The Paris Room overlooks Post Oak Blvd with space for 50 - 60 guests. The Paris Room seats up to 16 guests at a long table with room to host 25 for a reception. Larger groups can be accommodated in our beautiful Château dining room & our first floor Marché is perfect for more casual events both inside & on our patio. All of the space can also be combined for a full venue buyout. Our events team will work with you on all the details of your event and execute them while exceeding your expectations.

Michael was our waiter, and he was wonderful! We had a great dinner there. The restaurant and presentation of the food are beautiful, and of course the food is delicious. I would like to see the lights dimmed a bit in the evening. But the ambience is really nice overall.

I hate to say it but The Chateau at La Table was just OK. We were hoping to have a great meal and when we found out we couldn't order what we wanted (roasted chicken for 2) it went down hill from there. The service was good but the food was average at best. I had the Halibut special which was OK but Masraff's is so much better! My Mom had the lobster and bad. Come out cold and the spices weren't to her liking. Not sure I can give it another try. If you are going, you need to make sure your order the chicken at the time of the reservation.
We enjoyed the tasting menu for our party of four celebrating a birthday. Food was exquisite, service perfection and the value was remarkable.

Service and food both left a lot to be desired. We waited for 10 minutes after beingseated before provided with drink menu. Wine recommendations were on point but aside from that, the experience was a disappointment. Our server said that dishes could not be made gluten free because they were “pre-made.” The shrimp cocktail was tough and had brown slime on it. I ordered the Branzino which comes with asparagus, marble potatoes, and frisée salad - I subbed seasonal vegetables for the asparagus and the other two sides didn’t come out, so I had to essentially beg for the potatoes, no salad to be seen. Ambience was probably the best part - would not go back.
Absolutely delighted to have found this stunning restaurant for a special occasion. The food was delicious and cooked perfectly, the staff were decreetly attentive and we had a most memorable family reunion dinner.

My wife and I are obsesssd with good food and if you are looking for a truly ala carte meal then look no further!
For entree we had the Tomahawk for two, which they flambé in brandy at the table- and wow the taste was spectacular.
The best part though was the starter I ordered, very simple roasted eggplant ravioli with a tomato broth and foam reduction. AMAZING, so delicious!
Staff are unbelievably attentive and it’s the only Michelin stared service I can think of in Houston.

Houston Restaurant Weeks lunch. Had the avocado/cucumber salad, salmon/veggies. Perfection! Love this place and a real deal for HRW.

Start with a drink downstairs at the bar with Susan, then upstairs for your meal. The lamb done tableside for two is exquisite. Francis and his staff are all charming and sincere. And what a gorgeous restaurant with all the books ... lovely.

Met some friends for what we hoped to be a special evening, but the extremely slow service, lukewarm food (I had the mignon poivre. Medium rare. Received it rare and lukewarm. Nobody checked it was done right) was nothing to brag about. It's a beautiful restaurant, so you would expect service to only support it.
I've noticed a gentleman walking around asking each table about how their evening was going. Except ours. Hmm. Profiling? Maybe they cater to only a certain audience (you follow?). That's fine. You just won't see me or my friends again.

Perfection as always! We’ve dined here several times and it is always delightful and delicious. The service is impeccable.
My spouse and I went there for our 39th wedding anniversary. The wine list is extensive, with some of the wine being reasonably affordable. The sommelier did recommend the bottle we ordered and it was less expensive than another we were considering, but went very nicely with my spouse's tasting menu and the kale salad and lobster I ordered. Speaking of the lobster, it was fabulous and prepared with different accompaniments than I would normally think to pair it with; the sliced peppers on top of the lobster were reasonably spicy, more like a mild to medium jalapeno. My spouse enjoyed her tasting menu, particularly the branzino fish. We topped off the dinner with the chocolate souffle for two, which was fabulous. My spouse omitted the dessert she was to receive on the tasting menu in favor of the chocolate souffle. The wait staff was attentive, without being too cloying, and all wished us a happy anniversary. There was even a card on the table wishing us a happy anniversary. The time between courses was perfect; so often I feel rushed through a nice dinner, but La Table - Chateau spaced the courses so that our meal was leisurely, with plenty of time between courses to digest the prior course and engage in conversation. All in all, a most pleasurable evening!
La Table always delivers delicious food with impeccable service. The food is prepared with absolute care and attention. The staff are incredibly attentive and provided for our every need. The caramelized cheese souffle was creamy and delicious, the filet au poivre was perfectly cooked and melted in my mouth. Dessert was a tough choice - chocolate soufflé, crème brûlée or chocolate caramel choux. We'll have to go back to try the choux, but don't regret the choices we made. We'll be back again for another meal soon.
La Table - Château is an elegant, very quiet space which, to me, makes it enjoyable. The food is delicious. Our service yesterday was incredibly slow; our coffees arrived after our dessert was eaten, after we had to flag down our waiter to check on them which was a little difficult by itself. Also had to flag down the waiter to request our check, weren't sure if this was part of the process for lunch, but it seemed unusual and inconvenient given the scarcity of our server. Finally, given that it's a fundraiser, I believe the server should have offered us Restaurant Weeks menus at the beginning rather than upon our request.
Marucio took excellent care of us. Dinner was excellent, service was excellent, our table location was fantastic. The staff made us feel extremely comfortable. The chocolate soufflé with ice cream is an excellent way to end a fantastic dinner. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the experience.
We had reserved a table in Th Château but when we arrived they said our reservation was for the Marche more causal Dinig. I had to wait for approval for a table when in fact the place upstairs wa virtually empty. Only two tables had a reservation. I don’t know who made the mistake but quite agrevating! I’ll call direct for future reservations in Houston
Food was only so so... I won’t be returning
Should have known it was going to be bad when our couple friends showed up before us, ordered a cocktail at the bar, and were told that they ran out of rum. Who runs out of rum before a Saturday evening?! We were sat and it took about 10 min to see our server to order cocktails. (Keep in mind the place is half empty, it's 7:45pm). I ask for a dirty gin martini with one olive, I get a clean martini with two. My gal pal and I get menus and it takes them almost 10 minutes to get 2 more for our husbands. We order an appetizer, foie gras and some charcuterie -both decent however the dirty empty dishes sat in the middle of the table after we had been done for 10 min. By this time our cocktails have been empty for 15 min and it seems the only service we're getting is from the water person. It's awful. At this point I'm embarrassed as we've talked up this place to our couple friends and now here we are, a basically absent server, empty cocktails and empty dirty plates. This isn't the La Table we've come to know. However, it's soon realized that this may be the reason they're half empty on a Saturday evening. Needless to say, the manager was hailed, we were offered to be taken care of personally by him, we declined as we have little patience for such tomfoolery. This is Houston -our choices are infinite! We can get much better service elsewhere...and we did. We got up, left, and finished our dinner at another venue. I'll close by saying, I don't see this place staying open much longer. Half empty on a Saturday? Tsk tsk tsk.
Excellent French menu that is carefully prepared. Attentive but not intrusive service. Good wine list but well known wines are fully priced. Excellent cocktails. One of the best restaurants in Houston.

I have been to La Table many times to celebrate special occasions. I have always enjoyed the restaurant. The last couple of times I have been there I have noticed that restaurant is slipping. I celebrated fathers day my last visit. To start off there was no silverware on my table. Food was served without anybody noticing this. The ceviche did not taste fresh, the filet mingon was over cooked. The coffee cups that were set out at the coffee bar did not match the saucers. There was also no cream or milk set out at the coffee bar. The restaurant is an upscale restaurant with no dress code enforced. There were people at the brunch wearing T shirts and cut off shorts.
Very disappointing to see what I once thought was Houston's best to slide into mediocrity.
Where do I start? I enjoy this restaurant and have had very satisfactory experiences eating here but they really missed the mark this Father’s Day. We were first seated at a window table. While waiting for our third party to arrive, we were told that we had to move because “someone important” was to be seated there. Uh, o.k., guess they didn’t see my husband’s picture in the Chronicle today (and not in the obituaries). The next table we moved to had a dirty tablecloth & they were in no hurry to change it so we moved yet again. Now to the “brunch” at $65 per person. The waiters bring to your table breakfast food- croissants, rolls, eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes & French toast (filler food). Then if you are still hungry you can go to the “stations” for shrimp, roast beef, salmon etc.. Our Diet Coke and cappuccino were extra. The wait staff acted as if they had just started today. Very unorganized and they seemed confused. Then of course the bill came. Charged for a mimosa that the waiter said he knew we didn’t have but left it on the bill anyway. I have had brunch at other restaurants that charge a similar price and they knock your socks off with presentation and food choices. Somehow, we left feeling duped. Just wanted to share so others are forewarned.
Everything was presented nicely, and I appreciated the little touches like the tiny after-meal truffles. However, the food was pretty disappointing for the price, especially the tableside lamb. Coffee and opera cake were amazing and the service was very careful.
