You have the best food.
I took three friends there who had not been there- they absolutely loved it- the food, the service everything..
Always where my late husband and I had our anniversary dinners.
Really great food and excellence service! The mushroom ravioli was the best. Everything was done to perfection. The service was very timely and with a smile. I will dine here in the future on any more trips to the Reno area. it lived up to its rating as one of the 10 best in the USA.
Wonderful...the service and the food, fantastic.
Great food. Nice environment quiet and warm. Great wine list.
The pasta dishes and mango panacotta were excellent. Our new and young waitress was attentive and accomodating. The tables were disappointingly close together to the point that all of the service people were having to tiptoe in order to squeeze between tables. Good pricing for the quality of many of the dishes.
Met w/professional friendly staff who attend to wine and drink orders, allowing us to review the menu.
Returned w/ drinks, and provided guidance on questions and took orders.
Excellent appetizer and entrees. Light sauce, tasteful sauces on both shell pasta and ravioli
The food was quite good - the wine list and service was good. We just happened to get a bad table. I should have ask to move when I realized one chair was 1/2 on tile and 1/2 on carpet. Moved across from it and that chair was partially in the walk way - bumped 4 times by waiters. Will go back and make sure we don't get that table again.
Celebrating our anniversary. Good food and service. Nice dinner before the show. Mushroom ravioli the best !! Amazing.
We went here before seeing a concert. Our waitress, Libby, was a wonderful waitress. She helped guide us to make great decisions on the menu, and was super attentive to our needs as well as others that helped fill water glasses. The food was fabulous!! Highly recommend.
The food, atmosphere, and the staff were great. This was our intimate dinner before returning to Texas as we were married In South Lake Tahoe the Saturday prior to our visit. Despite having vacationed there for the 2 previous years we had not had the opportunity to dine here. We are extremely happy we decided to dine at La Strada.
our meal was totally delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience at la strada.
I thought the food and ambience was excellent. Waiter Alex was attentive, helpful, introduced himself though he did not know the wine list and the wine specialist was off on Mother's Day. It was more expensive than I had expected.
My husband however was disappointed with three things: the table across from the kitchen was noisy and the table wobbled. He said that his lasagna was too salty and that his specialty tequila margarita was too weak. Based on these three things he said that he would not come back. Honestly, I was disappointed to hear this.
Wonderful authentic food. Would definitely visit every time we’re in Reno :)!
Mother’s Day celebration
Once we were seated, we were very impressed with the waiter, who was very informative and willing to answer questions about the food, etc., and the food was very good. However, our reservations were mismanaged, and our table was given away to someone else, even though we arrived and checked in 15 minutes prior to our reservation time, as well as confirming the reservation through the Eldorado earlier in the afternoon. I did ask for a confirmation thru Open Table, who did send a confirmation, but every time I tried to respond the call would not go through and I kept getting a retry notice. This was very disappointing, as we had driven up to Reno from Mesquite, NV., an 8 hour drive, for this very special occasion. We may go back to the LaStrada Italian Restaurant, however, I will be sure to make the reservations through the Eldorado instead of Open Table.
I would recommend the veal marsala so flavorful melts in your mouth, my wife had the salmon very tasty she loved it, our compliments to the chef, we will definitely be stopping buy for dinner on our next Tahoe Reno trip at this wonderful restaurant, thank you Gino, and the Eldorado for this great experience.
First time we went great!!!
Second time not so great
We ate at La Strada before seeing Cirque Paris in their theater. It was wonderful - big city dining in a small city. We are so lucky to have Eldorado restaurants and theater available to us! First place that comes to mind when we want to go out.
We had heard many great things about La Strada, great food and atmosphere, wine list and more all is true a great dining experience.
Friendly knowledgeable wait staff. Nice fine dining experience. Nice variety menu.
Tony was a good server. He was quick and suggested a few tastings to help us pick the wine we wanted. The antipasto platter was ok, the bread basket ok too. The olive bread was my favorite. My fiancé and I both ordered the risotto. I got the scallops and he got the veal osso bucco. The 'risotto' was terrible. Completely dried out and looked like a sad rice pilaf. We both ate our proteins and pushed the rice away and to the side. It was obvious we didn't eat it and I told Tony it was very disappointing and we wouldn't be eating the rice. It was underdone, had no liquid and obviously spent too much time under the heat lamp. Tony offered to bring out some mushroom ravioli, I declined as we were filling up and my fiancé is allergic to mushrooms. He brought out a tiramisu for my birthday (no singing, thank goodness) which was nice but when the bill came both risottos we're still there. How very disappointing, I had to ask for Tony again and pointblank said I would not be paying for both of the meals. We did not eat them and I made it clear we were dissatisfied. No manager came by to speak with us or apologize and I had to ask that the bill be modified. It was a very sad birthday dinner to say the least, we will not be back.
Excellent food, beautifully presented, great atmosphere!
It was the 1st time I've been to your establishment it was an awesome experience I will be returning .
Beautiful restaurant with very tasty, delicious food and great service.
Need more flavor, plates are to big more presentation
This is a favorite restaurant in this area. I have never been disappointed, whether a new dish or the favorite mushroom raviolis! It’s a great place!
Quality of the food and the ambiance are wonderful.
Great food and service. Our server was Tony. Thank You for a wonderful dining experience!!
Food and service were excellent, but the front-of-house check-in experience was quite off putting. First, there was one long line that did not distinguish between reservation and non-reservation. The person working the front-of-house would disappear for several minutes before returning. Many in line had questions about this apparent disorganized way of simply asking to be seated. Once we were inside the experience was great.
A good dinner and the service was very fine. There were a couple of "hiccups"...:
1. The Manager "hustled" us a little too much to be a fine dining experience.
2. The noise at one of the tables became so much at one point in the dinner that my friend and I actually found ourselves shouting at each other just to be heard.
However, if those two standouts were tossed, it would have been a great night. The server was very attentive and the food was good.
Absolutely loved this restaurant! We were eating before a show and they were kind and considerate with regards to the time constraint. We went on a Saturday night, which was busy, and so the food took a little bit to arrive. They brought a complimentary mushroom ravioli for us while we waited! It was great! Absolutely recommend!
Great service. Fabulous food. We were very happy with our experience at this restaurant. When we return to Reno we will definitely go back for dinner.
We always enjoy La Strada. The experience is warm throughout. The service is excellent, and the waiter is always helpful when we're torn between entrees. Loved the wine we chose!
My husband and I came to Reno to run the Reno Marathon and of course carbs are required. We had a wonderful experience at La Strada. The food was the best Italian food I have had - no question. The wine list was expansive! My server was fantastic - friendly from the start and extremely attentive.
Our server, Blaze, was outstanding. He kept an eye on us to make sure our requests were taken care of in a timely manner. Food was prompt and well heated. Salads and breads excellent. Will be going again.
Chicken Mattone was superb.
Nice meal to celebrate my daughter’s 30th birthday. Great service. Tasty food. Large portions!
Came to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We had a secluded table and an excellent waiter. The food was delicious as usual. Despite the fact it is in a casino, La Strada has become our go to Italian restaurant. Love the house made pastas and the risotto is just the best!
We had a party of 5 with a Birthday! The dinner was great the service was wonderful and the show was excellent!! We were blown away with how reasonable the price was for a wonderful dinner and a great show!!
