We had an awesome bottomless brunch. Good mimosas, delicious food. Couldn’t ask for more.

Excellent value considering the location. Intimate but not crowded-feeling. Good wine, reasonably priced.
Note: A Convenience Fee (4% ) is added to the final bill if paying with credit card (very small print at bottom of final receipt)...not something I encounter at most restaurants in NYC or elsewhere but many restaurants probably pass on this cost to the customer in prices of menu items . Nonetheless, it's not a good way to end a meal...Afterwards, I couldn't find any such information on the website though I may have missed small print.... :-
Still a great place to eat!

A real find in a neighborhood that is short on finds! Charming ambiance; friendly, solicitous service. Tartes are delicious and very generous in size. Prices are very reasonable. Will definitely return and recommend to friends.

The food was ok, but this establishment has a ridiculous policy that if you pay by credit card, they charge a 4% processing fee on top of your bill. I have never seen by any other restaurant before. The waiter was very inattentive, and it's a small place, so it's not like it's super busy. I will not be going back here.

The service was friendly and the onion soup very tasty. Not crazy about their tarte flambee, which is their speciality. I'd prefer pizza . But it was interesting and certainly not bad. Would like to try some of their other French specials next time.

I’ve been here a half dozen times and I can vouch for the Flambés at La Tarte Flambee. Why you would order anything else when the name is in the title is beyond me. These are what they hope to cook for you and the results are fan-tastic. Good to share, possible to scarf one down solo as well. Sweet and savory. Filling. Flat out delicious.

The banana split dessert flambee is the move after dinner.

I had the potato cakes eggs benedict with salmon. The potato cakes was very delicious and the eggs were perfect, however, the salmon was a bit underwhelming. I don't think the cooked salmon worked because it was overdone and bland. My sister, brother and I ordered the same thing and we thought we will be getting the smoked salmon instead.

My husband and I picked La Tarte Flambée because we have traveled twice to Alsace, enjoyed the region immensely and loved the food and wine. I now cook some Alsatian specialties at home but since we were in NYC, we decided to try this restaurant. It was petite and cozy with a brick wood burning oven for cooking plus it added to the atmosphere. Our young waiter, originally from Strasbourg/Alsace, was excellent as well as very friendly and kind. He hustled around taking such good care of everyone. The man making the Tartes Flambées, along with other specialties, worked diligently turning out delicious food. We started with the Betteraves Rouge/beet salad with goat cheese. The wood oven roasted beets were delicious! Then we chose to share the Tarte Flambée Gratinée, our favorite and were not disappointed. It was so flavorful that we shared a second one! To go with them, we enjoyed a couple of glasses of Alsatian Pinot Gris. We would have liked to have tried one of the dessert specialties but were too full. It was a delicious meal in a wonderful little place that made us feel we were back in Alsace. We will look forward to returning the next time we visit the city for another tasty and fun experience! Thank you very much to the staff at La Tarte Flambée! Merci beaucoup à tous à La Tarte Flambée! À bientôt!

Had a great time. Much like a flatbread but with a fun, different take on the toppings.
The service was very welcoming.
This isn’t a place you bring someone you’re trying to wow with glitz and glam, but it’s a place you bring good friends that want a genuinely good time with good food in an atmosphere that’s great for conversation... great for second or third dates!
There’s an endless mimosa option that I wish we partook in, but we had two people that had to go to work and my pregnant wife. I’m itching to come back for the boozy brunch.

Party of 4: My 14 year old, my niece and wife. Delicious escargot and scrumptious tarte fflambee. Sat a little too close to the door and felt the cold wind, but we picked the table so that was on us. And we could have moved. I have had their banana split in the past: Crushingly good...

What a lovely place this is! The food is delicious! We tried the tartes and the dishes from Alsace. Everything was so so good. My favorite was the Grumbeerekuechle - potato pancakes with apple sauce and side of greens. Yumm...

Service is excellent. They go above and beyond to provide a great dining experience.

The outside patio is charming.

We had a wonderful evening dining here. Would def come back here mainly for the outstanding food and service.

My husband, son and I came here just to have something "French" on Bastille Day. We all loved our tarts. Nice to try something different. My son lives in Murray Hill, so we often try new places that we can walk to when we are visiting. There are many options in the area, but we enjoyed La Tarte Flambee enough to put it on our "repeat list"!

Our waiter was excellent. He was very attentive (never letting our glasses stay empty for long!), funny, and helpful. We were a group of 6, but we never felt pressure to hurry up and leave like at some places. The restaurant has a very laid back atmosphere and the food was great. I would definitely return!
