Easter Brunch was fantastic! This is our “go to” place for all special occasions. Their holiday brunches are the best in town! Even had a visit from the Easter Bunny. It high end and classy and delicious.

La Table is always a first choice when entertaining special friends traveling to Houston. The food and service never disappoint. While I am not a weekly diner at the restaurant incredibly their staff always remember me and this is impressive to be greeted by them. Another lovely and memorable evening at La Table!
Not an experience worthy of the prices. First, we ordered our favorite champagne, which they had a bottle of in their display, only to be told they don’t carry it. Then our server got my order wrong then argued with me about it, wanted me to taste what he’d brought and see if I liked it, then was annoyed when I didn’t want to eat it anyway. We ordered one steak medium rare and one medium and they were both red all the way through. The people who brought out the dishes and did their coordinated reveals of your meal had no idea whose meal was whose.
It’s a beautiful restaurant, I very much appreciated their gluten-free efforts and the chocolate soufflé was delicious, but this was not a 5 star experience and I wouldn’t recommend it.
My niece and I met for lunch and enjoyed the ambience and food at this lovely restaurant. Our waiter was very friendly and provided great service. We sat upstairs in the Chateau Dining Room which had lovely fresh flowers (even in the ladies room) and was great for conversation. I will return.

The place is nice, Post Oak is a mess, and sitting outside might be noisy, dusty, however, we st inside downstairs after deciding upstairs was not as cozy. Waited quite a while to make an order on pre inner drinks, waited 15 min for those two drinks, and continued to have to get the attention of staff to make food orders etc. The bread on the table was so tough, it became a thing of amusement that neither of us could make a dent in it, , it was like plastic, the staff brought out new bread "new"....but shouldn't the bread have been new, fresh anyway? We both ordered crab cocktails, and it was fine, simple. they brought the dessert tray, nothing looked good, asked for coffee, got that, and they brought a macaroon, it had freezer burn, the coffee was cold. At least we gave the place a try.
Sadly the food has gone downhill...The caesar salad dressing was so strong that it was inedible. The brussel sprouts were bitter, the quinois salad was under-cooked to the point where the grains crunched when eating. One bite and I was done. The Salmon was a bit undercooked, part of it was still raw. The menu has been reduced to such a small selection that there is too little choice.My date ordered a burger and I saw that he only ate a few bites. I used to love this restaurant... I wont be returning.
Went for a spontaneous lunch and have found a new favorite place. Food is gorgeously presented and full of intense flavor. Crab salad and Lobster Bisque definitely do not miss. Susan was our server - she has a lovely presence and her hospitality is genuine. Wine list very well thought out and the prices more than reasonable. Can’t wait to go back!!
Very nice atmosphere. I think some of the food is a little pricey, but the service is very good. I was surprised they didn't offer something complimentary for my daughters birthday- I wasn't planning to spend $150 on lunch for 3, and we did not even order drinks-
The food was meh but the drinks were lovely! Kind of slow service.
We have been to La Table many times and often it is our "go to" for special occasions. This past Saturday, they were not on their game. It started with a call confirming our reservation when the hostess "confirmed" our reservation for 2. In fact we had made a reservation for 5. When I corrected her, she hesitated, and said, "oh ok, yes, correct." What irritated me next was that when we arrived for our seating, they sat us in the back room at a small table for 4 and said that the front room had been reserved in advance. I made our reservations over a month ago. Lastly, we only learned at the time of listening to the specials from our waiter that the chicken for two was only on a "pre-ordered basis" so it was not available. How would we have known? With as many possibilities in Houston for fine dining, I'm sorry to say we will hesitate to return to La Table.
Definitely will go back!

Le Table has a WOW factor for sure. We had dinner upstairs in the "Chateau" and were not disappointed. We started with a cocktail at the bar where Umberto made the best Martini I have had in a long, long time. Awesome. My wife had a beautiful Pinot Noir and it started the evening off great. We moved to our reserved table and loved the ambiance of the small table.
We started with appetizers and ordered a really nice Pualliac which is a variety hard to find it seems. My wife oreded the Fois Gras and I the french Onion Soup. While expensive, verging on over priced it was delicious. We then ordered the Short Rib and the duck which were both amazing. We ended with the Chocolate Souffle which was AMAZING. I never eat desert and demolished this. Overall, an amazing food experience, a decent service experience and while expensive....a great meal experience.
Great ambiance service and food
When we arrived, there wasn't a hostess to greet us, so we just stood around for about 8 minutes. This was kind of weird as the first floor hostess told us to go up to the second floor and ask for the hostess there.
There wasn't any room at the bar, so we just stood by the bar after the hostess asked us to wait at the bar. It should be known that this was Valentine's Day.
The appetizer wasn't so great. I had the lump crab salad, and it smelled very "fishy". The flavors were all over the place, and I thought the entree would be worse than the appetizer.
I ordered the lobster, and they were all out. I thought this was also a point of reserving a table as the restaurant could make sure they would order enough food. I placed the reservation back in December I believe.
The waiter and staff on the floor serving were very professional and nice. This made the experience great.
I ordered the filet mignon instead since they were out of lobster. The waiter asked if he could do anything to accommodate the lobster not being available, and I asked for the rice side that came with the lobster. He brought my wife rice as well and extra mashed potatoes.
The dessert was okay. I am not a big sweets fan, but the chocolate souffle did not blow my mind.
Overall, it was expensive ($125 per person) plus drinks. I think our bill was about $350 and $400 with tip. Our waiter was exceptional. The service team was amazing. The waiter let us know about their brunch which will try in a few weeks.
Ran out of my fish after I ordered and it was downhill from there

We have exceptional food and service every time we dine at LaTable. This evening we especially appreciated our Waitor Oscar’s knowledge and description of the Chefs new-to-us menu.
Everything shout my experience tonite matches my previous times there. Food excellent but a bit overpriced. But when you look at the fabulous French service that is displayed you can see why. Decor stunningly modern. I don’t know why all restaurants have to be so,so noisy. This is no exception.
Great atmosphere and great food. More so by having Ryan as our server. When we ordered creme broulle and it was out, he offered us a small cake so my friend can enjoy a bday song. He even lighted a candle for her! That was going above and beyond!!

I ordered eggs Benedict with the lump crab. The crab had an odd taste. And the side of potatoes were not fresh.
