We offer 3 different menus nightly at La Toque.
The Core Menu, where you can make your selections from a list of savory dishes and desserts.
Or choose the Vegetable Tasting Menu of five courses and dessert.
And for the ultimate La Toque experience, put yourself in Chef’s hands and go with The Chef’s Table Menu, a pre-selected menu of nine courses including 6 savory dishes, cheese, and two desserts.

Meets Michelin star expectation
Attentive but not overbearing service
Sommelier was very helpful
This is one of those "expensive but worth it" restaurants. One of my Top 10 dining experiences EVER. The food could not have been prepared any better. The service was impeccable. The wine pairings excellent. And just a lovely place for a special dinner. If you can handle $400+ a couple, do come here.
I unfortunately changed a reservation for Coles Chophouse to dine with La Toque. I was not only appalled by their unprofessionalism but utter disrespect and blatant rudeness. This dinner was to celebrate my birthday and I was completely embarrassed. I will not only not be back but will never recommend to future guests.
So.... this place is amazing. I would highly recommend it. However, there was no one else in the restaurant. I don’t understand it.Every course was expertly prepared and delicious. The service was excellent and I had some great wine as well. Totally under rated in my opinion and if you are reading this review you must eat here.
Fourth time dining here… Took my wife here after proposing and this was our third anniversary. Outstanding as always!
Wonderful experience and great food . I was glad to have chosen this restaurant to celebrate my anniversary.
Poor service cold food ate there 2 years ago Thanksgiving it was great! Not a Michelin restaurant any more. Should loose star.
Wont be back!!@@
Michelin what? This was one of the poorest meals I’ve had at any restaurant, and the fact it’s supposed to be Michelin star is appalling. This was the worst meal we had during our time at Napa, and double / triple the price. Food combinations were odd, the “complimentary” bites we had at the beginning of our meal literally tasted like yesterday’s leftovers and the rest of the meals were lackluster at best - The cod for example did not taste fresh, and was soggy. Dined at many Michelin Star restaurants, including another during our stay at Napa and I’ve no idea how this has made the list.
The meal was really lovely. Interesting food but still light with 4 course. My only suggestion would be the wine pairing should offer more wine in each pour. I’m not a big drinker but in total the 3 pours were about 6 oz which is a bit light at $55
I made reservations at La Toque expecting a fine dining experience for my boyfriends Birthday, unfortunately this did not live up to the hype. We experienced a very expensive below average dinner. The fish was not fresh, the pot de creme was rubbery, the service was average at best and the wine was Ok. I have eaten at many Michelin Star restaurants and this was the worst experience that I have had. Save your money and go to one of the other amazing restaurants in Napa.
The overall experience was underwhelming at la toque. The service was great- no complaints at all there. However, the food was nothing to write home about, especially taking into account the price and Michelin rating. I think part of the issue is that you customize your menu - there are too many options and you can pick items that don’t compliment each other and it feels disjointed. There is no flow to the meal. We’ve eaten at quite a few Michelin restaurants around the world and part of the appeal is the experience the meal creates. Here you have 3 seemingly random dishes (we did wine pairing as well) that are good, but not great. Net-net, good meal, but not worth the price and definitely don’t think it’s Michelin-worthy.
We had a lovely dinner celebrating my wife's birthday. Special in every way!
Perfect! Staff friendly, knowledgeable ... excellent food and wine pairings.
Fabulous!! 2018 Michelin Star restaurant delivers a “4 & 5 course meals of the utmost foodie experience!”
The staff were professional, polite & gave exceptional service!
Every entree was made with flair & pride by the Chef’s masterful cooking, & we were treated with complimentary samples from our chef during our dinner, as well as a little gift box of 4 small sweet delights!
LaToque is a perfect place for a night to propose, celebrate a night of a special occasion, or for foodies who want to splurge!
It will cost you around $200 per person if you include a bottle of wine, but believe me, every bite was worth every penny- you’re not just paying for the food, but an entire culinary experience of refined dining.
716 dollars for two people, steak too salty, wine pairings were not good, very disappointed
Great food and ambiance
Wouldn’t recommend. Stuffy and dated. Not worth the price.
We dined midweek, originally very excited. That was soon changed due to lack luster service and food. We ordered the 4 course pairings & were disappointed-they lacked taste & looked as tho they sat under a heating lamp. For being a Michelin rated facility, one would expect more!! There are many other great places to eat in the region!
Experience was excellent! Very accommodating for a gluten allergy and put a candle in the dessert for my boyfriends birthday. Food was amazing, service was even better, highly recommend.
It was a bit underwhelming.
Wine director was arrogant, not interested and unhelpful. Based on his attitude I would not recommend this establishment.
Great service, wine list is overwhelming and way too large. Once seated the staff was great, never really saw the Somm. Expected more.
Wonderful place with outstanding service, incredible food and spectacular menu options.
This is a restaurant within a hotel. The arrival isn’t Michelin star. The people and the service is good. The price point and pairing, $165 ($110 & $55, 3 oz pours) for 1 person isn’t worth the experience, amount, and over the top you’d hope you’d get...wine list is overwhelming. The Som was great for pairing and suggestions. Not sure I’d recommend this to others...several other amazing restaurants in the area for a lower price point and friendly service. Photo is of 2 small pieces of grilled octopus as one of 3 savory courses.
More than an amazing food this place is an experience. Well done!
We spent a delightful birthday celebration at La Toque. The entire wait staff was very attentive and down to earth. The food was incredible and the dining experience was superb!
When you eat at a Michelin star restaurant there is always excitement. We have had that experience at many around the world. First the good. The service stall and sommelier were excellent. Very knowledge about every dish and wine. The wine paring were well selected for each dish. All dishes were plated to perfection but it is too bad that the taste did not match the looks. The “Shaved Konbu and Fresh Abalone with Sake Braised Daikon” would have had no flavor at all if it was not for being over salted. The Rack of Lamb with Cranberry Beans, had the beans so under cooked and some very hard. The beans were also over salted. We will give La Toque one more shot next year, for this time it fell short for the $900.00 price tag.
Basic food fancily decorated and priced Michelin. That well summarizes my experience with this restaurant.
The single most amazing dining experience I’ve had so far. Apparently a Michelin Star actually means something. The service is a sublime, a team experience. The atmosphere is very nice with plenty of space. The food is extremely good. Go for the wine pairing. The seared foie gras with polenta was the best tasting dish I have ever had. You wonder what is happening to your head. I was joking around saying it was like eating an angels tears...of joy. Truly exceptional. I paid $600.00 and felt like I skipped out on the check. Really great.
We can count on La Toque for consistently great food, service and wine.
The dinner the four of us had the other night was one of the best dinners of my life.
Every thing from appetizers, thru salads and main courses to deserts were wonderful
the wine pairing suggested by the sommelier was perfect.
Wait staff was on point.
Thank you for a wonderful evening.
The food was delicious but found the timing of the courses was extremely slow time. I mentioned to my server I had an allergy & later in the meal was served a dish with the item I was allergic too. At one point, one server stood next to my booth for about 4 minutes with her back to me but right near me so I was unable to get out of the booth?? Very odd & was very uncomfortable. But the food was amazing but would rethink going since four courses took 3 hours to serve.
Most excellent dinner. Wine list and Sommelier were very helpful. Will definitely be back. Thank you for an amazing and delicious dinner. Our server Chevi was delightful.
Outrageously over priced. Wish we had known. Portions are miniscule!!!!! Tiny! And food less than average quality. One crappy ravioli. A tablespoon of snapper. A tablespoon of cheese was $15!!
We made an 8:15 reservation and were seated on time. The waiters were very polite and attentive and we laughed and joked with them which was nice. We spent $600 on dinner and I would have been happier eating at casual local restaurant. We got to try new dishes, which was nice, but I definitely bit into a solid ball of dirt that was left in one of the vegetables. The dishes as a whole satisfied but weren't jaw dropping delicious. Gary Danko and French laundry were literally the best and most flavorful meals I've ever tried. La toque was surpassed by local eateries at oxbow market.. definitely not worth the price, whatever.
I found La Toque from going to a tasting at VGS vineyards where the chef prepares food pairings for the wine. I thought those were amazing and made my reservation for that evening. As I love to eat excellent food and have never eaten at a Michelin star restaurant I was excited! The food was phenomenal and the service was impeccable. I had a lovely booth overlooking the kitchen and watched the chefs prepare each plate. I did not like something on the menu and they accommodated me with no problem. The staff made sure my meal was well staggered and we’re very attentive. I never felt lonely as I was a solo diner. I was even given a lovely table and not shoved in a corner or at the bar like some places do. The thing that got me was the price. I did indulge and have the9 course tasting menu with wine pairing and after gratuity was $440. So if you really want to splurge definitely go that route because it was excellent, but next time I will go for a different choice. I don’t want this to be a one and done place. I liked it to much.
Very good. Sommelier was very focused on their choices - not flexible. Amazing table service.
Another amazing dinner at La Toque! Always top notch service and food. Great value in comparison to other Michelin Star tasting menus as well. Plus Chef Ken Frank is the most generous ‘truffle shaver’ I have ever seen!
Excellent food preparation and service make dining at Ken Frank’s restaurant a special event, not to be forgotten.
