My new favorite place! The food was amazing and the service was outstanding. What a great view of Reno also! Perfect place to go for a romantic date night

We all decided to eat at La Vecchia for my birthday. I have been there before but not in a long, long time. I had invited two good friends that are picky Italian eaters so I was hoping the food had not changed from the last time I was there. It hadn't! It was actually better. Lou and Misha are the picky Italian eaters. Misha had the linguine and clams and Lou had the veal. They both said the dinner was very delicious and would eat there again. I had the Chilean sea bass, made perfectly.
The service was excellent. I will be going back for sure!

Too noisy with the loud and screaming kids.... They should be separated from the general public.... People dine out for good food and relaxing ambient. The ambient was Fminus.

Everything was great and the food was amazing. We did get an appetizer from their specials that day that was quite expensive considering the small amount and preparation that went into it, but everything else was great! The service was a little slow, especially since they told us we only had 90 minutes to eat there due to it being NYE and being at limited capacity. We would’ve been done much sooner had it not taken so long for our dinner to come out after our salads were done. We had already been there for 75 minutes when they finally brought us a dessert menu and we had already had to ask our busser for the check. That’s just a tiny little thing that wasn’t a big deal though, just something to consider for if you go there. Otherwise it’s a great and delicious fine dining experience and the restaurant is beautiful!

Our first time dining at LaVecchia was Christmas Eve with some clients. The food was superb, the service was wonderful and oh those views! Will definitely be back!

Best dinner experience

My husband and I just moved to Reno a couple weeks ago and we went to La Vecchia for our 25th anniversary. The food was very good and the view was beautiful.

Wonderful dinner with friends! Service was excellent. Did a nice job of following all the COVUD regulations. Definitely return.

Been there a couple of times and their food is good but service has room for improvement.

requested a window seat with my reservation, was given a table next to the kitchen, not except-able, Food was hot! and exceptional, table service was poor, forgot to add an item to my attorneys order. overall I would dine again at.

Salad was not worth the price. Clearly the artichokes came straight out of the can/jar. Both pasta dishes were too salty, clams clearly not fresh. Waiter kept grabbing our drinks from the rim vs middle of the glass

Have had the privilege of dining at this establishment a couple times. It won't be the last. We love everything about this place. Excellent food, excellent service, excellent people.

Good, but food quality was definitely not the same caliber as the old La Vecchia I remembered.

Wonderful happy hour options on their outdoor patio makes for a nice way to end the day.

I have eaten at La Vecchia before and enjoyed it. This time we were with family and every one of our meals was awful. Totally disappointed. Service was great and the ambience was great but the food was not.

I used to think this place was amazing - it has really changed over the years. The menu has shrunk but the prices have not. I would expect with less items the quality would be the same or better. Not the case. I'm not sure I'd go back.

The service is always amazing and the food is great. I frequently enjoy the specials of the day.

The food was really good. We had Bruschetta and marinated olives as appetizers and both were excellent. I had gnocchi which were light and fluffy with a simple but tasty tomato sauce and one of the best Caesar salads I’ve ever eaten. My husband had mushroom raviolis in a lovely mushroom sauce. The raviolis could have been cooked a bit longer, but the flavor was wonderful! The only thing that really needed improvement was the service. It was very slow. This may be because of a shortage of staff due to the pandemic. It may be that our waiter was covering too many tables. We will definitely visit La Vecchia again.

Julio is the best server - great recommendations, just the right touch. Food is delicious and well prepared, coconut gelato is worth saving room for!

First time dinning in, can go ahead and say it is delightful and worth it. Small cute little restaurant mom and pop owned.
The food tasted fresh, made to perfection, the wine list has a good variety of local and foreign wines.

Service was slow, but oof was great.
