   The food here is very good. The service is good as well but service seems overwhelming sometimes. This is a noisy place. There are 2 rows of tables one near the bar and kitchen and a row of booths. I requested a booth and hostess told me there was a reservation for 7:15 that requested a booth. I had a 6:30 and 4 tables were paying when I arrived. She refused to give us a booth and we sat at the kitchen window. Very busy area. The booths sat empty until we left. Very upsetting that even at 7:15 there was no one sitting there. Would have been a better dining experience after spending $272. Dollars

   I'm disappointed and embarrassed that I chose La Tavola for my mother-in-law's birthday dinner. Our server walked off several times as we tried to order, and tossed coasters onto the table rather than placing them. Not the most professional behavior. But I was more disappointed that the asparagus that were ordered were basically roasted strings. I've never seen asparagus this skinny! If you're going to serve ultra skinny asparagus, you could at least serve more than 10 pieces. It was ridiculous. The quality of the food is not what it used to be. I won't be back.

   I always love going to LaTavola, such a great neighborhood restaurant. Our server, Lucas, was great, knowledgeable w food and wine. Our dinners were very good. Our table for two was crammed in at the front door w two other tables for two. Much too tight. My pork chop was very good and came w a side of corn and mushrooms. There were 12 kernels of corn and one very small mushroom. Seemed lacking. The burratta salad was delicious.

   Always a delicious/delightful evening. The seasonal showcase menus are not to be missed. What dining out should be.

   Always a combination of both great food and drinks delivered by efficient and friendly staff who are always willing to provide for an enjoyable and well prepared dinner and beverage service making the perfect meal.

   Pasta dishes were very good, but overcooked. Breads were excellent. Dessert menu was weak and the gelato was not gelato. .. it was ice cream. Service was excellent and reservations easy to get but most likely will not go back. Definitely overpriced.

   As always, the food was excellent and the service also. Our server, Dakota, was well informed and absolutely delightful. La Tavola never fails to raise the bar on all aspects of dining!
