La Te Da Ratings and Reviews
We went here for dinner on the last night of our week long stay - and we weren't disappointed. Service was excellent, food was very good and atmosphere was perfect. The after party in the lounge was the best - great music, dancing and singing made for a memorable evening. We would go again and highly recommend it.
The food, the staff, and the overall place was fantastic. I truly enjoyed the great meal that was brought over for me to eat but what stood out the most was the ambiance and the awesome personnel working at this restaurant. They were always so kind and standing by to assist you with whatever was needed for you to enjoy your meal and time. I lived down here a lot of years and walked by this establishment many times but never stopped to eat. Well the wife and I just added a fantastic place to our eating list.
EAT HERE! They will not disappoint!
Every time I have been to La Te Da the food is absolutely perfect. There are no boring fried brown foods here--there are lots of healthy, over the top flavorful foods to choose from. The wait staff are always fun, friendly and have great suggestions for drinks or food. The ambience is truly lovely. The restaurant and dining areas are spotless and beautifully decorated. Just a short stroll from the Butterfly Conservatory. Makes for the perfect location.
We go annually to La te da to celebrate my partner's birthday. We are treated like royalty. The food is outstanding. The drinks and desserts are yummy. The atmosphere is amazing. The wait staff extremely attentive. The host, Chris his usual magnificent self. Michael the bartender makes the most delicious concoctions. The cabaret "the 3 sum" magically entertaining. Thank you for an amazing, memorable evening.
La Te Da was a very enjoyable dining experience. Paul, our waiter, was exceptional and greatly added to the relaxation. Our food was perfectly prepared, very distinctive cuisine, exenplary taste and presentation. The outdoor seating is very peaceceful. We are local and will definitely be enjoying La Te Da again.
Really enjoyed the atmosphere and high quality food. Super nice server and the chef has been changed since our last visit some years ago with a real eye to detail and flavor. Entertainment options post dinner add to the evening. These folks know how to do special.
Not a good showing for a restaurant that was highly recommended. Perhaps an off night--Thursday. We started with the Passion salad which was ok , but sparse. My wife had the snapper which was unexpectedly fried and not very tasty. I had a chicken pasta dish that purportedly had eggplant. When I was unable to find one piece of eggplant, the waiter said that it was cooked into the pasta. Really? On a positive note, the bread was delicious. An unforgettable and disappointing experience considering all of the great dining choices available in Key West. Went to Latitudes the next evening which was more of what we expected fine dining to be in Key West.
Brunch reservations on a hot morning. Nearly empty resturanut so we tried to sit inside but was informed only outside seating. The menu looked very good. Simple smoked salmon Benedict. The eggs were cooked perfectly but could tell the muffins were nearly stale. It listed a Chive hollandaise but it must have been mislabeled because it tasted very much like key lime hollandaise which is very popular in the area. Drinks and coffee were very good. Overall a good breakfast before our drive back home.
My husband and I went to La Te Da for dinner before the show they offer upstairs on Tuesday nights. The service was absolutely outstanding and the specials were to die for. They have a gorgeous patio that overlooks the pool which gave us a very romantic setting. We let our server know we wanted to make it on time for the show and he was very accommodating, ensuring our food was paced well but we never felt rushed. Great ambiance, food, and service. We'll be back!
