decor was trying to be fancy and music was pop. All that aside the food was ok but pretty expensive considering. Also no dedicated kids menu.
Pretty good itialian cuisine. I had the seafood fruit de mare over linguini. Not the best I've had but affordable and tasty. Side Note: Bathrooms were a mess so my advice to the owners is to jeep those clean.
Always a great experience at La Verona. The bartender was energetic, kind and attentive and the tap beer was great. We then chose to dine in the restaurant for dinner & the waitress was friendly & service was good. The food never dissapoints. Both my husband and I love La Verona!
Good food weekend they have local music. Very welcoming place to dine.
Great food and drinks, their calamary and mushroom ravioli were amazing. It would be nice if they had some music.
La Verona is a good restaurant. We chose to go early when it is quiet so we could talk and enjoy our meal. The food is always good, service was also. The restaurant seems to be popular, has music on the several nights later on. The decor is a little tired but other than that is a nice place to meet friends in busy Kennett Square. We will go back again.
First learned of La Verona during the 2018 Mushroom Festival and were quite impressed, told ourselves we needed to check out further. (6 months later) After spending a day at Longwood Gardens, we decided on dinner at La Verona to keep out promise to ourselves. The appetizers of roasted artichoke hearts and antipasto were fabulous. They can be a light meal in themselves. My wife had the salmon special and I had the veal parm. Both done to our highest expectations and we were not disappointed. Finished with spumoni and raspberry cheesecake along with savory coffee. We love the old world Italian atmosphere and the food is fantastic. Italian lovers - you won't be disappointed!
Party of four......three of the four enjoyed their meals. Veal piccata was very tough/unetable. Waitress couldn't stop trying to rush us through the dinner ...I guess to turn over table. Tables in bar area are nice...large back room is noisy/crowded.
Good food and service. Arrived at 2:15 pm so was quite quiet.
Another terrific meal w great and professional service by Poi (sp). This has become a favorite of ours and much of it is due to the very personal welcome we receive from owner, Sam. We greatly appreciate it and look forward to our next visit
A good northern Italian restaurant in the quaint town of Kennet Square, PA
Celebrated by Husband's birthday and had a very nice time
La Verona have become one of our favorite in the area! Consistently great food, service and atmosphere!
The food was excellent and the service was perfect. We read other reviews about people getting bad service, but we were pleasantly surprised. Great place!
Great food and friendly service. While the veal parmesan is delicious, went with the fish special and was not disappointed. Portions are generous so you get your money's worth. Not our first trip and won't be our last.
One of the best places in the area for seafood pasta plates. The portions and quality are outstanding. Quickly becoming one of our favorite places.
Really didn't enjoy either entree we purchased. Mine was extremely oily and my husband's tortellini had so much sauce it was like soup. My kale risotto was undercooked and way over seasoned with basil. Didn't see any kale.
We had a very nice meal. The service was very good and the food was as well. I would definitely return.
Service was excellent and the food top notch! Glad we were able to make a reservation
We purchased a Groupon which could be used Sunday-Thursday. They wouldn’t honor it on the Thursday we were there because it was Valentines Day.
One of our favorite restaurants in Kennett Square area. We have had family dinners there as well as special occasion celebrations as a couple. Love the food, staff and settings.
Good experience, tasty food.
Our server ( a young woman) I believe you spell it Poi was superb. The food (I had duck, my husband had veal Parmesan was great and the servings were generous) was delicious. Of course we had the mushroom soup and I ordered the roasted artichokes as well. I finished mine off with the tiramisu and a glass of Italian wine that the server suggested. We lingered over dinner in the corner by the fire and then went down to see old friends at the Kennett Flash. Dinner made the evening perfect.
Our experience was the same as always. We were greeted at the door by the owner, Sam who always makes you feel he's extremely appreciative of your dining in his restaurant. We were seated promptly and waited upon by Barb. She was very friendly and professional. Our food was prepared perfectly as usual. We were presented w the specials of the night which my fiancee decided on one of them. She thoroughly enjoyed it. There are many restaurants in this area, but La Verona is absolutely tremendous. We will be back again and again.
The service is always excellent and the food is great.
La Verona is a little gem. Great food and Great service! Wonderful every time!
Very nice. Quiet lunch.
Such an enjoyable place to spend an evening. The food is awesome. In addition to a great menu, the specials are even more so. My husband had a spinach/ricotta manicotti special with seafood topping and I had the swordfish special and they amazing. The service, the owner and the ambience is great. It is a bit toned down of an environment - could be a little livelier. On the nights they have music, the place is exciting but regular nights it is pretty quiet.
Love this l,ace. Even without the Living social coupon, this establishment is one of our go tos.
Awesome as always!!
On a Saturday night parking can be a challenge ... but just go a few streets away to find it. Decent service, good food, what's not to like.
Had to ask our server for the wine and cocktail list...she was hell-bent on getting our order in as if the place was packed. Cocktail came straight up even though ordered on the rocks. Before the cocktails we're finished food started arriving...had to guard the wine list so she didn't take it. Doesn't she understand the more we spend the more she earns?! Soup spoon hidden under bowl and when I asked for one I got a snarky response. Mushroom soup and mushroom granitee were great, veal was CHEWY and lamb shank was just okay.
Food was excellent. Service from Omar was outstanding. Will return.
This is our go to date restaurant. Our table by the fireplace that I requested was ready when we arrived. Staff is always very welcoming and accommodating. Nicole, our server was great! The calamari fra diavolo is my new favorite. Food is always delicious! Wish it was a BYOB but won't stop us from returning.
My husband and I had dinner at this restaurant during the week after our visit to Longwood Gardens. The food was okay for an Italian restaurant. I've had better. The service was very good and prompt. The value of the meal okay.
Server & service a positive. As place got busier, it appeared they could use more help. Three of four meals fine. Fourth, a filet, very fatty, & even questionable whether true filet. Two desserts also fine.
We were in the area visiting Longwood Gardens and went to La Verona at the recommendation of a family member. The food and service were both very good. I’d recommend this restaurant if ever in the area.
Great food and atmosphere
Very good classic Italian dishes and innovative specials. Had the manicotti with spinach, scallops and shrimp special-served in a rose sauce. It was perfectly balanced.
Good overall, but not great. The food was very good, but not out of this world, we were happy with it for the price. The service was slow. I do understand it was a holiday but they seemed to have plenty of staff. We were seated quickly but our waiter moved at a very slow pace and the food took quite a long time.
