Chef Ken Frank’s landmark restaurant, La Toque has earned a Michelin Star every year they have been awarded in Wine Country. We are also the recipient of Wine Spectator’s highest honor, The Grand Award, for our wine list and service excellence.
Pairing wine and food is our passion. The pairings on our menus are considered by many to be the ultimate food and wine experience. Our culinary team and Sommeliers taste together daily, constantly exploring, looking for combinations that elevate both the food and wine, creating harmony.

We offer 3 different menus nightly at La Toque.
The Core Menu, where you can make your selections from a list of savory dishes and desserts.
Or choose the Vegetable Tasting Menu of five courses and dessert.
And for the ultimate La Toque experience, put yourself in Chef’s hands and go with The Chef’s Table Menu, a pre-selected menu of nine courses including 6 savory dishes, cheese, and two desserts.

Worth trying once however we got the 4 and 5 course build your own tasting menu and it was so so. They attempted to deconstruct the dishes to make it a bit more innovative, but the different flavors of each ingredient used to make each dish didn’t mix well together.

Service however was impeccable.

We give them props for that.

We consider ourselves foodies and this was an outstanding meal on Jan. 30 to avoid the New Years Eve crowd. Meals are all prefix with 4 to 9 courses with or without wine pairing. We had beef carpaccio, salad, scallops, black bass, ravioli and duck. All were outstanding...served hot and prepared very well. We did the wine pairing and the sommelier was informative and helpful. With the included 20% gratuity it was just over $400.00 for two. If you like food and wine it is worth the occasional splurge to enjoy this Michelin rated restaurant in the Westin, Napa.

Food was average at best. No innovation or creativity. My fish in one of the dishes was deep fried even after I specifically asked the server if it was, and she told me it was sautéed. So disappointed to see it was deep fried after I specifically asked her! Does she not know the difference between deep frying and sautéing? I’ve had much better meals for the same price. Utterly disappointed.

I was really excited to try this restaurant when I was visiting Napa with my family. Our entire party is vegetarian, so the fact that the restaurant offered a vegetarian tasting menu was the reason we chose this specific restaurant.

While the service was impeccable and the wine was phenomenal; the vegetarian tasting menu fell short of expectations. It was obvious each course was well prepared and beautifully arranged on the plate; however, out of 5 courses (I am excluding both the amuse-bouche and dessert), 4 courses included mushrooms. By the end of the meal we were all eating around the mushrooms. Being a vegetarian my entire life, I know there are plenty of other vegetarian fine dining options that could have been offered on the vegetarian tasting menu that didn't include mushrooms. While no one was allergic, it just didn't offer much of a variety for us.

The food was wonderfully prepared both taste-wise and presentation-wise. The staff were professional, attentive yet non-intrusive. The wine pairing was good (if only they can price it more reasonable cos after all they are in the wine producing region)and I have 1 outstanding red which is the 2010 GSM 'L'Autre' from Terre Rouge. My one comment was on the sommelier who was less than friendly. He performed his obligatory narrative on the origin and varietal. When asked further upon the pairing, if he could describe the taste, he did not offered any description, displayed an attitude like 'where should he begin', stayed silence a bit, turned and walked away.

This was a birthday dinner and it exceeded our expectations. The white truffles are finished for this year but the black truffles are coming soon. They will be here in the beginning of January. We will return.

The service was on point and the food was a big surprise. I will certainly come back to try out all the dishes.
