La Vecchia Cucina
Dinner: Sunday - Thursday: 5:00pm - 10:00pm, Friday - Saturday: 5:00pm - 11:00pm
Spaghetti bolognese incredible as usual.
The pancakes at brunch were disappointing however, undercooked and served with imitation maple syrup.
On Saturday night the place was at capacity for its first seating (6:15pm) with tables lingering over coffee and iced-teas until our 8:15 reserved table was finally ready by 8:45. The host was happy to oblige my suggestion of a round of drinks for our party on the house. All the food was wonderful, melt in your mouth, light and flavorful Italian. Looking forward to going back!
Wonderful night great dinner amazing service. Highly recommend.
La Vecchia has consistently had yummy, gourmet Italian food. I’ve been coming to this restaurant for more than 15 yrs and they continue to kee doing things right!! You can’t go wrong with any item on their menu😋😋
Excellent. Jack's service was perfect and the food was right on. I look forward to returning many times.
The restaurant honored my online reservation and gave me a table on time. The food was excellent.
Love this place been here many times. Carpaccio de Tonno and Spaghetti Mondo Vecchio are what I get every time.
Can't beat it.
Really nice people great crew. Kevin at the bar is great if you come solo or just want to sit at the bar.
Absolutely love the food and the hospitality.
Great service. Great food. Loved the restaurant. Went with friends and enjoyed the drinks, salads, and entrees.
The service was great and the staff extremely nice.
If you are looking for “the real deal,” in terms of great vibe and delicious food...it’s a no brainer!
La Vecchia “ROCKS!”
Been going here for over 20 years. Outstanding quality and perfection. Really good staff and the food is the best northern Italian cuisine on the westside.
Excellent salads. The Tri-colore salad is wonderful. And best rigatoni bolognese in Los Angeles.
Good food but far too noisy.
Feeling to be pushed out to make as much as possible clients.
This is a great neighborhood Italian Restaurant. Be careful not to eat too much of their freshly cooked bread before your Pasta is served. A great place to tale the family at a reasonable price.
Never having been to the restaurant we were surprised and pleased with our dinner. Our server was knowledgeable and agreeable to any changes in menu selection, made great suggestions and was at the table often to make sure all was going well. My husband had delicious lamb chops, I had Branzino with a wonderful Puttanesca sauce and friends each had pasta dishes which they loved. Next time we find ourselves in Santa Monica (delightful and cool) we will definitely return.
Our top spot in Los Angeles area. Service is always perfect -- friendly and efficient. If you love Italian food, this is the place for you. Among many outstanding dishes you can try caprese salad, linguini with clams, and the chicken picata.
Food and service is always good here. We are never disappointed.
Menu is uninspired and predictable. Wine list is weak, including few Italian whites.
Always satisfying and so reasonable; Sunday brunch especially so.
The service was exceptional and the food delicious, but the noise level was so extreme that it was impossible to relax and hear any conversation.
Love this local gem-have been going there for years and its always wonderful! I'm on a restricted diet. They are very accommodating and always willing to make my dinner with whole wheat pasta that is delicious.
Excellent bread/olive oil, bruschetta, and good pours from the bar. My husband enjoyed his pizza entree and I had l ham, shrimp, pesto linguini that was excellent. Nice ambiance, friendly staff and walking distance to shopping and entertainment. Fun evening.
Excellent food and service. The bread is to die for!!!
Good restaurant. We ordered carbonara and lamb that were very tasty. Good service and a beautiful Ambiance.
Awesome as always!!!
The food is and has always been delectable!! My favorite Italian restaurant for the past 16 years😊
We made early reservations and specified we wanted to be seated by the window. We were advised it was already reserved, but she did not know when they would come. We were there for an hour and a half, and no one was seated during that time by the window. We could have been enjoying that spot, as we requested. This left a bad taste in our mouth. In addition, the server seemed unfriendly and she was not attentive. She seemed snobbish and unpleasant. The food was good, but we do not understand why the mashed potatoes are not offered every day.
very good Italian restaurant, excellent setting and well cooked dishes. my carbonara was really good!
My absolute favorite local. Yes
Food was great! Service was slow, we needed to get our waiters attention several times to order & then to get the check. The place was Very noisy/loud!
Fantastic restaurant and for me, neighborhood gem. Consistently good. Wonderful service. I take guests and know it will be great!
A delight. We have been meeting friends there for years..it is always tasty.
Great food!!! Consistent for 25 years
Great food, great service, comfortable atmosphere. Our waiter Matt was attentive, funny and efficient. The special lasagna was excellent. Tri Color Salad and fresh bread were delicious. Wide selection of wines, nice option to eat at the bar to watch the World Cup. Fantastic location on Main Street. Go!
Thank you for a wonderful meal, we will be returning and recommending you to our friends.
Wonderful food! We are never let down at LaVecchia!...
