Wonderful food. Wonderful atmosphere. Great service. And all-around excellent meal
Everything about this place was just okay. Disappointed in the food. Would go back for drinks only.
We went for brunch. Wonderful service and the food was excellent, we were on the heated patio, that was perfect.
We come to Atlanta from New Braunfels, Texas, once a year to go to the Atlanta Market. Since we discovered La Tavola, we make our habit to eat there during our stay. We just love the place.
This our favorite neighborhood place. Lots of comfort food on the menu. Servers that seem genuinely happy to be there. A very nice wine at incredibly reasonable prices.
Nice neighborhood restaurant featuring excellent Italian food. Appetizers, in particular, were creative and well crafted. Loved their pistachio butter.
Great experience overall - waiter was a bit off, but made up for it.
Will is an excellent bartender and very knowledgeable. Food is authentic Italian like you’d get in Italy.
Food is consistently great. Service was attentive, friendly and informative about dinner specials.
We had an early Saturday night reservation and was seated promptly. Focaccia was light with a crusty top. Pasta delicious. Attentive and personable staff. Thoroughly enjoyed dinner.
My wife and I ordered a Sweetwater 420, but were served some sort of bland pale ale. We didn't say anything because we were entertaining friends who live in NYC. And eat in a lot of great restaurants. And travel all around the world. And we were having a great time in such a great dining room. So we chose La Tavola as a destination for our Friday dinner. They mostly liked it very much. But my wife and I would have preferred to be served the beer we ordered. Otherwise, it was an outstanding evening. Oh, your wine list is way, way, way, way, way, way, WAY overpriced. You are not fooling anyone. Fix it.
There were four of us. I was disappointed in the fish special which was small and drowned in salt. The other meals were fine.
Always is a pleasure dining here. Great food, great service and the bar tender is fabulous (forget her name)
Second time visiting La Tavola. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is intimate. Would definitely recommend for a date or a nice evening out.
Food was entirely too salty. Focaccia on appetizer menu wasn’t really anything special.
Great Italian food. Excellent service
Great fixed menu for NYE. The portions were enormous. We were especially impressed with the knowledge of our server. Overall, a great evening of food. New favorite!
Really enjoyed the service from Chris total professional.
Excellent food and service with excellent value.
Always consistently good all around. Had the beet salad with pistachio butter that was delicious as was the gnocchi. Still my favorite place in Atlanta!
The food was delicious and we loved their Monday pasta special for just $10
Return from overseas
Always an amazing meal at La Tavola! Happy that our waitress remembered us from our last visit and helped us to remember what bottle of wine we had. Food is always fresh and delicious! This is a neighborhood gem!
Birthday celebration, everything was excellent!!
Food was great, service excellent, just wish the ricotta dish was still on the menu ☹️ But everything was delicious
La Tavola feels like being in the North End of Boston. Great atmosphere and food. I would definitely go back for any occasion where good food and conversation are on the agenda.
Our neighborhood goto!
Great ambiance! The only downfall is that my fiance got sick several hours after eating here. Otherwise, we would have gone back!
Our server was attentive but not friendly at all. He was at times almost rude. He rarely made eye contact with any of us at the table and overall acted like he was doing us a favor to serve us. Food and wine was excellent.
It is a good neighborhood restaurant. It has a nice variety of dishes. They modified one to accommodate my gluten free requirements which I appreciated. It was a nice experience.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Highlands. The service is consistently great as is the food. I prefer sitting out on patio but inside is fine too.
Great food. However this experience was just good. Slow service tonight and the chicken was nothing special. Focaccia, Caesar and Bolognese were excellent as always. Top-Booths are great. Tables are way too small. I won’t sit at them.
The foccacia is probably the best I have ever had. Great pasta!
Another delightful evening with excellent food and wine!
Dinner with my wife, daughter and son-in-law. All had different entrees and all were excellent. They even allowed me to bring in a bottle of wine and do not charge corkage fee if you also purchase a bottle off the menu. Great experience. Same year after year
Sad. This used to be my favorite when we moved away 7 years ago. Used to have great food and great wait staff. Today. Both were mediocre when I returned to ATL from NASH. Bolegnese was under seasoned and bread was burnt. Server was indifferent. Host was properly attentive. Not sure I'll return.
Best bolognese in Atlanta! Fantastic wine list, knowledgeable and friendly wait staff.
Great evening at a neighborhood favorite. Delicious food and great ambiance.
We came here for dinner after seeing the Hip Hop Nutcracker at the Cobb Energy Galleria. Our old fashions were amazing, our mushroom pasta was delicious, and our walnut gelato was divine. The service - from everyone - was exceptional. We'll definitely be back again soon!
This was our first visit to La Tavola but won’t be our last. We were very impressed with the service (Richard was our waiter) and the two dishes he suggested. My wife had the Tagliolini mushroom ragu and I had the Tagliatelle bolognese. Both were excellent. We overdid it a little by adding Focaccia and a Caesars salad just to try them and were not disappointed. Next time, if we can’t resist these two add-ons, we will order the small plate size entree’s which are offered as an option, and now we know why. We will be back soon.
