La Te Da
Very quiet this visit. Usually busier with a great atmosphere but very few diners. Average service
Always a pleasure. I have eaten at La te da numerous times over the last 15 years. The only downside is the menu never changes. Even the specials are usually the same.
From the hostess/greeter who could barely be bothered to get off her chair to our server, the lack of friendliness is appalling. We felt like we were bother8ng them to eat there. This is with reservations, I might add. The "award winning"crab cakes were mushy and bland. Purported to use "only four ingredients," perhaps chef should consider a fifth, say, paprika or cayenne. My husband had fish which was also bland. Maybe chef worked on a cruise ship where all food is mediocre and tasteless, but in Key West there is competition and you shouldn't settle for this.
Not our favorite anymore.
They have changed the way they prepare (no preparation?) chicken . If we go back, we will make sure to never order the chicken. I used to love the salad add chicken so much that this time I ordered extra chicken....it was not good. My salad was $31 and my husband’s salad was $25. That is way too much for good salad with bad flavored chicken.
Perhaps they should clean the grill?? Perhaps they should go back to the fantastic tasting chicken they served last year?! We may never know.
Loved it! Went twice this week.
Such a beautiful setting and food was excellent. Stayed for show after dinner-one of the best ones on the island. This is a must when visiting Key West!
La Te Da's never disappoints! Food, Service, Ambiance all Outstanding! I would highly recommend this restaurant to tourist as it is a locals favorite!
Service was Spot on & Excellent. Group of seven for breakfast. Sausage & biscuits were fantastic. Also at the table ordered eggs La Te Da, French toast and Eggs Benedict - All were great. Would definitely go back and would recommend.
Latitudes is always a wonderful place for lunch. The view, the staff can’t be beat. And the lobster salad is amazing! Love taking friends and family there. Never a disappointment!
Breakfast was delicious & waiter was very attentive & pleasant
Never have I been disappointed.
Beautiful restaurant with excellent food. Wonderful pre show dinner.
Excellent as always. Great service and food was exceptional.
Always a pleasure to eat at La Te Da......The food, service and setting is just about perfect.
The sauce for the steak was outstanding, but the meat was over cooked, medium well instead of medium rare. The waiter seemed not to understand how I wanted it cooked.
Beautiful atmosphere...……..great food...…...loved the piano bar!!!!
We had the Ménage a Trois Eggs Benedict for brunch, which consisted of one of each of three Benny preparations, all of which were delicious. The eggs were perfectly poached, hollandaise was just the right consistency and full of flavor, and English muffins were well toasted - not soft enough to become soggy and not over crunchy. The other components of each preparation were also fantastic. We also had very tasty Bloody Mary's. Their patio seating is lovely. The service was good. The meal and drinks were a little pricey, but worth it, given the quality and ambiance. A sidebar: the restrooms were divine - well lit, with sparkling chrome, spotless tiles and lovely wood finishes. Nicest restrooms of any of the 20 odd restaurants we visited on this trip.
The wait staff was outstanding. Tyler was our waiter provided awesome service, met our needs without being over our shoulders. My partner had the duck and I had the ribeye special, both were excellent. Thanks again for making the evening special.
Breakfast was AMAZING! Sat poolside and enjoyed a wonderful meal, wonderful weather, wonderful service.
It’s a nice place. Fun ambiance outside. Food was very good. Not “amazing”. Service was fine, nothing special.
Seated us upstairs by ourselves, not very much fun, then they were out of the wine we ordered. The food was great, but then the waiter screwed up our bill. Overall poor experience and would not recommend this restaurant.
We make sure to go to La Te Da every time we visit key west. We love it! Food is always excellent.
We sat upstairs, which was much more quiet than the main dining area. The andouille and clam appetizer is spectacular. The prime rib was perfectly roasted and served at my requested medium rare with au jus and horseradish sauce; my companion’s yellowtail snapper was roasted to perfection with browned butter and capers. Excellent meal!
Great service and good. Thank you
Very nice outdoor setting. Food was excellent for one, very good for another. The issue was the service. From beginning to end, it fell far short of what a place like this should offer. Once seated, over 20 minutes just for our drink order. Our Vulcan waiter had zero personality. The busboy was very good however. May return, but they have a lot of competition.
We had friends visiting with us in key West. Had to wait unusually long time for dinner after placing our order. Plus other tables were served before us and they were seated after us. Waiter Lars (sp) seemed to not care and was inattentive as the night went on. We were there for 3 1/2 hours. Never had this happen and we have been dining there for past 15yrs. Not good for business in my opinion
Lots of meals here. All good. Nice service. Easy in and out.
Food was cold when served.
Too expensive for value.
Wonderful as usual, friendly service, ended evening with Randy Robert’s show upstairs and terrific music in bar downstairs after the show. All in one spot!
Awesome!!!! Great food and ambiance!!!! Service was outstanding!!!
We had a lovely dinner. We were seated even though I had made our reservation incorrectly for the following day thru Open Table. Our waiter was very professional. The food was delicious overall but the filet was a bit overdone. When we first arrived having drinks at the bar, served by the inimitable Tonto, was certainly a high point not to mention the mean Mojito that she makes. The atmosphere is very laid back yet elegant. Totally enjoyed the experience.
Fantastic restaurant. We sat on the second floor balcony looking over the bar and Duval Street. Everything was perfect.
Fantastic place to dine and the nightime entertainment is wonderful
Waited forever for food. Some good food, some mediocre.
The steak and the pasta were both excellent. The server was extremely responsive.
Food and atmosphere was great as always. Such a treat to dine here!
Salad, shrimp entree and dessert were all above average. Wait staff did great job. Definitely would recommend and definitely coming back.
La Te Da is a nice and and away from the regular crazyness of Duval St. Great food and drinks. Wonderful jazz every night too.
Restaurant dinner was disappointing. I had the stuffed chicken. Dessert and the cabaret show upstairs were great. Service was also very good.
Always a top notch experience. Cold well mixed drinks, many reliable menu favorites and a gorgeous place.
